Meet This Week's Hot-Person-Who-I-Didn't-Know-I-Was-Into-Until-Recently!
So, last night. Season finale of Mad Men. Not a big deal… except it totally was. As y’all know I’m a new Mad Men fan and only started watching the first season on Netflix a couple of months ago. I got so addicted, so quickly, I covered 5 seasons in, like a matter of weeks. Not sure if that’s something to be proud of, but I had a friggen blast! Very early on it became clear to me that Peggy Olson was my favorite character. I literally felt like I’d never seen anyone like her on TV and it was so refreshing and amazing and mind-blowing and then she got pregs and then there’s her seemingly undefinable relationship with Don Draper– it’s a whole thing. Alongside Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope in Scandal, she’s one of my favorite people on TV, but I have to admit that I find Peggy to be the more compelling character. All this to say I’ve always been attracted to Peggy, and I’ve seen her looking gorgeous in photoshoots, but during last night’s episode I realized that she is friggen hot. As in, hot. Not cute, not attractive-because-she’s-confident-and-smart-and rolls-with-the-big-boys; just hot. Click inside so we can discuss this week’s Hot-Person-Who-I-Didn’t-Know-I-Was-Into-Until-Recently!

SPOILER ALERT WARNING ... KINDA
Remember those photos we saw earlier in the week from the NYC set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 where Spidey (Andrew Garfield) was swinging around with his lady love Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) as they filmed an action-packed scene for the film? Well, the industrious folks at Entertainment Weekly seem to think that those scenes depict a MAJOR development in the Spider-Man storyline that might tell us the direction of the film. Now, I should warn you that this information could be considered spoilery since it concerns possible plot developments of a movie that won’t be out until next year. That said, all of this information about the Spider-Man story is quite old … and is already common knowledge to longtime fans. Still, if you are totally unfamiliar with the Spider-Man story, you might want to avoid the possible spoilers below. Otherwise, dive in and OMG with me. More »
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
Last month we learned that Downton Abbey is looking to cast a new leading man for the upcoming 4th season to replace … well, someone. Even tho the season 3 finale of Downton Abbey aired weeks ago (here in the US, months ago in the UK and abroad), I’m hesitant to say too much just in case some of y’all still don’t know who was killed off on the show. SO, I’ll do my best not to spoil anything in this opening paragraph. I will tease, tho, that filming production has begun on Downton season 4 and in the photos below you can see the sad result of the shocking last scene of the season 3 finale ep. Additionally, another Downton Abbey castmember is leaving the show … you can find out which castmember will NOT be returning to Downton Abbey when the 4th season of the show returns later this year. Earlier this month Entertainment Weekly magazine gave us a bit of an early peek at the forthcoming sequel film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire due out in November (I KNOW! A LIFETIME AWAY!!!) and today we get another, less authorized peek at the film. The industrious fans who operate the Hunger Games fansite The Hob discovered that anyone can get a look at key film sets from the movie via Google Maps. By entering in the right coordinates, we can see satellite images that show the sets used for The Tribute Parade and The Cornucopia arena in Catching Fire. I guess the photos are kinda spoilery so proceed at your own risk … otherwise, take a look below. More »
"I AM THE MODERN DAY BLOODY FACE!"
Fans of American Horror Story: Asylum, like me, know that the second season of the show is quickly winding down. From the start of the second season, AHS has provided, IMHO, fairly good entertainment with grossly engrossing storylines that have — thus far — proven to be scary and disturbing … but in a good way. One of the characters on the show is the Bloody Face killer and his true identity was revealed a few episodes ago. But there is another Bloody Face killer on the show and next week, we will find out the true identity of the second, modern day killer. That being said, the actor who plays the modern day Bloody Face has revealed his identity online by posting a photo of himself on set. If you simply cannot wait and you want to be SPOILED before the next episode of AHS airs next week, click below to find out who is the modern day Bloody Face killer. More »
Rumor Has It that JGL Will Appear in 'Man of Steel' & 'Justice League'
Those of you who are familiar with Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Trilogy of films know that the final film, The Dark Knight Rises, ended with a final scene that leaves open the possibility that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will take up the role of Batman in future films. According to a new report from /Film, we may see JGL in the role of Batman sooner than we think. It is being reported that JGL might appear in the forthcoming superhero film Superman: Man of Steel (due out next Summer) … but we don’t know yet for sure in which capacity he’ll appear (if at all). JGL is also rumored to be included in the much-anticipated Justice League movie as well … which makes it sound like he will appear in those films as the new Batman. HMMM. More »
