After giving birth to her first born child David Daniel back in August, Jennifer Hudson gave us our first look at her newborn baby boy in the pages of People magazine in early October. Yesterday, J. Hud paid a visit to The Oprah Winfrey Show and she brought along a couple new photos of little David and shared some cute plans for the upcoming holiday season:

Most new mothers will take any opportunity to show off photographs of their bundle of joy. And Jennifer Hudson was certainly no exception as she proudly shared her snaps of her baby boy David with Oprah Winfrey. Speaking to the Queen of Chat on her show yesterday, the singer cooed over recent photos of her four-month-old son and revealed that she is planning to make his first Christmas a special one. She said: ‘I’m going to go crazy. He’s very aware but he’s so young and it’s his first Christmas, so you have to go all-out.’ And she said she would like to get him his own Santa and toy store, and added: ‘I kind of want to get him his own Santa Claus and just have like a toy store in the house, full of things.’ Hudson, 28, gave birth to David Daniel – named after his father, Jennifer’s fiancée David Otunga – in August this year … Hudson has been a regular guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and gave the chat show host her first interview since the family murders in February this year. On yesterday’s show, after gushing about baby David to Oprah and her other guests, country music duo, Sugarland, she joined the pair on stage for a rendition of the Christmas carol, Silent Night.

What a little cutie … and he’s gotten so big since we saw him last. While I don’t really understand the need to go all crazy for baby’s first Xmas (especially considering he prolly won’t know what the hell is going on), I can imagine that a new mom’s excitement might feel the need to go all out. As you may recall, Heidi Klum and hubby Seal welcomed the birth of their baby girl Lou Sulola last month but up until now the family has kept the little darling under wraps. HeidiKlum.com and Seal.com have just been updated with a whole slew of new family photos that FINALLY introduce little Lou to the world:

Heidi Klum has debuted new daughter Lou to the world, and just like her supermodel mother, the camera already loves her. The Victoria’s Secret star and singer husband Seal today released the first pictures of their adorable seven-week-old on their official websites. Little Lou Sulola is seen resting gently on her mother’s chest and in another frame, the newborn sleeps peacefully on Heidi’s tummy while surround by her siblings Johan, 2, Henry, 4, and Leni, 5. Another intimate black and white portrait shows Lou in the arms of her doting father. The photographs were posted along with Seal’s song A Fathers Way, an emotional ode to his family. A statement on Heidi’s website read: ‘She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years. ‘From the moment she looked into both of our eyes it was endless love at first sight.’

Back in September we learned that Sarah Michelle Gellar and hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr. welcomed the birth of their first child — a baby girl they named Charlotte Grace. Today we get our FIRST LOOK at their precious babygirl as she makes her worldwide debut in the pages of People magazine:

Oh baby … look at that beautiful face! Isn’t she precious? Now, for some reason, People chose not to put their interview with SMG and hubby FPJ online … but in the mag, SMG reveals that she went into labor while she was at the gym! At first, she didn’t believe that she was actually going into labor and FPJ reveals that she initially thought the rumble in her belly was from the spicy dinner she ate the night before :) SMG confesses that she decided to get an epidural for her delivery and enjoyed a totally pain-free birth … FPJ adds that after 3 pushes, Charlotte Grace came into the world. The couple also reveal that the birth of their child has equalized them immensely … they are now so focused on taking care of their baby girl that all other frantic stuff in their lives is now normalized and, as a result, better handled. Yesterday we learned that Jude Law’s babymama, Samantha Burke, worked out a deal to sell the first baby photos of their lovechild, Sophia Lee, to Hello! magazine when we saw a photo of Burke and baby arriving at the site of their photoshoot last week. Well, it turns out that Hello! magazine works FAST when it comes to publishing celebrity baby photos cuz the magazine has already been published and is ready to hit newsstands. Here is our FIRST LOOK at the baby borne of Jude Law and Samantha Burke’s love tryst which took place earlier this year:

