Amy Winehouse Stumbles Into The New Year

Trainwreck Amy Winehouse spent the last moments of 2009 pretty much the same she spent most of the last 3 years of her life … in a dazed haze of messy confusion. Here are a few tragic-looking photos of Amy doing what she does best as the last hours of 2009 slipped away and she stumbled towards 2010:

She famously refused to go to rehab, but it seems Amy Winehouse could do with a few days’ rest. The Grammy award-winning singer looked as though she had taken getting into the festive spirit a step too far after a night out in Camden. Winehouse, 26, emerged worse-for-wear from the North London pub with the assistance of a friend on Wednesday. Wearing a fur-lined brown jacket and a red Fred Perry T-shirt – as well as her trademark thick black eyeliner and beehive hair style – Winehouse appeared bedraggled as the evening’s antics seemed to take their toll. And it also seems Winehouse, rumoured to be ‘remarrying’ ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, experienced a make-up malfunction, revealing a large circle of cover-up above her top lip. Winehouse was rumoured to have spent New Year’s Eve in hospital after collapsing. However, her representatives have strongly denied this, adding: ‘It’s just not true. She won’t be checking into hospital, she has no need to.’ Winehouse, who is due to appear in court over assault charges on January 20, said she has been hard at work over the festive period.

I would bet good money that Amy Winehouse has NO IDEA what year it is so I doubt this messy outing had anything really to do with celebrating New Year’s Eve. I’m constantly amazed that she continues to blather her way from day to day in a seemingly conscious state. The woman is the epitome of messiness and it’s a wonder she is still able to be stumble thru at all. I sincerely hope that 2010 is not a repeat performance of her previous years because I doubt she’ll be able to keep up this kind of lifestyle for very much longer. Ugh.

Courtney Love Loses Custody Of Daughter Frances Bean

Kurt Cobain's mother and sister are now her legal guardians

Welp … it was inevitable, I suppose. Courtney Love has just lost primary custody of her only child Frances Bean Cobain. Not all of the details have been made available just yet (ie. why she was taken to court in the first place) but TMZ is reporting that C. Love has been determined incapable of caring for her daughter. The ruling judge has named Kurt Cobain‘s mother and sister as Frances‘s legal guardians effective immediately:


Courtney Love no longer has legal control of her daughter. TMZ has learned a legal guardian has been appointed to care for 17-year-old Frances Bean Cobain. Guardianships of this nature are frequently established when the parent is not capable of taking care of their children. The guardians appointed by the court are Wendy O’Connor, Kurt Cobain’s mom, and Kimberly Dawn Cobain, Kurt’s sister. The guardianship was established on Friday. Courtney Love was not in court. The guardianship is for both Frances Bean personally and her financial well-being. The guardians do not have power over the trust established after Kurt Cobain’s death. The guardianship was established after a fairly long period of unstable conduct by Courtney Love. The court proceedings, however, are sealed.

Courtney Love Posts A Crazy New Rant On Facebook

Welp … she’s at it again. There used to be a time when Courtney Love would post crazy missives on her official My Space profile blog, then she took her craziness to the frantic world of Twitter … now, she’s taken to posting crazy rants on Facebook cuz the girl can’t help herself. In her latest post to the world, C. Love goes off on her ex-boyfriend Edward Norton and makes a serious allegation against Jamie Spears, Britney Spears‘s father. Yes folks, THIS is how Courtney Love celebrates Thanksgiving:


Though she abandoned Twitter in a Miley Cyrus-led exodus, Courtney Love is now posting her barely-decipherable public missives at her Facebook fanpage. You’d be forgiven if you missed the memo about her new online home, but after today, we’re thinking a lot more people will know about it — especially the lawyers for Edward Norton and Britney Spears. Love has begun hurling accusations at both celebrities, and it isn’t pretty. First up is ex Edward Norton, who Love essentially accuses of mishandling the finances of Kim Cobain, Kurt’s sister:

More incendiary, though, are Love’s anecdotes about Spears:

britneys dad molested her , imagine the father that molested you owning you for slavery while your forced to sing songs picked for thier sexual content every night, insane right? i have it on First had authority, and fight as hard as she is and does she still didnt pull that card, its a pride thing i can relate to, However they want to play dirty, lets go, Im SO not affraid of the little trolls who hit this when i was fucked up who are called lawyers. lets GO.

