Bobbi Kristina Brown Celebrates The Late Whitney Houston’s Birthday On Twitter

#HappyBirthdaymommy!

Ohhh, Bobbi Kristina Brown is a tricky one. On the one hand, she’ll attack a highly-respected actor like Angela Bassett in a non-sensical, offensive Twitter-rant, and you’ll be all like, “Girl. No.” And then on the other hand, she’s a young girl who lost her mother when she was even younger, and I can’t help but feel for her. Yesterday was the late Whitney Houston‘s birthday, and her daughter took to Twitter to share some love. Click inside for more!

First Listen: Lil’ Kim Comes For Nicki Minaj AGAIN With A New Diss Track Titled ‘Identity Theft’

Lil' Kim is a Lotta Angry

Yesterday we got to hear Lil’ Kim‘s response diss track remix of Beyoncé‘s song Flawless that takes aim squarely at Nicki Minaj. It would appear that Kim is still pissed at Nicki because she just dropped a new diss track titled Identity Theft that continues to show how pissed off Kim is at Nicki. As you can hear below, Identity Theft doesn’t actually mention Nicki Minaj by name … but the single cover art makes it PLAINLY CLEAR that Kim is going after Nicki for, apparently, stealing her identity. Have a listen, won’t you? More »

First Listen: Azealia Banks’s New Song ‘Heavy Metal And Reflective’ Leaks To The Interwebs

After a very long wait, Azealia drops a sick track

Lorde have mercy — a NEW song by Azealia Banks has been unleashed and it is damn good. Last week Azealia announced that she would be releasing a new song titled Heavy Metal and Reflective on July 29 (tomorrow) but, as tends to happen with the release of new music these days, the song leaked to the Internets a bit early. The full audio of Azealia‘s new song is available for listening in full below and I think you may agree with me that the song is just really good. Hear for yourselves below. More »

Listen: Diplo Remixes Lorde’s ‘Tennis Court’ And Gives It The Best Title Ever!

The Andre Agassi Reebok Pump Mix

Over the weekend, Lorde teased that her new single Tennis Court has gotten the remix treatment by Diplo and today, we get to hear the track. Personally, I love the original version of Tennis Court but Diplo puts together really sweet remixes so I’ve been curious to hear this one. I’m really taken by the brilliant titled that Diplo has given this remix … calling it the Andre Agassi Reebok Pump Mix … which is so freakin’ brilliant but only if you A.) know who Andre Agassi is, B.) know what Reebok Pumps are and/or C.) used to own a pair of Andre Agassi Reebok Pump shoes (like I did). Click below to hear this new remix and see what you think of it. More »

Listen: Britney Spears’s Lead Vocal Track For ‘Alien’ Leaks To The Internets

"Take Me Home"

The isolated audio track of Britney Spears‘s song Alien has leaked its way to the Internets which gives us an interesting take on the song in its more raw form. It’s hard to tell but this vocal still sounds like it was processed a bit in the sound mixing board but, for the most part, it gives us our clearest listen yet of Britney‘s vocals in the studio. It’s a shame that the promotion of Britney‘s album Britney Jean just completely disappeared once her Las Vegas residency started at the end of last year because Alien could’ve been a big hit had it been better produced and promoted. Imogen Heap Will Release A New Album Titled ‘Sparks’ In August

Listen to her new single 'Run-Time' NOW!

Imogen Heap, who I love SO MUCH, is readying the release of a new album titled Sparks and I am FREAKING out with excited anticipation. I fell in love with Imogen when she toured with Rufus Waiwright on his first US tour way back in the late 90s. Rufus was great on that tour but my first boyfriend and I became obsessed with Imogen. Her debut album didn’t do much here in the US so she released her next album under the moniker Frou Frou and found the success she deserved. I’ve been hearing crazy things about the creation of her new album Sparks, things confirmed by the press release that is posted below. Click below to see the cover for Sparks, learn more about the album and listen to her new song Run-Time in full. More »

First Listen: Robin Thicke Previews His New Song ‘Lock The Door’

'She locked the door / I keep knockin', knockin', knockin', knockin'"

Last week we saw the tracklisting for Robin Thicke‘s new album Paula which is full of songs that are meant to try and woo back his estranged wife Paula Patton. You may recall that one of those songs is titled Lock The Door. Today, we get our first listen of that song. A minute and a half preview of Lock The Door is featured below for your listening pleasure. If the songs on Robin‘s album are meant to be a message to Paula, then in this instance it would be wise for her to listen to him … and lock her damn doors. More »
