Seriously, the best thing you'll see all day
SO, by now you and the rest of the people living on planet earth have watched and rewatched the second teaser trailer that was released yesterday for the upcoming sequel film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It only stands to reason that celebs watched and geeked out over the trailer just like the rest of us have. A very industrious fan took footage of Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar and used it to show what he looked like while watching the Force Awakens teaser for the first time. The result is pure Internet gold. Watch Matthew‘s reaction video above and tell me you didn’t have the exact same reaction when you watched the teaser for the first time as well :)
A second look
Back in November, we got our first look at the first trailer for the new Peter Pan origin story movie Pan which stars Hugh Jackman in the role of Blackbeard. Today, courtesy of Jackman, we get another look at Pan in the new teaser video that he shared on his official Instagram profile. To be honest, I wasn’t really wowed when the trailer was released back in November but I am still interested in seeing this new movie. Peter Pan is having a bit of a moment right now but it remains to be seen if this new Pan movie will be able to capitalize on that moment. How do these things get made so fast?
The second teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released only yesterday and mere hours later, it was already recreated in LEGO form by an industrious fan. As you may recall, the first Force Awakens teaser trailer was remade a few times by fans (in LEGO form, in George Lucas form, in Wes Anderson form, etc.) after it was released last November … and so, it looks like the same thing is happening with the second teaser. Click the embed above to watch the brand new teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens in impressive LEGO form. I am amazed at how well the teaser was recreated and with the speed at which it was produced. Aren’t you?
The trailer hits the internet days before its official release
Altho the first trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice won’t be released officially here in the US until Monday evening, the trailer did make its debut online earlier tonight from somewhere outside of the US. A foreign version of the trailer, with Portuguese subtitles, was recorded and released tonight, giving us our first good look at the forthcoming superhero sequel film (not counting the teaser video that was released Tuesday night). As you can see above, everyone appears to really hate Superman … including the Dark Knight himself, Batman. Personally, I’m not wowed by this first trailer … in fact, my concerns over the direction of where the DC Comics movies is headed have been intensified. Watch the trailer and judge for yourselves. Does this look like the Batman V Superman movie that you’d like to see? Are you impressed with this first look at Dawn of Justice?
"Chewie, we're home"
After JJ Abrams brought out a bunch of actors, both old and new, from the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens at the discussion panel that kicked off Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA this morning, the second trailer for The Force Awakens was screened for the assembled audience both in person and online. Click the embed above to see this second trailer and commence the freaking out! We get to see a LOT more new stuff in this very exciting new video teaser … just watch it over and over and over again for the rest of the day. Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters this Xmas.
Featuring Brian Aubert of Silversun Pickups
Last month we learned the GREAT news that Garbage is, once again, releasing a new single in celebration of Record Store Day (which is this Saturday) and today we get to HEAR the song for the first time and SEE the music video for the track. Directed by longtime Garbage music video collaborator Sophie Muller, The Chemicals is the first of two new songs included on the 10″ vinyl single that will be released on RSD this weekend. The song features guest vocals by Brian Aubert of Silversun Pickups but longtime Garbage fans will hear immediately that this is 100% a Garbage song. I am really looking forward to picking up this vinyl when it is released on Saturday. Please enjoy.
Confirmed: The Trailer will be Released Monday April 20
Earlier today we learned of a rumor that the first teaser for the first trailer for the superhero sequel film Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice would be released tomorrow morning, ahead of the full trailer reveal on Monday. Welp, it looks like director Zack Snyder didn’t want to wait until the morning to give us the teaser because he just released it on his official Twitter profile. Click below to see the first teaser for Dawn of Justice and find out how YOU can register for passes to see the trailer in full when it is released in IMAX theaters on Monday. More »
"I'm never one to shrink from an honest challenge"
Altho it seems like the plan is to release the entire movie in clip form before it opens in theaters on May 1, I kinda don’t mind that we get to see ANOTHER clip of footage from The Avengers: Age of Ultron today. Normally, I’m annoyed when trailers and preview clips show too much of a movie before it is even released but I am really loving the Hell out of the video stuff we’ve been getting from Age of Ultron over the past few weeks (or, you know, this week alone). The clip embedded above is an extended look at the party scene that was shown in the first trailer last October that features all of the male Avengers testing their might when it comes to lifting Thor‘s hammer Mjölnir. What I love most about this clip is the plethora of penis innuendos that are made … because I am a 12 year old on the inside. I think you’ll enjoy this fun and not at all spoilery look at The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
"Not machine. Not man. I'm more."
Thus far we’ve seen enough footage from the forthcoming sequel film Terminator: Genisys to learn that the storyline of the Terminator film franchise will be changed significantly from the previous films. Today, we get to see the just released second trailer for Genisys that, amazingly, reveals a huge plot twist that completely changes everything that we know about the Terminator story. For whatever reason, the promo machine for this new Terminator movie decided to reveal this game-changing plot twist MONTHS before the movie hits theaters … and I can’t decide if it’s a genius move or a horrible mistake. If you are interested in learning the plot twist that will absolutely upend everything you know about the Terminator mythos, then this is a trailer that you will have to see for yourselves. After you’ve watched, let me know what you think below.

So much 'OITNB' to come
Netflix announced earlier today that they have renewed their original series Orange is the new Black for a 4th season, just about 2 months before the 3rd season of the show premieres in June. To mark this happy news, the video streaming service also released today a new clip of footage from the forthcoming new season. Click the embed above to watch Crazy Eyes flip out on Poussey over the possible (?) return (?) of Vee, who escaped the prison at the end of last season. It’s a happy day, y’all. We have so much great OITNB goodness headed our way.
