Here's an "early" look at the forthcoming movie
Way back in 2009, we first learned that Ryan Reynolds had signed on to star as Deadpool / Wade Wilson in a forthcoming Marvel Studios movie featuring the comic book hero. Deadpool is set for a February 12, 2016 release date and to mark the occasion, Reynolds is sharing a photo of a Deadpool prototype mask that will be seen when the movie opens exactly one year from today. Shortly after Missy Misdemeanor Elliott stunned the world with her amazing performance during the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show on Super Bowl Sunday, she revealed that she and longtime producer/BFF Timbaland have been in the recording studio working on new music. Today, we get photographic proof of the work that Missy and Timbaland have been doing together. The Bond is Back
Back in December we learned that a new James Bond film, titled Spectre, was going into production and a few days later we learned that the movie had begun filming. Today we get our first official look at the upcoming sequel film with the Twitter release of the first promo photo from Spectre along with a behind the scenes video that was shot on location in the Swiss Alps. James Bond: Spectre will be the 24th 007 film in the movie franchise and is set for release later this year. "Thank You, Jon"
Jon Stewart surprised the audience at today’s taping of The Daily Show as well as the world at large by announcing that after 16 years as host, he is leaving The Daily Show on Comedy Central. Stewart has yet to reveal a reason for his leaving but Comedy Central has already confirmed Stewart‘s decision to leave the show with an official statement on Twitter. According to the official statement, Jon will stay on with The Daily Show “until later this year” and then, he’s out. Wow. This is really a total shock. Read on to learn more. More »
The Web-Slinger on the WWW
It’s been a pretty big day for everyone’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man today. First, we learned that the beloved web-slinger will FINALLY appear in upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies now that a deal has been struck to share the comic book character between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios. And right now, we learn that Spidey has officially joined Twitter. The official Twitter profile @Spiderman was launched today and I’ll give you three guesses what its first tweet was all about. Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the Academy Awards in a couple of weeks and after last night’s Grammy Awards telecast, he has revealed plans that he and the Oscar producers plan to put in place to protect the Oscars telecast from a potential Kanye West stage invasion. It would appear that Iggy Azalea not only has terrible taste in hair’dos but she also has horrible taste in pizza … and now she’s paying the price for it. Iggy took to her official Twitter profile to publicly complain that her personal phone number was given out to family member fans by the person who delivered Papa John’s Pizza to her. After she ordered a pizza, apparently, she started getting random texts from people who are fans of her work … much to her displeasure. According to one text that she shared online, one of the messages came from the brother of her Papa John’s delivery person. Mess! More »

This week, InStyle magazine unveiled the cover of their new issue which features Scandal star Kerry Washington and almost immediately, critics made claims that Kerry had been made “unrecognizable” due to the lightening of her skin color. InStyle has issued an official statement regarding the controversy, claiming that they did not digitally alter Kerry‘s skin tone and blame photoshoot lightening for the lightning of her skin. Coming April 10
Ryan Gosling dusted off his long unused official Twitter account today to share with the world the official movie trailer for his directorial debut film Lost River which, as you may know, was filmed in Detroit, MI. We learned in December that the film will NOT be getting a wide theatrical release and will, instead, open in a handful of theaters and will be released on Video On Demand on April 10. Back in May of last year, an eerie first promo video was released but this new video is a much better trailer for the film. Check it out above and save the date, Lost River can be watched in your very own home in just a few months.
Music Edition #2
Back in November, our dear Britney Spears and some other people appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to read mean tweets that haters posted about them on Twitter. Last night, another round of mean tweets was read on JKL — which featured the return of Britney as well as the appearance of a host of other music stars reading mean tweets about them.
