Remember earlier this month when we learned that cable sports network ESPN aired a celebratory same-sex kiss between a champion professional bowler and his husband? Well, today we learn that Sports Illustrated, THE most popular sports magazine, has also ventured into the realm of the celebration of gay kissing. In the new issue of SI, a photo is featured that shows a group of San Francisco 49ers fans celebrating the teams NFC championship win … and in the photo, two gay fans are seen sharing a sweet kiss. While this may sound like no big deal to some, it should be noted that sports media has a history of mocking gay love … so this celebration is a huge step in the right direction :D Click below to see this really cute photo. Plus-- Do We Have The Destiny's Child Set List As Well?
As we all know, Beyoncé is gearing up for her performance at Super Bowl XLVII… and so are we. As if Beyoncé‘s performance wasn’t reason enough to tune in, we also learned a little while back that Destiny’s Child will be reuniting on stage as well… which is insane, and we are not worthy! Recently, Bey took to Instagram to share some pictures of herself in rehearsal, and things are looking pretty hot. Also, Us Magazine claims to have the coveted set list for the Destiny’s Child performance. Click inside for more!
That-Ish-Cray Of The Day
Okay; this is hilarious. We’ve seen the interview. We’ve seen the bullshizz tears. And now there’s a movie in the works. But I think the only thing “cool” to come out of the Lance Armstrong doping scandal is this news about a library in Sydney, Australia. Apparently, someone posted a notice in the library informing everyone that all the Lance Armstrong books would henceforth and forever more be located in the Fiction section. LMAO. Now apparently, this was just a joke and the library is now looking into who put up the sign… but it’s still so funny! Click inside to check out the hilarious note.

Back in November, champion bowler Scott Norton defeated Jason Belmonte in the 2012 PBA Chameleon Championship in Las Vegas, NV to become champion for the second time in his career. This news, quite honestly, isn’t at all of interest to me and, I suspect, to many of you. BUT, the championship match aired for the first time on ESPN this past Sunday and caught my eye (and the eye of many others) because at the conclusion, Scott shared a celebratory on-camera kiss with his husband Craig Woodward. I can’t be sure but I believe this is the first time the ESPN network has ever aired a pro athlete sharing a same-sex kiss. That, my friends, should be of considerable interest to each and every one of us. Click below to watch video of the happy and extremely loving moment as it aired on ESPN this weekend. More »
Actors Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis brought their adorable love affair to the University of Kansas this weekend so that they could root for the Jayhawks basketball team. As an alumnus of the University of Kansas, Jason tries to get back to Lawrence, KS as much as possible to lend support for his college team … Olivia, as you can see below, was happy to tag along and lend her support as well. The couple looked about as cute as can be all night long, which you can see for yourselves in the adorbs photos below. More »
OK, this is really cute
So, I may like to give tween popstar Justin Bieber a lot of grief for being an 18 year old kid with access to MASSIVE amounts of money but sometimes, just sometimes, he manages to do something that’s so cute that it’s almost pretty cool. At the LA Clippers basketball game at the Staples Center last night, Bieber played babysitter to the 3 year old son of Clippers player Chris Paul. The Biebs and little Christopher Emmanuel were seated courtside during the game and JB was tasked with keeping an eye on the little dude. Yes, the scene was as cute as you might imagine. More »
Becks Goes Out Like a Champ
A couple of weeks ago we learned the bummer news that David Beckham is leaving the LA Galaxy soccer team. At the time, it was announced that the 2012 MLS Championship game — win or lose — would be his last game as a Galaxian. Over the weekend, the Galaxy took on the Houston Dynamo at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA and won by a score of 3-1. This year’s MLS Championship title is the second in a row for the Galaxy … and proved to be the perfect high note for Becks to end his time here in LA as a professional soccer player. I Still... Cannot.
For those of you who joined me in my gush-fest over Marion Cotillard‘s one year-old baby boy the other day, we have an update. As unbelievably picture-perfect as little Marcel appeared to be, I think it’s safe to say that he’s absolutely real. Like, this is a real baby… with ginormous blonde curls and and a perfectly round face, and like, rays of sunshine bursting from his body. It’s madness! Y’all know I love to obsess over Marion, but we’ll give her a little break and spend some time marveling at Marcel. Peep the gallery for more! Le père de Marcel was competing again, and this time poppa Guillame won a show jumping prize– hence the look of total excitement from Marion in that one pic, lol. Awesomeness!

The End of an Era is Near
Boo. It’s the sad news that Los Angeles soccer fans have been dreading is finally nigh. David Beckham has announced that he will leave the LA Galaxy soccer team at the completion of the MLS Cup championship. As you may know, Becks moved his entire family to LA back in 2007 to play professional soccer for the LA Galaxy and he enjoyed a very successful career here. Sadly, it sounds like Becks‘s career is coming to an end and, therefore, it is time for Becks to plan his exit. More »
