"I put on some make-up"
On Friday we learned that Dexter star Michael C. Hall began his tenure as the lead in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (taking over for Andrew Rannells who took over for Neil Patrick Harris) and today we get to see photos of MCH on stage in character as Hedwig — courtesy of the show’s official Facebook profile. As you can see below, Michael rocks Hedwig‘s trademark wig amazingly well. I am in love with these photos. Have a look below and fall in love, too. More »

At the start of this month we learned officially that actress Blake Lively is pregnant with her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds and last weekend, we got to see photos from Blake‘s artisinal (and very early) baby shower. Today we get to see Blake‘s baby bump out in public when it made it’s debut last night on the red carpet at the God’s Love We Deliver gala event, The Golden Heart Awards. As you can see in the photos presented in this gallery, Blake‘s barely burgeoning baby bump was on FULL display for the cameras … which is a rare occurrence for someone as private as Blake Lively. After the event, she was all covered up but for the red carpet arrivals, she was happy to show off what her husband gave her. Now that her bump made its public debut, Blake‘s Bump Watch can officially commence!

SPOILER ALERT WARNING
Filming production continues on the Michigan set of the upcoming sequel film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and today we learn of a MAJOR casting spoiler leak that has been revealed by an extra who broke the confidentiality agreement they signed to appear in the film. Because extras get paid very little money, they are sometimes swayed by the promise of money elsewhere if they divulge secrets from movie sets. For the most part, major spoilers about the overall plot of Dawn of Justice have been kept under wraps but because the movie is still 1 1/2 years away from release, there is plenty of opportunities for spoiler details to come out. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, an extra has revealed to a Detroit-area TV station that a major, previously unannounced, character from the DC Comics universe will be included in Dawn of Justice. We already know that Wonder Woman will be featured in the movie and it’s very likely that Aquaman and The Flash may be featured as well … so there are a LOT of DC characters on tap to appear in the movie. But this new information about another major DC Comics character appearing in the movie is so significant that I fell compelled to pass along the info with all y’all. If you are unconcerned about spoilers and you want to know who the character is, please proceed below. More »
Back in October of 2012, we heard that Sam Raimi was reportedly signing on to direct a reboot of the 1982 horror film Poltergeist and while Raimi is NOT directing the the film, we do learn today that the reboot/sequel is coming to theaters next summer. Gil Keegan is directing this remake of Poltergeist which the MPAA has given a PG-13 rating. This is interesting, I think, because the original Poltergeist movie was instrumental in the creation of the PG-13 rating in the first place. Ready or not, here comes a new incarnation of Poltergeist. More »

Late last month, Fergie Ferg officially released the audio of her comeback single LA Love (La La) and, in the process, asked fans to submit photos of themselves making the LA sign with their fingers. She also asked for fans to submit photos they have taken of or with Fergie over the years. Those photos have been complied into a fun lyric video for LA Love (La La) which you can check out above. I am still really loving this new song so I’m happy to share this new video with all y’all. If you happened to submit a photo for possible inclusion, watch the video above carefully to see if you made the cut.

Low Blood Oxygen
Last month it was speculated that Joan Rivers may have died due to a screw-up at the medical clinic where she was being treated for a throat procedure. Today we learn from the medical examiner the official cause of death. According to the final report released by the medical examiner, Joan‘s death came about due to low blood oxygen to her brain while she was under Propofol sedation. The report goes on to list “predictable complications” as her cause of death, which essentially means her death came from a known risk that occurs whenever any patient is sedated during a medical procedure (i.e. not a homicide).
