Renée Zellweger made headlines last week when she showed up at a red carpet event with, what looked to be, a completely new face. Today we learn that director Kevin Smith is sporting a completely new face as well. Kevin is very well known by his facial hair but he shaved off his beard to reveal a completely new face underneath. Wow. Click below to see how unrecognizable Kevin Smith looks these days with a cleanly-shaven face. More »

'Twitter needs to step their game up'
I don’t write about Chrissy Teigen often, but every once in a while her tweets make the headlines, and I think this is a really interesting story. As many of you know, there was a shooting in Ottawa, Ontario, and Teigen took to Twitter to lament the fact that shootings are becoming every-day occurrences, specifically for Americans. Well, we know celebrities making comments about anything political (or with a political bent) can sometimes mean trouble. But, obviously, it shouldn’t mean that they receive death threats, which is exactly what happened to Teigen. Click inside for more.
Back in May we learned that Prince Harry became the senior most member of the British Royal Family to personally post a tweet on Twitter. Today we learn that Queen Elizabeth, II — the head of the British monarchy — has also personally posted her first tweet on Twitter. Her Royal Highness made an appearance at central London’s Science Museum earlier today and that is where she logged into her official Twitter profile and composed and posted her first Tweet ever. Click below to read the historic tweet. More »
Yes, yes, and yes.
So. About Renée Zellweger. SIIIIIiiigggghhhhhhh. I don’t have a lot of words, and I’m a little disappointed at how that story took the world by storm… so I was cracking up during this video of Russell Brand offering his take on the situation. I was happy to read the comments on this blog—I think most of us had positive things to say (aside from that initial bewilderment—which did make sense). Click inside to hear Russell Brand politely tear apart the celebrity gossip world, as only he can.

Kanye West‘s wife, and the mother of his only begotten child, celebrated her birthday yesterday and Yeezy couldn’t let the occasion pass without shouting out his ladylove on his official Twitter profile. Altho he waited until almost the last second, Kanye did wish his wife a Happy Birthday … followed by a sentiment so sweet that I felt compelled to share the tweet with all y’all. Yeezus is a romantic, y’all. Click below to read his birthday wish to his “dopest wife” on her special day. More »
NFL Teamless once again
Sigh. In early September, we learned that the Dallas Cowboys officially signed Michael Sam to join their practice squad after he was let go from the St. Louis Rams football team. Today we learn that the Cowboys have decided to cut Sam from their team as well. Michael, as you might be well aware, became the first openly gay player in the NFL earlier this year but now … he’s teamless again :( More »
... and she looks fabulous
Sarah Michelle Gellar felt it was time for a chance so on the advice of a good friend, she decided to cut off a lot of her hair. SMG has had short hair before but it’s been some time since we’ve seen her without her beautiful long locks. Sarah posted a few photos of her new ‘do on her official Twitter profile to show us just how great she looks with her new haircut. More »

"There are no GAY scenes"
Those of you who have been watching Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder this season (or have been watching Shondaland shows for years) know that Shonda Rhimes is very fond of showcasing storylines with gay characters. This season alone, Shonda‘s shows have pushed the boundaries of how sex scenes are shown on TV in new and exciting ways. As a result, Rhimes has been getting some negative feedback from homophobes on Twitter. Because she is amazing, Shonda responded to one of the haters on Twitter last night … and you MUST read her epic takedown below. More »
Back in May, Monica Lewinsky wrote a piece for Vanity Fair magazine about the affair she had with President Clinton while he was in office … today we learn that we may be hearing more from Monica soon because she has just joined Twitter. Here are her first tweets:

And this is her Twitter bio:
social activist. public speaker. contributor to vanity fair. knitter of things without sleeves.
It’ll be interesting to see what Monica tweets about from here on out … I’ll be following, will you?