Good thing she isn’t afraid of them, as she might be hearing from them soon.

OY! I suppose I should be thankful that C. Love is back to her trainwreck ways but all of this is just too sad to get any enjoyment out of. Courtney herself thinks that everything is A-OK, nothing at all the matter. She also writes:

btw i am clean and sober and have been for almost 6 years everyone knows that but some blogging assed idiots that cannot accept it, sorry, and my “rants” other than some spelling idiotic mistakes are BRILLIANTLY coherent unless your being a dickweed i made the mistake of googling myself,.

What a mess … here’s hoping she straightens herself out soon … if this is what she sounds like when she’s “clean and sober” then she’s worse off than I feared :(

Last night Bravo TV aired part 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special and not only were we made privy to some pretty horrifying information …


ie. that NeNe Leakes‘s main gay Dwight Eubanks confessed to getting a penile enlargement implant!!! (Um, Yikes!) but we were also made to bear witness to an even more horrifying live performance … which I now want to share with all y’all. Here is Real Housewife Kim Zolciak “performing” her “hit” song Tardy for the Party “live” on last night’s Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special:


Yes, I think the looks on the faces of the other Atltanta Housewives during Kim‘s performance says it all … but to quote Mr. Penile Implant Dwight Eubanks, How dreadful! The song may be catchy but … OY! this performance is a hot mess … don’tcha think?

Michael Lohan Releases Recorded Phone Calls With Dina Lohan

Yesterday we learned that Michael Lohan, exploitative father of Lindsay Lohan and ex-husband of Dina Lohan, released an audio recording of a secretly taped phone conversation that he had with his daughter in order to expose her distraught depression, he says, for her own good. Today, Daddy Lohan releases another audio recording but this time of a conversation with his ex-wife Dina:


In an explosive recorded audio conversation obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, Dina Lohan reveals her anguish over a failed attempt to get her daughter Lindsay Lohan into rehab and what she calls the “mess” that resulted from trying to give her an intervention. The taped phone call, made in September of 2008, is between Dina and Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan. “You don’t even know what I’d go through trying to get her into, like, rehab and stuff,” Dina is heard telling Michael. “She’d like, punch me in the face, kick me out of the car…like you don’t know the (expletive) I went through trying to get her an intervention by myself. It was very difficult.” Dina continues, “She’s really sad and really hurt and really…despondent. I told her not to go to L.A. at 18…she did. I couldn’t leave these other three (Dina’s three other kids with Michael) to go get her and it was, like, a mess.” Michael Lohan has publically claimed his concern for Lindsay’s life and that she has an addiction to prescription pills and that ex-wife Dina is lying about his intentions to the press. On Wednesday, RadarOnline.com released a heart wrenching audio tape of a distraught and hysterical Lindsay, sobbing to her father about her life. The recording sparked immediate controversy about why Lohan would publically disclose something so private about his daughter. In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Lohan says he only released the personal audio tapes because he’s afraid for his daughter’s life, and he’s tired of being targeted as the bad guy. “I admit, I’m being a bit selfish in releasing the tapes,” he told us. “But I’m tired of being lied about. I’m tired of Dina and others making me out to be someone I’m not, so now I’m going to prove to the world who the real liars are.”

I understand Michael Lohan plans to release more recorded phone conversations out of “concern” for his daughter … I guess he feels that by hurting and publicly embarrassing Lindsay as much as he can, she will run to his waiting arms so that he can have access and mebbe control of her person (and finances?). In my opinion, his decision to publicly release these recordings only goes further in exposing him for the kind of person that he truly is. Lindsay herself posted a series of messages on her official Twitter profile to give her opinion on her father’s actions. If this attempt to care for this daughter can teach us anything, it is that Michael Lohan truly is a toxic parrot … just like NeNe Leakes says he is.

