... as Only Mimi Can Do
Nick Cannon is celebrating his 33rd birthday today and his wife Mariah Carey wants him to have a very happy birthday. Mimi shared a personal selfie photo on her official Twitter profile today wishing Nick a very happy birthday, as only MC can. It’s not uncommon for couples to send risqué photos of themselves to one another for various reasons, including birthdays, but it’s not very common that those sexy photos are shared with the rest of the world. Clearly, Mimi wants the world to know that Nick is going to have a Happy, Happy Birthday … oh yes, she’s going to make sure of that. More »

"One second I'm a Koons, then suddenly the Koons is me"
In late September, Lady Gaga revealed that she was able to get artist Jeff Koons to create a sculpture for use in the cover artwork for her new album ARTPOP and today we get to check out that sculpture in the just-released cover art for her album. Fans were instructed to tweet the hastag #iHeartARTPOP on Twitter and with each tweet, more and more of the cover art was revealed on a digital billboard in Times Square in NYC. Once the entire image was unveiled on the billboard, the album art was released on Twitter. Click below to check it out. More »

Well that turned nasty fairly quickly
So … remember that open letter that singer Sinéad O’Connor penned to popstar Miley Cyrus yesterday that attempted to offer a bit of advice and featured (what I believe was) genuine concern? Yeah, well, Miley decided to respond to Sinéad‘s letter by openly mocking her on her official Twitter profile. As I suspected, O’Connor‘s letter (and the advice contained therein) fell completely on deaf (and, honestly, childish) ears. In response to Miley‘s response, Sinéad responded with TWO new open letters which, well, aren’t as nice as the first one. Unfortunately, the adult and meaningful conversation that Sinéad attempted to start up with Miley has devolved into something less mature, less friendly and completely unproductive. Click below to read the She said / She said … and then said again that went down between these two. More »
Buffy the Twitter Tweeter
Sarah Michelle Gellar, the brilliant actress who brought Buffy the Vampire Slayer to life on the small screen and redefined the character for all time, has finally joined the rest of us in the 21st century by launching her very own official Twitter profile. Now that SMG is back in TV starring alongside Robin Williams on the CBS series The Crazy Ones, I guess Gellar (or her people) decided it was time for her to get on Twitter to connect with her fans (and, likely, do a little promo for her new show). Wanna know what SMG‘s first tweet message to the world was? Click below to find out. More »

That-Ish-Cray Of The Day
Okay, here we go. Kanye West is officially over Jimmy Kimmel, and ish is getting real. Last night I read the tweets that Yeezy sent out to Jimmy Kimmel about this parody skit Kimmel put on his show (making fun of Kanye’s recent interview) and I did a lot of eye-rolling. Y’all know I love me some Kanye– like, to a fault– but even I felt like he was being over-the-top. I’m all about celebrities having a sense of humor and it just sounded like Kanye didn’t have one, at all. However, I hadn’t watched the parody video yet and now that I’ve seen it… and read this article on Slate… Sigh. Sorry, y’all. I’m back on Team Kanye, lol! And I’m not sorry! Yeah. I'd Hold On To That Too.
So, we’re all in the midst of this ongoing debate about whether or not Miley Cyrus was legitimately crying during her performance of Wrecking Ball at the iHeart Radio Music Festival. Most of the tabloids are reporting that she broke down in the midst of the show (her first live performance since her breakup with fiancé Liam Hemsworth), but based on the video we saw I wasn’t too sure. Anywho, Miley‘s definitely not shedding any tears in this new twit pic. And there’s also talk about her engagement ring– and whether or not she plans to give it back to the jeweler. Miley Tweeted Some Lurve To The New Zealand Pop Star
Honestly? It is really sad that these superfans on Twitter think that being a dedicated fan to one pop star somehow translates into sending death threats to another. WTF? I just learned that the New Zealand pop star Lorde (who I’m all obsessed with now) is officially big in the States. Lorde‘s single Royal just knocked Miley‘s hit Wrecking Ball off the iTunes #1 spot. Why that would warrant her anything other than ‘Congratulations‘ is beyond me, but hey. I’m not a Miley Cyrus superfan trolling around Twitter instead of doing my damn homework… LMAO. The good thing is, Miley came to Lorde‘s defense when things started heating up. Click inside for more!

"The show is going to be ... spectacular"
Earlier this week our dear Britney Spears made an early morning appearance from a desert in Nevada to officially announce to the world that she will be performing a 2-year concert residency in Las Vegas starting this December. Today, we get to hear from Britney again as she chats with host Mario Lopez in a new interview with Extra! TV. As you can see in the video embedded above, Britney opens up about the harrowing helicopter ride that she endured earlier this week … as well as more details about her LV residency. Brit even talks a bit about Miley Cyrus (who she is BFFs with now that they’ve collaborated on a song together) toward the end of the interview. You have to watch this video clip to the very end so you can see Britney and Mario comparing their dolls. Trust me, it’s amazing. This is a great interview! I believe it will air on today’s episode of Extra! but why wait when you can watch it right here, right now :)
