The Andre Agassi Reebok Pump Mix
Over the weekend, Lorde teased that her new single Tennis Court has gotten the remix treatment by Diplo and today, we get to hear the track. Personally, I love the original version of Tennis Court but Diplo puts together really sweet remixes so I’ve been curious to hear this one. I’m really taken by the brilliant titled that Diplo has given this remix … calling it the Andre Agassi Reebok Pump Mix … which is so freakin’ brilliant but only if you A.) know who Andre Agassi is, B.) know what Reebok Pumps are and/or C.) used to own a pair of Andre Agassi Reebok Pump shoes (like I did). Click below to hear this new remix and see what you think of it. More »
"Take Me Home"
The isolated audio track of Britney Spears‘s song Alien has leaked its way to the Internets which gives us an interesting take on the song in its more raw form. It’s hard to tell but this vocal still sounds like it was processed a bit in the sound mixing board but, for the most part, it gives us our clearest listen yet of Britney‘s vocals in the studio. It’s a shame that the promotion of Britney‘s album Britney Jean just completely disappeared once her Las Vegas residency started at the end of last year because Alien could’ve been a big hit had it been better produced and promoted. Listen to her new single 'Run-Time' NOW!
Imogen Heap, who I love SO MUCH, is readying the release of a new album titled Sparks and I am FREAKING out with excited anticipation. I fell in love with Imogen when she toured with Rufus Waiwright on his first US tour way back in the late 90s. Rufus was great on that tour but my first boyfriend and I became obsessed with Imogen. Her debut album didn’t do much here in the US so she released her next album under the moniker Frou Frou and found the success she deserved. I’ve been hearing crazy things about the creation of her new album Sparks, things confirmed by the press release that is posted below. Click below to see the cover for Sparks, learn more about the album and listen to her new song Run-Time in full. More »
'She locked the door / I keep knockin', knockin', knockin', knockin'"
Last week we saw the tracklisting for Robin Thicke‘s new album Paula which is full of songs that are meant to try and woo back his estranged wife Paula Patton. You may recall that one of those songs is titled Lock The Door. Today, we get our first listen of that song. A minute and a half preview of Lock The Door is featured below for your listening pleasure. If the songs on Robin‘s album are meant to be a message to Paula, then in this instance it would be wise for her to listen to him … and lock her damn doors. More »
Here's your one chance
In a stroke of brilliant genius, an industrious fan decided to mash-up Iggy Azalea‘s current hit song Fancy with Country Music star Reba McEntire‘s 1990 hit song Fancy into one, amazing song. Now, normally I wouldn’t be all excited about a Country Music mash-up song but these two Fancy songs have just been begging to be blended into one song. Music by Reba, lyrics by Iggy … have a listen below. More »

Jonah Hill is offering an apology today in the wake of the release of paparazzi video that shows him uttering a disgusting homophobic slur toward a photographer over the weekend. Claiming that he had been harassed to the point where he “lost his cool”, Jonah admits that he called the photographer a “faggot” and went on The Howard Stern Show to apologize for doing so. Click below to watch the original paparazzi video to hear what Jonah said and then listen to a portion of his interview with Howard Stern where he apologizes for what he said. More »
The Black Knight
A previously unreleased but long-rumored song titled Black Bruce Wayne by Kanye West has leaked its way to the Internets and altho the clip featured below is only a short snippet, it does give us a pretty good feel for what the full song sounds like. I’m not sure if this song was meant for Kanye‘s previous album Yeezus and just didn’t make the cut or if it will appear in full on his upcoming follow-up album due out this year but now that a snippet of the song has come to light, I suspect that the full song will get leaked eventually. Until then, click below to get this small taste of Black Bruce Wayne. More »
"I'm seeing you again"
In April we learned that the former Making The Band boy band O-Town was planning an Ashley Parker Angel-less reunion this year and earlier this month, we saw photos from the group’s most recent photoshoot as the newly reformed O-Town. Today we get our first listen of the groups new single Skydive, which will appear on O-Town‘s upcoming new album Lines & Circles. The new album won’t be out until August 3 but Skydive gives us a good feel for what we can expect when the album drops in a few months. Altho I’m not a big fan of pop ballads, I have to admit that this new O-Town song sounds heaps better than I thought it would. Have a listen below. More »
