Naughty Boy released the song after he got into a Twitter beef with Louis from 1D
SOOOO … remember how Zayn Malik decided to quit as a member of One Direction last week due to a litany of excuses? Well, today we learn the real reason he decided to go in his own direction … because he wants to become a solo artist, apparently. After producer Shahid Naughty Boy Khan, who we now know is working on solo material with Zayn, got into an odd Twitter beef with One Direction member Louis Tomlinson yesterday after Louis felt Naughty was bragging about working on solo music with Zayn, he went ahead and released a demo version of a Zayn solo track titled I Won’t Mind for all the world to hear. I’ve given the song a couple of listens and A.) it doesn’t sound to me at all like Zayn Malik (tho, I must admit, I don’t really know what he sounds like without 1D) and B.) I don’t really care for the slower, more “soulful” sound that Zayn is trying to go for. HMMM. Click above to hear Zayn‘s solo track I Won’t Mind for yourselves (for as long as the song remains on You Tube) and then click below to read the Twitter beef exchange that took place yesterday between Louis and Naughty Boy which resulted in the release of this song. Madonna is #2
Billboard magazine has released the Top 200 Album Chart for the week and has revealed that the Original Soundtrack from Season 1 of Empire has outsold all other albums this week and has landed in the top spot. Coming in with a debut at #2 is Madonna with her new album Rebel Heart (this is the first time since 1998 that a new Madonna album has not debuted in the #1 spot on the Billboard album chart). I think it was pretty much expected that Madonna would land in the top position because tickets for her upcoming tour are bundled with an album sale for each ticket sold … but not even that gimmick could sell enough albums to give Madonna the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200. Empire wins the day … and the week as the #1 album in the country. More »
Contract Negotiations in Full Effect
Back in October, director David Lynch shocked the world with the thrilling news that his cult classic TV series Twin Peaks would be returning as a limited sequel series on Showtime in 2016. Since that time, it was revealed that a book will be coming out in the mean time that will bridge the story gap from when the show first went off the air to the start of the new Showtime episodes … and it was confirmed that lead actor Kyle MacLachlan will reprise his role as Special Agent Dale Cooper on the show. Today we learn the very troubling news that the Twin Peaks reboot may be in trouble after Lynch made comments about the show at an event over the weekend. According to David Lynch, pre-production on the show has stalled because he still does not have a contract with Showtime to make the show … sooooooooooo … no contract, no knew eps. More »

Sure, why not?
Sarah Michelle Gellar, who has signed on to star in the upcoming second season of Star Wars: Rebels on Disney XD, is a featured star in a fun new viral video making the rounds today. SMG stars alongside Whitney Avalon in a Princess Rap Battle video — which is as awesome as it sounds. Sarah is Cinderella and Whitney is Belle and the ladies go head to head trading barbs … while rapping. As you may recall, SMG broke all of our hearts last week when she killed all chances of ever reprising her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer but obvs, she’s got time to do Princess Rap Battles. LOL. I guess we take what we get. This Princess Rap Battle is the fourth of a series of videos. You can click HERE to watch Snow White vs. Elsa (who is a queen not a princess, btw), HERE to watch Galadriel vs. Princess Leia and HERE to watch Mrs. Claus vs. Mary Poppins (neither of which are princesses).
“Saban is trying to shut ‘Power/Rangers’ down”
So, remember that AMAZING fan-made short film that we saw yesterday that gave us a much darker, very cool version of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers which was created by director Joseph Kahn? Well, it turns out that the company that owns the Power Rangers franchise is pissed off that the film was even created and they are doing everything they can to shut down the short film Power/Rangers. Kahn informs us that Saban Entertainment has been harrassing him about the film and is trying to legally have the film removed from the Internet … with little success. You see, Kahn‘s fan-made film is a parody made up of entirely original content. Yes the film is based on Saban‘s characters but under the terms of free use, Kahn‘s fan-made Power Rangers short is not infringing on any copyrights held by Saban. "Now [Bobby] and his family want Whitneys $$$"
I need to preface this post by saying I am not on Team Nick Gordon. Actually, I’m not on Team Bobby Brown either … but previously, we learned of the feud that has been ongoing between Bobby Brown and Nick Gordon over Nick‘s attempts to visit Bobbi Kristina (who is still on life support) in the hospital. Today, we learn of a series of tweets that Nick posted on his official Twitter profile putting Bobby Brown and his parenting skills on BLAST. According to Nick, before Bobbi‘s accident, Brown had only “seen his daughter 4 times in the past 5 yrs” (Nick‘s grammar is pretty bad, sorry about that). Click below to read what else he has to say. So he tweeted at her a bunch of excuses
Fern Mallis, the brilliant woman who created New York Fashion Week, voiced her disdain for all things Kanye West (including his new clothing line for adidas) this week saying, “I’m kind of over Kanye. I mean, I’m not a fan of his music, and the attitude and the agenda is not my style.” Kanye caught wind of Mallis‘s comments and decided to respond to her on Twitter. Kanye just posted a series of tweets aimed directly at Fern Mallis which could’ve easily been sent to her privately but have, instead, been made public for all to read. Click below to read the laundry list of excuses that Kanye gives for how difficult it has been for him “to do clothing“. More »
There really has been no new information regarding Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s condition as she remains on life support in the wake of her drowning accident almost three weeks ago now. But we are hearing that more drama is surrounding the poor girl as she lays unconscious in the hospital. Nick Gordon, who Bobbi Kristina claimed to have married last year, has been trying to get in to see BK but he has been banned from seeing her by her father Bobby Brown. Gordon and the Brown family do not get along and now that Nick is being investigated for possibly having a hand in Bobbi Kristina‘s drowning, there is no way the Brown family will let him anywhere near their Krissy. Even still, Nick Gordon is trying to desperately to see her. More »
"@PapaJohns was my favorite pizza"
It would appear that Iggy Azalea not only has terrible taste in hair’dos but she also has horrible taste in pizza … and now she’s paying the price for it. Iggy took to her official Twitter profile to publicly complain that her personal phone number was given out to family member fans by the person who delivered Papa John’s Pizza to her. After she ordered a pizza, apparently, she started getting random texts from people who are fans of her work … much to her displeasure. According to one text that she shared online, one of the messages came from the brother of her Papa John’s delivery person. Mess! More »
"For the foreseeable future, Tom is done."
Yeah, so, first we heard from Blink-182 band members Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker that Tom DeLonge had quit Blink-182 “indefinitely” then we heard from Tom himself and he was all, Nah, I didn’t quit — I’m still in the band. Well, now we’re hearing from Mark and Travis again in a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine and they make very clear — Tom is out of Blink-182. According to Hoppus, Tom‘s people clearly stated to him that “Tom. Is. Out” of the band indefinitely … which is why they released their statement earlier today saying that he was out of the band. Mark says that Tom was being “ungrateful” and “disingenuous” by saying he hadn’t left the band after they said he left the band and, well, it sounds like Blink-182 is a big ol’ mess. Wade through the updated Blink-One Eighty Doo Doo below, if you dare. More »
