Britney Spears Has A New Pet Dog Named Sara Beth

Princess Sara Beth, actually

Altho it has been many, many, many years since we’ve seen or heard about Britney Spears‘s pet chihuahua Bit Bit, I always assumed that the little pooch was passed on to another loving family and continues to live a life of happy dog bliss. Today we learn that Britney has brought another pet dog into her life, a dog she has named Princess Sara Beth (tho it’s possible the Princess part is merely a title and not part of her actual name). Britney shared a photo of her new little princess on her official Twitter profile and as you can see below, the little miss is literally sitting in the lap of luxury as the newest member of Britney‘s family. Meet Princess Sara Beth below. More »

Post-DUI Bust, John Stamos Thanks The Beverly Hills Police Department For Their Care

"Thanks to everyone for their love & support"

Yesterday we learned that John Stamos got busted for a DUI, and even though these stories are about a dime a dozen, it should be said that it’s always serious business when someone takes to the streets while under the influence. It may or may not have been surprising to also learn that, instead of being taken to jail, Stamos was taken by the Beverly Hills Police Department to a nearby hospital… which doesn’t reek of special treatment/privilege at all. Anyway, he’s now taking to Twitter to thank everyone for their supporting him through his DUI. Click inside for more!

On Being Deeply Entertained And Disturbed By Public Reactions To Rachel Dolezal

Yes, it's hilarious; NO this isn't like being trans

Yesterday was an unforgettable day in pop culture history. I’m not ashamed to say that Lebron James’ situation had a lot to do with that. But the Rachel Dolezal story dominated my heart, mind and soul. I woke up to the first story breaking on Twitter and literally fell asleep laughing at the onslaught of #AskRachel tweets. But today, looking back on all of the different reactions I saw, I have to also admit that some of my fun was ruined–ruined– by a lot of ignorant stuff I saw. First of all friends, Caitlyn Jenner and every other member of the trans community has nothing to do with this white foolishness so leave them out of it. If you don’t know the difference between gender identity and blackface or cultural appropriation (or plain ol’ insanity), you have like 8 books to read + this post. Click inside for more!

NOW We’re Hearing That Homer & Marge Simpson Are NOT Breaking Up On ‘The Simpsons’

Backtracking

Yesterday news that Homer and Marge Simpson will be breaking up on the upcoming season of The Simpsons swept the Internets after showrunner Al Jean was quoted by Variety as saying that the couple will be getting “legally separated” after 26 years of fictional animated marriage. After the story blew up, Jean backtracked significantly on Twitter to say that he never actually said that the couple were breaking up. A promo image of Bart Simpson writing Homer and Marge Are Not Breaking Up repeatedly on his classroom chalkboard was also released so, yeah, it sounds like Jean‘s comment about the couple’s “legal separation” caused a lot of unintended trouble. Who you gonna call? He's gonna answer.

Today we learn that actor Chris Hemsworth has been cast in the film as their male receptionist. As you may know, Annie Potts played the receptionist role of Janine in the original Ghostbusters films (both 1 and 2) back in the ’80s but for this gender-swapped remake, it will be Hemsworth sitting at the front desk at Ghostbusters HQ answering all the calls. Click below to read the tweet announcement from director Paul Feig about Chris Hemsworth‘s casting and get caught up on the latest Ghostbusters news. More »

"Today is a great day"
