The Princess Diary
Back in 2012 we learned that Nicole Kidman had signed on to portray Princess Grace of Monaco in a planned biopic film about her life. There was some talk that the project might be shelved altogether but it was announced a few weeks ago that Grace of Monaco will have its world premiere at the Cannes International Film Festival this year. Ahead of its premiere at Cannes, we get to see today the just-released first trailer for the film. Personally, I’m having a hard time seeing anyone but Nicole Kidman in this trailer but I’m hopeful that the film will do more to show us that she can become Princess Grace. Check out the trailer above to get your first look at Grace of Monaco. Does this biopic film look like something you’d like to see for yourself?
If you wanted more video, urine luck
Yesterday we saw video released by the Miami Beach Police Department that showed popstar Justin Bieber peeing into a cup slightly off camera while he was in police custody after he was arrested for drag racing, DUI and resisting arrest back in January. Today we get to see more video of JB taking his pee test while in custody but this time, we get a bit more up close and more personal with him. This new video features Bieber on camera peeing into a cup so that his urine can be tested for drugs and/or alcohol. To protect his modesty, tho, a big black censor square has been placed over his penis area. Again, I have no idea why the Miami Beach PD is releasing this video footage but clearly, it has something to do with the way the judicial system works in Florida. Enjoy the vid?

"Tomorrow, there'll be sun"
Back in December we saw photos and video from the NYC set of the upcoming remake film Annie, which stars Academy Award-nominated actress Quvenzhané Wallis as Annie and Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx as Daddy Stacks (aka Daddy Warbucks), and today we get to see the first trailer released for the film. As you may know, this version of Annie is a modern remake of the beloved Broadway musical and as you can see in the video embedded above, the heart and spirit of the original has been upgraded for a new generation. I love little Miss Quvenzhané so much that I couldn’t be more excited for this film. The trailer is pretty standard and very cute … but I must admit, I did get a wee bit choked up when Quevenzhané starts to sing the song Tomorrow midway thru the trailer. This looks really good, y’all. Check out the trailer, let me know what you think. Doesn’t this look like the Annie that we’ve all been waiting for?
Coming In November
Everyone’s favorite British teddybear, Paddington, is finally making his feature film debut in a live-action/computer animated film scheduled to hit theaters in late November, just in time for the holidays. Colin Firth will voice the beloved character but we don’t get to hear Paddington speak in the just-released first teaser video for the film. Click the embed above to watch this new teaser to get your first peek at what Paddington will look like in this film. As much as I love the character, I’m not yet on board with the way he has been computer animated for this film. I think I’ll need to see more to make a better assessment. Have a look above and see what you think. Are you excited for this movie or are you bummed that another part of our collective childhood is being repackaged and resold for financial gain? Paddington will open in theaters on November 28.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is about to be released on DVD and to inspire sales of the release, a bunch of deleted scenes from the film have been added as bonus extra scenes. MTV got their hands on one of those deleted scenes and they are sharing it with all of us. In the video embedded above, we first get to watch a little interview with actors Sam Clafin and Jena Malone and then we get to see a scene cut from the final film where Finnick teaches Katniss how to tie a noose. If you’re a Hunger Games fan, you know you wanna watch. Enjoy.
Earlier today we got to see a batch of photos that were taken by the Miami Beach Police Department of Justin Bieber‘s numerous tattoos back when he was in police custody after he got arrested for drag racing, DUI and resisting arrest back in January. Before those photos were released, the Miami Beach PD released video of Bieber taking a sobriety test and video of him being frisked. Right now, we get to check out newly released video footage that was taken of Justin Bieber urinating into a cup so that it could be tested for evidence of drugs and/or alcohol because … well, I don’t know why we are watching this video … but the Miami Beach PD wants us to see it so … here we are. I honestly do not understand why the cops are releasing so much footage from JB‘s arrest. I don’t really understand how this helps their case against him but … I understand that even more footage will be released soon (of him actually peeing into the cup, like, up close and blurred). I dunno. I watched this video, it’s just weird. I mean, right? This is so weird, right?

Early last month we got to see the pretty epic first full-length trailer for the upcoming sequel/reboot film Transformers: Age of Extinction and as you may recall, THAT TRAILER FEATURES AUTOBOT LEADER OPTIMUS PRIME WIELDING A SWORD WHILE RIDING ATOP DINOBOT LEADER GRIMLOCK. Sorry, I’m having a hard time NOT TYPING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THE DINOBOTS REALLY GET ME AMPED UP. As much as I really DO NOT LIKE OR TRUST Michael Bay, I have to admit … this second trailer looks pretty damn sweet … er, that is, if you focus solely on the Transformers … especially THE DINOBOTS. OMG, I have to stop yelling, click the embed above to watch this new Transformers trailer and see what you think. Personally, I hate myself for being so excited about this movie but THERE’S REALLY NOTHING THAT I CAN DO AT THIS POINT. Ugh.
"How the hell did this shit happen?"
An industrious fan has recreated the music video for Beyoncé‘s sexy single Drunk In Love using nothing but emoji icons. The result is nothing short of ***Flawless. Watch above, marvel, lurve. Enjoy.
Whatever! Iggy & Charli get 'Fancy'
Sooo, rapper Iggy Azalea has released a music video for her song Fancy, which features Charli XCX on guest vocals, and as you can see in the video embedded above, it is probably the best music video that has ever been made in the history of music videos. Iggy pays BRILLIANT homage to the 1995 movie Clueless with this music video and I totally love it entirely … despite the fact that the song kinda bugs the ish out of me. Full disclosure: I’m not a huge Iggy Azalea fan. The way she enunciates her lyrics irritates me to no end. But, that being said, having watched this music video about 45 times already, I guess I have to confess that the song is growing on me (due in large part to the fact that I love Charli XCX). Whether or not you love the song, you have to watch this video in full — put it on mute if you have to. Iggy‘s tribute to Clueless is only everything. Please enjoy (I know you will).
With Musical Guest, The National
Girls star Lena Dunham will host this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, with musical guest The National, and today we get our first look at her just-released promo videos for the show. As you can see in the embed above, Lena busts out her trademark humor in an attempt to entice you to watch her host SNL this Saturday night. Check out the promo videos above and see if they work their magic on you. I’m intrigued but not yet entirely convinced. That said, I’ll probably tune in to watch the episode anyways. Will you?
