It’s been a long time since Amanda Bynes has posted an update on her official Twitter profile … in fact, the last time we heard from her on the social network, it was last September and she posted a message about Drake. Today, for the first time in months, Amanda has updated her Twitter account with a new message to her followers. Unlike the erratic and disturbing messages that she used to post last year, this new update is measured and pretty benign. Click below to read Amanda‘s newest tweet and find out what she’s been up to for the past few weeks. More »

The 'RHONJ' Stars Aren't Gettin' Off the Hook that Easily
Late last month we learned that Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Guidice got themselves indicted by the federal government for defrauding the IRS and today we learn that things have gotten seriously, serious with their case. The Guidices reportedly attempted to work out a plea bargain deal with the feds in order to avoid going to jail … unfortunately for the reality TV couple, their attempt at striking a deal has been denied. It’s possible that a new deal could be agreed upon but it sounds to me that the federal government isn’t going to go for any plea bargain that does NOT involve at least some jail time. Yikes. More »
Fantasy vs. Reality
Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli whipped up a few costumes for Beyoncé‘s current Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and has shared one of the design sketches he drew for one of her showstopping outfits. Cavalli posted the photo to his official Facebook profile alongside an actual photo of Bey wearing the finished dress. Of course, Beyoncé looks stunning in the actual dress … but it’s the impressive sketch that Cavalli drew of Beyoncé that really caught my attention. Click below to see the sketch fantasy and the dress reality as worn by Mrs. Carter herself. More »
Earlier this week we learned that Disney is planning to produce at least 3 Star Wars spin-off movies, outside of a new trilogy of Star Wars proper movies, once of which will reportedly center on the character of young Han Solo. Today we get to see what the concept art for young Han looks like. Apparently this idea of making a movie about the character has been around for a while because this concept art isn’t brand new. Of course it’s far too early to know what the final film will look like but if you’d like a peek at what Lil’ Solo might look like in the eventual movie, take a look below. More »

A Redux of 'The Snow Queen'
Back in 2010, it was reported that Disney decided to try and market its animated take on the Rapunzel fairytale to boys by titling the film Tangled and focusing on the swashbuckling nature of the story (the reasoning was because it was believed audiences had tired of Princess fairytale stories). Around that time, it was also reported that Disney was planning to move away from adapting classic fairytales altogether. It would seem that the plan to move away from Princess fairytale stories is no longer … because today we learn that Disney is planning its 12th Princess film for next year, a film titled Frozen that is based on the classic tale The Snow Queen. Great news, Madonna fans … it turns out that famed fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier is working with Madonna on her upcoming MDNA World Tour. At the launch of a Gaultier event yesterday, he was asked if he was designing the costumes for Maddy‘s tour. Considering that he designed the costumes for 4 of her previous tours, it was a pretty good question. It is with great pleasure that I pass along the news that yes, Gaultier designed the costumes for the MDNA World Tour! More »
Behold the The Queen's Raiment
So, okay, yes … there has already been a LOT of Madonna talk today … from her stellar Super Bowl performance, to that dumb middle finger thing, to an inside look at her locker room full of HAWT gladiators in their underwear … but I have one more bit of fun Maddy Super Bowl stuff to share. The French fashion house Givenchy was responsible for the creation of Madonna‘s beautifully regal costumes yesterday and they happily share the design sketches of Madge‘s stunning raiments. Click below to see the Givenchy design sketches and take another look at the final pieces as worn by the Queen of Pop herself. More »

While we await the Spring release of the big screen adaptation of The Hunger Games next year, In Style magazine brings us a fun feature in their new issue that imagines what protagonist Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence) might wear as she makes her public introduction to the Hunger Games.