Michael Lohan Releases Recorded Phone Calls With Lindsay Lohan

Michael Lohan, who in my opinion is a gross opportunist who will do anything to get attention for himself, has released an audio recording of a taped phone conversation with his daughter Lindsay Lohan for online streaming on RadarOnline. Daddy Lohan claims this recording, the first in a series he secretly taped presumably without Lindsay‘s knowledge, is proof that his daughter desperately needs his help. To me, it’s proof that Lindsay needs to stop calling her father:


It’s a shocking side of actress Lindsay Lohan we’ve never heard or seen before — three minutes of a recorded audio tape revealing her heart-wrenching and desperate plea for help. The tape, obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, is the first of several which were recorded from phone calls Lindsay and her mom Dina made to Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan. Lindsay’s father has been publicly saying that she needs help and is in a fragile state. He released this tape in an attempt to prove his point and to disprove those around Lindsay who are saying she’s fine. The tape reveals a tortured and inconsolable Lindsay. At times she wails and sobs uncontrollably— at others, she whimpers like a child as she complains about problems with her family and ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson. “Mommy says that I’m worse than you were,” Lindsay can be heard crying to her dad. “And she’s defending…She doesn’t back me…she doesn’t stand by me.” Lindsay continues, “No one cares about me. They don’t, by the way. It’s about how they feel, not how I feel. It’s not about me. It’s never been about me, unless I fight for it.”

While I am solidly on Team Lindsay here, I have to admit that it is very sad to hear her in such a desperate state. Who knows what caused this breakdown but taken out of context, it could’ve come from any situation. While I agree that Lindsay could benefit greatly from the help, love and care of loved ones, I absolutely do NOT believe that “someone” should be Michael Lohan. He has proved time and time again that he will do anything to exploit his family for his own personal gain. If you are so inclined, you can hear the entire recording HERE. Say what you will about L. Lo, it’s a bit heartbreaking to hear her in this state. It’s even more disheartening to think that her father is very likely to cause for much of her desperation.

Amy Winehouse Proudly Shows Off Her New Fake Boobs

Last week, Amy Winehouse‘s father Mitch was quoted as calling Amy‘s newly enlarged breasts “fantastic” and today Amy wants YOU to judge their “fantasticness” for yourselves. Ms. Winehouse made a messy appearance at the Q Awards in the UK last night but it was her behavior after the awards show that really got all the attention. Amy spilled out onto the streets of London and spilled out of her top to put her ample new plastic breasts on very public display … and how!


She’s said to be offering help and guidance to 13-year-old Dionne Bromfield in her role as a godmother. So presumably this is Amy Winehouse’s way of showing the teenage singer how to get yourself noticed. Winehouse wore the skimpiest of cocktail dresses to display her recent breast enlargement when she turned up with Dionne for the Q Awards yesterday. By 8pm, having earlier made a change into a corset top, the singer’s asset had popped entirely out of the ensemble. It was a predictable turn of events, with her clothes seemingly slipping further down her body as the night went on. Thankfully, Dionne had gone home at the point of exposition leaving Amy to disgrace herself in front of her manager and waiting photographers … Winehouse single-handedly brought the Q Awards to a halt in front of stunned guests as she failed to arrive on time for her presenting duties. The troubled star was due to hand over the prize for the most inspirational artist alongside reggae singer Don Letts. But Letts was forced back into his seat while embarrassed host Al Murray frantically tried to fill time and organisers searched for the singer. After several minutes Letts was called back to the stage to present the award to band The Specials with no sign of Winehouse. Midway through The Specials’ acceptance speech, Winehouse finally arrived, picking her way through the audience and clambering on stage – only to be given a furious talking to by an angry Letts.

