New Music from Mimi
Get 'Em, Get 'Em, Get 'Em

On Monday we got our first look at the cover art for Mariah Carey‘s new single Triumphant (Get ‘Em), today we get our first listen of the track in full. As you can hear, her guest collaborators Rick Ross and Meek Mills are very prominently featured on the song. The Abbey Food & Bar Introduces The ‘Chick-For-Gay’ Sandwich To Benefit The American Foundation for Equal Rights

Food for Thought

As you are prolly well aware, yesterday was a so-called Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day where thousands of people rallied around the fast food chain in a show of, IMHO, misguided support. True, many people did line up to support the company’s hateful practices but many others did so for the wrong reasons … but I’ll get to that in a minute. In opposition to CFA Appreciation Day, businesses here in LA offered an alternative. The Abbey Food & Bar in West Hollywood, CA has introduced a Chick-Fil-Gay sandwich that will benefit the fight for marriage equality. Hamburger Mary’s, also in WeHo, is offering a chicken sandwich of their own. While others gave their money to CFA that will, in turn, be donated to anti-gay hate groups, David and I dined at The Abbey last night happy in the knowledge that our money was being put to good use. May people claim that this CFA boycott is meant to stifle the company owner’s First Amendment right to free speech … but, on the contrary, I welcome his use of this right … because now more people know what the company stands for and why it’s imperative to stop giving them money. Watch: ‘Pop Up Video’ Season 2 Is Coming To VH-1

Gotye Gets The 'Pop Up' Treatment
'Pop Up Video' Returns

Last September the much-beloved music video series Pop Up Video returned to VH-1 after a long hiatus away and next week, the show is BACK for season 2. As you can see above, Gotye‘s ridiculously infectious (and seemingly inescapable) hit Somebody That I Used To Know is among the new videos to get the Pop Up treatment. As a long-time fan of Pop Up Video, I am VERY excited that the show is back for season 2. In addition to Gotye, I imagine videos by Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Nicki Minaj and more will get popped in season 2. Which videos would YOU like to see on the show this season?

Watch: The James Bond Film ‘Skyfall’ Releases A New International Trailer

Meet Bond's Newest Villain
"007, Reporting for Duty"

Back in May we got to check out the first domestic movie trailer for the forthcoming new James Bond film titled Skyfall. Today we get to check out the newly released international trailer for the film … and it is must see. There’s a new villain in town, played by Javier Bardem, and we get to meet him for the first time in this new trailer. We also get a better understanding about the film’s plot line. As I’ve made clear many times before, Daniel Craig is my favorite James Bond. I am very much looking forward to seeing him in action again as 007. I only kinda liked the first trailer, I really love this one.
