Earlier in the week we learned the happy news that funnylady Kristen Wiig was making her return to Saturday Night Live as host this weekend and she did just that last night. As much as I love me some Kristen Wiig, the show was pretty hit or miss for me. Kristen brought back some of her most beloved SNL characters as well as her BFF and former SNL castmate Maya Rudolph (who is ETERNALLY PREGNANT!!!!) and delivered 3 very solid skit performances, I thought. Yesterday we learned the THRILLING news that Fox is considering bringing back the action series 24 for a “limited” series run next season. At the time, I wasn’t at all sure what they meant by a “limited” series because, as yet, the network has not officially confirmed this news. Entertainment Weekly magazine claims to have the scoop on what Fox is planning for the return of 24 and according to them, the show’s “limited” run will be confined to just 13 episodes. HMMM. ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Releases An Official Promo Photo As ABC Officially Picks Up The Series

We learned yesterday, after a promo video “leaked online”, that ABC reportedly picked up the new Joss Whedon TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for the coming TV season … but ABC would not officially confirm the news. Late yesterday, tho, the good news came that DUH, of course ABC picked up the show officially … and it’s coming our way this Fall. In celebration of the official news, a first cast promo photo from the show was released on the new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Twitter profile and a cute celebratory Vine video from the Whedon family was also released. It’s a happy day for Whedonites!!! More »

We are still MANY months away from the season 4 premiere of The Walking Dead on AMC but the network wants us to know that they have begun filming production on the upcoming new season of the show and they want to let us know that THE ZOMBIES ARE STILL AROUND. ABC Reportedly Picks Up ‘Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ As A Promo Video For The Show Leaks To The Internets

Back in February we learned that Joss Whedon successfully wrapped production of the pilot episode of his new TV series based on Marvel Comics‘s S.H.I.E.L.D. characters. Back in April, we learned that the series selected the name Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as its title (tho, the title is still subject to change) and a plot description for the show was revealed. Yesterday, a whole bunch of TV shows got the good/bad news that they were/were not picked up for the coming TV season. ABC has NOT YET confirmed that this S.H.I.E.L.D. series has been officially picked up … but a promo video for the show did leak its way online, leading PRETTY MUCH EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON EARTH to believe that the show will, indeed, get picked up for a series run. The CW Renews ‘The Carrie Diaries’ For Season 2

Earlier this year I fell IN LOVE with the prequel series The Carrie Diaries which tells the story of young Carrie Bradshaw before she grows up and stars in Sex and the City. It was touch and go for the past month or so as The CW decided whether or not it was going to renew the series for a second season. Today we learn the amazing news that The Carrie Diaries has been picked up for season 2 so … rejoice! We have a whole new season of The Carrie Diaries to look forward to! Yay!! More »

Fox Considers Bringing ’24′ Back To TV

Yesterday afternoon a LOT of news came out concerning which TV shows got renewed for next season and which TV shows did not get renewed … but among the melee of happy/sad news came the report that Fox is considering bringing the AMAZING series 24 back to TV! Yes, folks, 24 may be back on the air very soon. At this point, nothing has been decided officially … but according to Deadline, Kiefer Sutherland has been approached to reprise his role as Jack Bauer … if he signs on, 24 will likely come back as a “limited series”. In short, OMG! 24 MIGHT BE COMING BACK TO TV!!!!!!! More »

Yesterday we got to see a small preview of our dear Britney Spears in the upcoming new issue of Shape magazine and today … we get to see a LOT more of our girl in the mag. Entertainment Tonight aired a minute long preview of Britney‘s issue of Shape magazine and as you can see below, they gave us quite a look at what is featured inside the mag. Additionally, this new ET segment also spills some deets on Britney‘s upcoming concert residency in Las Vegas, NV. We now know when her residency will begin and how long it will last.