Ye gods, the woman is a mess … again. Someone needs to ship her back to the isle of St. Lucia where she can seemingly do no harm to herself or anyone else. Why she felt the need to get giant silicone breasts is anyone’s guess … if Amy Winehouse really thinks she is going to be a sex symbol now that she’s got ginormous fake boobs she is crazier than I thought. Bobby Brown Performs In Times Square

Bobby Brown, former popstar and husband of Whitney Houston, managed to give an impromptu live performance in Times Square, NYC this week at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill … it’s unclear if Bobby was booked to play an actual concert at the venue or if the brokeass couldn’t pay his bill and had to do something to pay his tab but there he was … on stage … singin’. Here are a few pics:


Every time I see Bobby huffin’ and puffin’ on stage, trying to get thru a live performance, it always looks to me like he is on the brink of collapse. His rampant drug use is legendary so I don’t believe he is in the best shape physically … now that he’s not able to ride Whitney‘s coattails (nor does he have access to her riches) it looks like he’ll do any and everything he can to make a buck. At least he’s workin’ … now mebbe he’ll be able to keep up with his child support payments and can keep his ass out of jail.

‘The Beautiful Life: TBL’ Gets Canceled

Sad news for fans of Ashton Kutcher‘s new primetime drama The Beautiful Life: TBL … all 3 of you. The CW has decided to cancel the series after airing only 2 eps. Plagued by poor ratings from the start, the drama which stars Mischa Barton didn’t really have a chance. And so, we raise our plastic utensils and give a hearty Peace the Spork Out to The Beautiful Life: TBL:


The new fall season has claimed its first casualty with the cancellation of “The Beautiful Life: TBL”. Although 13 episodes have been ordered for the first season, The CW on Friday, September 25 confirmed that it has opted to pull the plug on the Ashton Kutcher-produced drama series after airing only two episodes. The show chronicling the lives of young models in the fast lane has been pulled off the schedule effective immediately. Production of the show has been shut down. Despite the fact that the series has been filmed to its seventh episode, the network has no plans to air any of the remaining finished episodes. The cancellation news didn’t come in as a shock since “Beautiful Life” had a poor rating right from the start. The September 16 premiere only managed to draw in 1.4 million viewers, and this Wednesday, September 23, episode barely scraped above 1 million viewers. To make it worse, the latter one generated a 0.5 rating in the adult demo. There is yet word on what will fill the 9 P.M. Wednesday time period. Announcement for a replacement is expected to come from The CW at least by Monday, September 28. Rumor has it, the network, which recently picked up “Fly Girls” and a Tinsley Mortimer docusoap, may replace it with reruns of “Melrose Place”.

Actually, The CW sent out a press release late yesterday announcing that “encores” of new Melrose Place eps that air on Tuesday night will reair on Wednesday nights, in the time slot that was allotted for TBL. To be honest, I never watched the show so I don’t know if it sucked or not personally … but I haven’t read a good thing about it. HMMM … I wonder if Mischa, who has been a bit of trainwreck this Summer knows about the cancellation yet. Amy Winehouse Is A Spitter, Attacks A Schoolchild

It’s been a little while since we’ve seen Amy Winehouse here on the blog so I thought we might check in with our fave British trainwreck and see what she is up to. It turns out that she was spotted in Barnet (outside of North London in the UK) confronting an alleged bully who had been harassing her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield … did I mention this alleged bully is a young schoolgirl? It turns out that Amy got so heated when confronting this young girl, she started berating her … and even SPIT on the little girl. Oh Amy … why you so crazy?


I understand that after Amy assaulted this young girl with her screams and her saliva, she started a dust-up with some of her goddaughter’s schoolmates as well … and had to be restrained by a concerned bystander. After she calmed down, Amy then signed autographs and was persuaded to leave the premises. How this woman is still able to walk the streets freely is beyond me but … she’s a pistol, that Amy Winehouse. I suggest that the Southgate School in Barnet get themselves some better security … you never know when Amy might attack again.
