After a producer for The Simpsons made comments stating that Homer and Marge Simpson would be having a “legal separation” in the upcoming season of The Simpsons, everyone pretty much lost their shizz for a day … until a spokesperson for the show backtracked and denied that Homer and Marge will be splitting up at all. Today, we learn that Fox has released a short promo video for The Simpsons that features Homer & Marge addressing what they refer to as “baseless rumors” that they are splitting up. All of this smells like shenanigans to get people interested in watching The Simpsons so … if you’re interested, you can watch the video above and see what you think. Personally, I think this little gimmicky hoax is dumb but, it worked. This is the third post I’ve written on The Simpsons in the past month so, the strategy works. The 27th season of The Simpsons will premiere on Fox this fall.
The full video will be out on Friday
Yesterday we got to hear Selena Gomez‘s new single with A$AP Rocky, Good For You, in full. Today we get to preview the forthcoming music video for the track. Selena has released a 30 second clip from the full music video, which will be released on Friday. As you can see above, the clip features only Selena … which is fine, for a sneak peek. Check out the clip and get your first taste of what’s to come when the video for Good For You (Featuring A$AP Rocky) is released at the end of the week.
Is it getting moist in here?
Warner Bros. has released a new clip of footage from the upcoming male stripper sequel film Magic Mike XXL, in theaters next weekend, and as you can see above, this clip features actor Matt Bomer seducing a woman NOT with his nekkid, rock hard & chiseled body … but by singing the Bryan Adams song Heaven as he holds her face. The clip is short but it is oh so very sweet. Magic Mike XXL will open in theaters on July 1 … and you know you’re gonna wanna head out to see this movie in order to watch the MMXXL men titillate and seduce in every way possible, right?
“The Confederate flag flies over South Carolina, and the roads are named for Confederate generals and the white guy is the one who feels like his country is being taken away from him.”
In the wake of the heartbreaking news that a racist terrorist opened fired and killed 9 people inside a church in Charleston, SC on Tuesday, many people were left speechless at the senselessness audacity of this vile hate crime. I, myself, have found it difficult to articulate my feelings and when my job is to have fun with and make light of the talk of the day, I really had no idea how to address the crime here on the blog. Last night, Jon Stewart delivered a powerful monologue on The Daily Show charged with emotion and intelligence that spoke to the events that took place in Charleston without any hint of humor … because nothing about this hate crime is funny, nor the racist commentary that has sprung up from other people and media sources. If you watch anything at all today, please watch the video below of Stewart‘s monologue on The Daily Show last night embedded below. Jon so often gets things right that it is near impossible to deny that he is one of the most important voices of our time. More »
"Gotta f*ck 'em all"
In terms of pop culture-inspired porn parodies, we’ve seen mostly entertaining offerings that have spoofed Guardians of the Galaxy, Game of Thrones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Man of Steel … to name but a few. Today, we learn that WoodRocket Productions has taken the porn parody treatment into the world of … Pokémon. A trailer for their newest offering, titled Strokémon, has been released and as you can see above, except for some strong language, the trailer is mostly safe for work (tho, the Pikachu-like character named Dickachu is the stuff nightmares are made of. All of your fave Pokémon characters are spoofed in this porn parody — Ash, Misty, Brock, even Team Rocket (Jess, James and a nekkid Meowth):
Honestly, I like having fun with silly porn parody offerings but this one … this one is different. I’m so terrified by the prospect of these characters having sex that I’m not sure my frail little heart could handle the NSFW version of this trailer. But, if you are the type of person that would love to have your childhood completely destroyed by a porn parody film based on a beloved cartoon from your youth, then Strokémon
might be right up your alley.

After a bit of teasing on Instagram and Good Morning America, Madonna released her celebrity cameo-heavy music video for her new single Bitch, I’m Madonna on the paid music streaming service TIDAL early yesterday. Today, AT LONG LAST, we get to see the video in full now that she has released the video on You Tube. As I understand it, the version of the video that was released on TIDAL yesterday was incomplete as the last portion of the clip was cut off in error. The video embedded above is the video in full, with all the celeb cameos from Beyoncé to Kanye and everyone in between. I do have to say it’s a fun video but because it’s very similar to the performance she gave of the song on The Tonight Show back in March, it’s not really all that exciting. I am in LUST with Maddy‘s hot pink studded leather jacket, I have to say and I’m really feeling the uber-neon styling of the whole video so, I guess I like the video. I mean, it’s an OK video. If that is good enough for Madonna then I guess that’s just the way it is. What do you think of Bitch, I’m Madonna now that you can actually see it. Are you impressed?
From Bey to Z-List
Madonna‘s music video for Bitch, I’m Madonna is not yet available for viewing outside of the paid music streaming service TIDAL (tho she did preview it on Instagram last night and on Good Morning America this morning) but for those of you curious about which celebs make cameos in the video, I’ve complied screencaps of all of Madonna‘s celebrity BFFs (mostly TIDAL artists, tbh) that appear in the video. Only Chris Rock, Rita Ora, Diplo and her sons Rocco John & David Banda were actually on the music video set. The rest of the celebs (Beyoncé, Kanye West, Katy Perry, etc.) filmed their quick cameos off-site … even Nicki Minaj, who provides guest vocals on the song, couldn’t be bothered to be on set for the music video shoot. HMMM. Hopefully, the video will be available for sharing soon officially … for now,

Late yesterday, Madonna released a short teaser for the music video for her new single Bitch, I’m Madonna on Instagram but this morning, she debuted a longer clip from the video on Good Morning America … which seems like an odd choice because GMA decided to censor the word Bitch as it aired the clip on national television earlier this morning. If you consider that the word Bitch is used every other time throughout this song, you can understand how that might be problematic for promoting the video … but I digress. Click below to see this preview of B____, I’m Madonna which was shown on GMA today and see how many of Madonna‘s BFF guest stars you can see in the clip. More »
"Snoopy, what would I do without a friend like you"
In November of last year, we got our first look at the first teaser trailer for the upcoming animated feature film The Peanuts Movie. In January, we got to see a second trailer for the film. Today we get to see a just-released new trailer that gives us our first look at Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang in action … and also gives us our first opportunity to hear the characters speak. As you can see in the trailer embedded above, many of the Peanuts gags that we’ve seen in the comic strip and classic animated specials have been updated for this new film … and I like what I see. While some may take anything other than the classic Peanuts specials (It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Christmas, etc.) as blasphemy, I can see the fun potential of this movie. Check out the trailer and see what you think, The Peanuts Movie will hit theaters this holiday season.
The full thing premieres tomorrow morning
So, earlier today we learned that Madonna has called in a cavalry of pop stars, ranging from Beyoncé to Rita Ora, to appear in the music video for her new single Bitch, I’m Madonna (in what promises to be a hot mess, I fear). Right now, we get our first look at the music video in question courtesy of Madonna herself. Maddy posted a short clip of music video footage on her official Instagram profile that gives us our first taste of what’s to come and, well, it looks … worrisome. Click below to see this clip from the Bitch, I’m Madonna music video and see what you think. Be warned, there’s outdated twerking involved and lots of seizure-inducing strobe-like scene flashing ahead. Sigh. More »
