Caitlyn Jenner is finally responding to Ricky Gervais‘ Golden Globes jokes during his controversial monologue last Sunday! Basically, the reality star says that if it were up to her, he wouldn’t host another awards show again. Why? Because she thinks she should replace him instead. At a press conference on Thursday — to promote the second season of her docu-series I Am Cait — Caitlyn was asked to respond to Ricky’s jab at the Globes, in which he said “she didn’t do a lot for women drivers.” More »
Does she approve?
After all the controversy surrounding Harry Potter and the Cursed Child — and their casting of a black Hermione Granger — Emma Watson has finally weighed in on the matter! Emma, who famously played Hermione in the eight Harry Potter films, shared her excitement on Twitter for actress Noma Dumezweni, who will portray the iconic role in the upcoming stage play. Some fans were hesitant and upset about the fact that the new Hermione is going to be black, but most fans were supportive, including the biggest one of all: J.K. Rowling. More »
Ever since news of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child‘s cast broke earlier this morning there’s been a bit of a debate brewing online about one character: Hermione Granger. Because she’s depicted as Caucasian in the eight Harry Potter movies, people are not thrilled that they chose a black actress to portray the adult Hermione. Well, as J.K. Rowling points out herself, her skin color is never specified in the books. Let’s just saying Rowling is beyond happy that Noma Dumezweni is the new Hermione Granger! More »

Plus, the complete list of nominees for the 2016 Golden Globes!
The Golden Globes Twitter account made the mistake of confusing America Ferrera with Gina Rodriguez during the nominations announcement ceremony. Ouch! America was one of four presenters for this morning’s Golden Globes nominations announcements (which we have below) and Gina was nominated for an award for her role in Jane the Virgin. Well, apparently someone managing the Golden Globes’ social media was having an embarrassingly hard time telling the two actresses apart! More »
Star Wars holiday album coming soon...we hope!
How cute is this!? Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac sang a holiday song together and we literally cannot stop watching it. During a Star Wars Twitter takeover Friday, a fan asked Star Wars: The Force Awaken stars if the two could “duet sometime.” Of course, the duo obliged with an adorable rendition of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
The claws are out! Well they kinda are. Iggy Azalea took to Twitter to address Erykah Badu‘s diss during the Soul Train Awards over the weekend. In case you missed it, during her opening monologue, Badu pretended to answer her phone and said: “Who is this? Oh Iggy Azalea, hey! No, no, no, no, you can come ’cause what you do definitely is not rap.” Naturally, the “Pretty Girls” singer would be offended. Wouldn’t you? Especially after the awful year she’s had, this was definitely a low blow. More »

If this sounds vaguely familiar, it’s because it was the plot of the 2009 movie Fanboys. But this time, it’s real life. One Star Wars fan is hoping to see Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens before it’s actual release date, because he doesn’t know if he’ll make it to the release date. 32-year-old Daniel Fleetwood “is suffering from a connective tissue cancer called spindle cell sarcoma” and was given only two months to live back in July. Daniel says he’s been a Star Wars fan since he was 8 or 9, and as he told Houston’s KPRC-TV, “Judging by how progressive the disease has gotten in the past two months, I really don’t think that I’ll be able to make it.” Luckily, Daniel has got some major Force power on his side.
