How Many Villains Will Spidey Battle In ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′?

Electro, Rhino ... and Green Goblin?

A big movie trailer for next spring’s superhero sequel film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be released this week online and in movie theaters but a few days ago, an eagle-eyed fan came upon a promo banner for the film that seems to clue us in as to which villains Spider-Man will be battling in the sequel film. We already know that Spidey will take on Electro (played by Jamie Foxx) and Rhino (played by Paul Giamatti) but the banner seems to show that the web-slinging superhero will also face off against Green Goblin (played by Dane DeHaan, who also appears in the film as Peter Parker‘s best friend turned enemy Harry Osborn). In actuality, the revelation that Green Goblin may appear in Spider-Man 2 isn’t really a spoiler since we already know that he is one of Spider-Man‘s arch nemeses … but until now, we didn’t know for sure if the villain would appear in this second film or a future film in the franchise. Click below to see the photographic evidence of the existence of these Spider-Man villains and get excited, y’all. The big promo push for the film is just about to get underway. More »

WTF?! ‘Family Guy’ Kills Off A Main Character Of The Show

SPOILER ALERT WARNING, OBVS

Wow. Completely out of nowhere and without any sign of warning, a main character on the long-running animated series Family Guy was killed off the show last night. While I don’t watch Family Guy with any regularity, I have enjoyed the show here and there over the years when I catch it in reruns or when a specially hyped new episode airs on Fox. I did not watch last night’s episode of Family Guy live as it aired but caught wind of the tragic death that took place shortly after it took place. In an attempt to not spoil the show for anyone who has yet to watch the episode last night, I’ll keep further information about this surprising death after the jump cut below. I will tell you that one of the characters in the thumbnail image to the left was tragically killed off Family Guy … for good :( More »

Watch: Lindsay Lohan & Alexander Skarsgård Cameo On The Series Finale Of ‘Eastbound & Down’

"Audience goes f*cking ape shit"
"The End. Cut To Black"

HBO aired the series finale of Eastbound & Down last night which featured, in the final minutes of the show, cameo appearances by Lindsay Lohan and Alexander Skarsgård. Altho the episode aired last night, I suppose the video above may be extremely spoilery for fans of the show who have yet to watch the episode. That said, the cameo scenes with Lindsay and Alexander take place in the future with the actors portraying future, adult versions of Kenny Powers‘s children. I haven’t been keeping up with Eastbound (I’m sorry to say) but I really love every single second of this finale scene. Even if you’ve never watched an episode of the show, I think you will find this video extremely entertaining. And, hey, look at that … Lindsay Lohan is getting work again. This TV appearance is her first paid gig since she got out of rehab this past summer (not counting her guest appearance on Chelsea Lately). Good for her. So, Eastbound fans, what do YOU think of the show’s series finale ep? How about them cameos, eh?

After 8 Seasons, ‘Dexter’ Comes To An End

SPOILER ALERT WARNING

And so … after 8 seasons on Showtime, the drama series Dexter came to an end last night. The series finale episode, titled Remember the Monsters?, was met with both love and hate as soon as it concluded (tho, some of the hate for the ep came even before the episode finished) … which was expected by Dexter producers (producers predicted back in July that the finale would leave a lot of people “unhappy”). IMHO, it’s impossible for a series finale episode of such a beloved series like Dexter to satisfy everyone so I’m also not surprised at the reaction from fans. Personally, I liked the way the series ended and even tho the final season had its faults, I think that the creative team did a decent job of putting a cap on the Dexter storyline once and for all. Click below to read some of my thoughts on the series finale episode (and the finale season overall) which, obviously, is fully of spoilers for those of you who have yet to watch last night’s episode. Be warned, the commentary and imagery below will directly discuss the Dexter finale episode Remember the Monsters? More »