Samantha Burke has shown off five-week-old Sophia Lee, her daughter by actor Jude Law, for the first time. The glowing 25-year-old brunette posed for a glossy photoshoot at her Florida home for Hello! magazine, with her baby, who was born weighing just 5lb 12oz after mother Samantha suffered a 25-hour labour. But despite DNA results proving the actor is the father of Burke’s child following a brief relationship, she revealed he has not yet visited his fourth child. Jude is currently wowing audiences on New York’s Broadway with his spellbinding performance in Hamlet. But it seems that his first glimpse of the child he has confirmed he is the father of will come at the same time as the rest of the world. Miss Burke, who reportedly earned £185,000 for the photoshoot, said: ‘She’s already got such a great personality. I think he’ll fall in love with her when he sees her.’ Describing Sophia, Samantha said she looks more like her famous father, and is already showing signs of sharing his mannerisms. ‘Her features are more like Jude’s. She has his chin and nose, and she does a little pout that I notice that he’s done before. I think her eyes are more like mine, though. ‘You can’t always tell when they’re so young but they don’t have that big, glassy look that his do – mine are a little smaller and more like hers.’ In a revealing interview, Miss Burke tells how she met Jude at a club in New York, and that the devoted father of three children – Rafferty, 13, Iris, nine, and Rudy, seven with ex-wife Sadie Frost – has not yet travelled to meet Sophia. ‘There are no plans for it to happen at the moment, but I know he’s busy.’ Asked if she had received any presents from Jude, who demanded a DNA test a few months ago, the former model admitted: ‘No nothing.’ She also revealed her hopes for her daughter’s relationship with the actor, who will soon be seen in Guy Ritchie’s film Sherlock Holmes. She said: ‘I hope for him to be just as good as he is to his three children by Sadie Frost. He’s a great father to his three kids. She’s his daughter and I believe he’ll come through. I mean once you see her face, how can you deny it?’ She also denied claims that she is a ‘gold-digger’, insisting: ‘It really hurt. I have never dated a guy for money. All my ex-boyfriends were just normal guys.’ A spokesman for Law acknowledged the pregnancy in a statement released in July after reports surfaced in the media that Burke was expecting. ‘Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year,’ the actor’s representative said. ‘Mr Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.’

There ain’t no denying that little Sophia Lee is a precious and beautiful baby. Whatever the circumstances of her conception, she is an adorable little miracle and should be treated as such. While I can’t say that I necessarily blame mama Burke for selling the photos to Hello! magazine, I do hope that she is smart with the money and socks it away for her daughter should papa Jude Law not step up and care for this child like he does for his other children. It’s really crappy for this innocent little girl that her famous father seems to want nothing to do with her … like it’s her fault :( In the end, I wish everyone involved the best of luck … this is not an ideal situation by any means. Sophia Lee is just the cutest little thing … may she live a long and happy life full of LOVE from her family. People magazine brings us our FIRST LOOK at the newest member of the Richie-Madden family today … Sparrow James Midnight (who was born last month) and his mom Nicole Richie are featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of People … check out their adorable coverphoto:

Six weeks after welcoming their first son, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden – along with their 21-month-old daughter Harlow – are showing off the latest addition to their family, Sparrow James Midnight Madden. “I couldn’t be happier,” Richie tells PEOPLE. “The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I’m right where I belong.” In an interview at their home in Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles, Richie, 28, and Madden, 30, her boyfriend and front man of the band Good Charlotte, say they are deprived of sleep, but grateful their daughter Harlow is now fawning over a baby brother. “I’m glad I had a girl before I had a boy,” says Richie. “She just loves him so much.” Adds the children’s proud papa, “She’s very gentle with him.”

A couple weeks ago we learned that Matthew McConaughey got himself a new pet, a breed of bird called Sun Conure, and today we see that Matty’s little birdy friend is still hangin’ around:

Um … I have to admit that I really love Matthew with his bird. It’s such an odd thing to see a man and his bird just out in public … you can understand how sometimes that could be off-putting. As far as celeb pets go, I think McConaughey’s Sun Conure is my new fave.

In August we learned that Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson gave birth to her first child borne of her union with fiancée and former VH1 reality TV star David Otunga (known as Punk on the show I Love New York) … and today we get our first look at the little dude. Here is a beautiful photo of mama J. Hud and her son David Daniel in the pages of the new issue of People magazine:

Motherhood definitely seems to agree with Jennifer Hudson, who gave birth to her first child, David – named after her fiancé, David Otunga – on Aug. 10. “I love being nurturing and caring because I love to see other people happy,” says Hudson. “Who better to devote my time to than my own child?” From singing lullabies (“He can be crying at the top of his lungs and just turn off like a switch”) to frequent bottle-feedings (“I’ve never seen a baby eat like he does!”), the singer (who chose not to address the tragic loss of her family members last October) offers PEOPLE an intimate look into her new life as a mom.

Would you be supportive if he wants to pursue a career in entertainment?
“We’ll definitely encourage education. His father is an education fanatic so we definitely want him to get an education and go to school. My mom always said, ‘Whatever you want to do, I’ll support you as long as you’re happy.’ So I will do the same.”

He is so precious … mother and son look so adorably cute!! J. Hud did a great job of keeping her pregnancy underwraps, we didn’t know for sure she was pregs until about 2 months before her due date. With all the heartbreaking tragedy that Jennifer endured last year, I’m so happy to know that she and her growing family are doing fine. Little David Daniel is a darling … congrats again, J. Hud!!
