Last month we learned that the new Batman prequel series Gotham has cast Benjamin McKenzie in the lead role of Detective Jim Gordon and Jada Pinkett-Smith as the villainous bad guy Fish Mooney. Today we learn that the series has cast the pre-teen versions of Bruce Wayne (who grows up to become Batman) and Selina Kyle (who grows up to become Catwoman). Actors David Mazouz (who starred alongside Kiefer Sutherland in the Fox series Touch) and Camren Bicondova (a newcomer to Hollywood) will play the young versions of the iconic characters of Batman and Catwoman. Because this is a prequel series, the focus will NOT be on Batman … but any prequel series that is set in Gotham City must feature, at least in some way, the Bat and Cat characters that we love so much. Together on TV Again
Last week we learned the happy news that longtime couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher finally got themselves engaged to be married and today we learn that the enfianced couple are now planning to work together professionally. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Mila will guest star on an upcoming episode of Ashton Kutcher‘s CBS TV series Two and a Half Men. I guess the couple that works together, stays together. As you may know, Mila and Ashton were castmates many moons ago when they both starred on the Fox series That 70′s Show, so they do have some experience working together on TV. Read on for more deets about Mila‘s guest role on Ashton‘s show. More »

Early last week I decided that it was time for me to catch up with the rest of the world and watch the award winning AMC series Breaking Bad, which is available in full for viewing on Netflix. Breaking Bad was one of those shows that I didn’t get into when it first debuted and then as the seasons progressed, I fell too far behind to catch up. When the final season was airing, I saw that everyone was freaking out about the show and I decided to wait until the series was over and people stopped talking about it to watch the show spoiler free. I am very happy to relay that I managed to watch all 5 seasons of Breaking Bad in just about a week’s time and did so without having anything spoiled for me. I am also very happy to relay that I loved this series entirely! I’m so glad I finally made the time to watch it. More »

But where are the Stars?
The cast of the 18th season of Dancing with the Stars was revealed this morning and at first look, it would appear that DWTS is pretty light on actual stars. The season 18 cast is comprised of Olympic athletes, reality TV stars, former child stars and Billy Dee Williams (who, IMHO, is the most famous person on the cast). A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that DWTS has decided to replace longtime host Brooke Burke-Charvet with new host Erin Andrews, so the show is going thru a bit of a shake-up in an attempt to win more viewers. But, with a cast like this … I can’t say that I, in particular, am inspired to watch the new season of the show. Click below to find out which “stars” will be dancing on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. More »
Idina Menzel paid a visit to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to perform her Academy Award-winning song Let It Go from the Academy Award-winning animated film Frozen and as you can see in the video embedded above, she did so with a little backup from Jimmy and The Roots. Altogether, this gang of musicians performed the song while playing classroom instruments (a bit that Jimmy carried over from his days as host of Late Night) and gave the tune new life. Idina sang the Hell out of the song, as she is wont to do, while Jimmy and The Roots provided the instrumentation. Watch the performance above but you may want to turn down your volume, when Idina belts out those big notes, she really belts them out. Goooood morning!

OMG! CANCEL ALL YOUR PLANS FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY NIGHT (or at the very least, make sure you set your DVRs) because the one and ONLY Prince will be taking over The Arsenio Hall Show next week! Prince, who has been spending some time in the UK performing a string of concerts there in the past few weeks, will be back in the US to make an appearance on Arsenio next Wednesday night. You may recall that earlier this month, Prince made a guest appearance on the Fox TV series New Girl so it looks like his Purpleness just can’t get enough of appearing on network television. Click the video embedded above to watch the announcement that was made on The Arsenio Hall Show last night about Prince‘s appearance on the show. YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS. Trust me.

She’s baaaaaack! I’m referring both to myself (LOL) and Olivia friggen Pope. Now, as most of you know by now I’ve been on a bit of a break from PITNB, but I’ve been puttin’ in some serious werk. February 2014 shall go down in history as the month I took my Gladiator-hood to a whole ‘nother level. Last time I checked in I told y’all I interviewed Darby Stanchfield, who plays Abby on Scandal. That interview will be on Paste Magazine next week, and this week my interview with Guillermo Díaz went live and the results were INSANE. Friends, Gladiators, PITNBrs, please click inside so we can recap last night’s Scandal spring premiere and talk about that one time Shonda Rhimes read something I wrote. AGhhhhh!

Last month we learned that Lindsay Lohan‘s upcoming docu-series Lindsay, which will air on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network, will be premiering on March 9. Now that we are just about a week away from the series debut, we are starting to see some tiny bit of promo for the show. Lindsay posted a small collection of promo images for Lindsay on her official Instagram profile, reminding us all to tune in and watch her docu-series debut in just a few days … which is good for her because, to be honest, I had completely forgotten all about the damn show was even coming out.
