I am one of maybe four people you know who hasn’t seen Avengers: Age of Ultron yet. I know that means that I basically don’t exist or something, but yeah. That’s what’s going on with me. At any rate, I figure those of you who have seen it will be excited to learn that the Blu-Ray release is going to feature an alternate ending. Joss Whedon was a guest on the Empire Film podcast and he shared the big news. Obviously, there are SPOILERS AHEAD so back out now while you have the chance. Otherwise, click inside for more!
"We wanted to do a cover that was a bit under the radar"
Back in 2011, Ryan Gosling starred in a film titled Drive that, to this day, remains one of my fave movies of all time (in fact, I just rewatched Drive over the weekend, randomly) and gave us one of the more memorable soundtracks in recent years. The LA band Small Pools, who just released their debut album Lovetap! last month, decided to record and release a cover of the song A Real Hero by College & Electric Youth as featured on the Drive soundrack … which you can listen to in full below. A Real Hero is such a great song, it plays in heavy rotation in my running mix. Click below to hear Small Pools put their spin on this really great track. More »

That’s right, folks … Kanye West is now officially Dr. West. Kanye‘s wife shared a photo of Dr. West wearing his cap and gown during this weekend’s graduation ceremony at SAIC and the school has shared audio of Kanye, sorry, Dr. West delivering his remarks during commencement. Kathy Griffin only quit as co-host of Fashion Police on E! just a few days ago but today she went on the interview circuit to talk about her reasons for quitting. As you may recall, Kathy posted a lengthy message on her Twitter profile announcing some of the reasons for quitting Fashion Police (saying she didn’t want “her comedy to be used to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference“) but today paid a visit to The Howard Stern Show and The View to discuss the matter further. In her chat with Stern, Kathy confesses that she probably shouldn’t have taken the FP gig in the first place. In her chat with ladies on The View, Kathy flat out calls Fashion Police an “anti-feminist … dog pile”. Click below to hear and read Kathy‘s scathing comments about Fashion Police. More »
