Watch: NBC Releases A First Trailer For ‘Dracula’

Earlier this week we got our first look at promo images from NBC‘s new Dracula TV series, which will premiere this Fall and will star Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Today we get our first look at the first trailer for the new limited series. As you can see in the embed above, a few liberties have been taken with the original source material, written by Bram Stoker. Based on this first look, I am not only intrigued … I am excited to see more. I’ve been a big fan of Rhys Meyers for some time now so I have no doubt that he will make an excellent Dracula. The fact that this series was produced by the same folks responsible for Downton Abbey makes me quite comfortable that this new incarnation of Dracula will do very well. Over the weekend, our dear Britney Spears brought her hawtness to the KIIS FM Wango Tango concert festival and Extra! TV managed to get some one-on-one time with her for a quick interview. Part 1 of Extra!‘s interview with Britney Spears aired last night and as you can see in the embed above, she talked about her appearance in Shape magazine, her LURVE of junk food, her planned Las Vegas residency and more! Britney looked cute as ever, so you simply MUST watch the video above. Part 2 of Extra!‘s interview with Brit Brit will air tonight … I can’t wait to see what else she will reveal in her chat with host Mario Lopez!

First Look: ABC Releases A First Full Trailer For ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

ABC presented their upfront presentations to advertisers today and showed off their collection of new TV shows, scheduled to debut this Fall. Among the new shows on display today was the much-anticipated Joss Whedon series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. As you may recall, we got our first look at this new series yesterday with the release of a super short 30-second trailer. Today, ABC has released the first full-length trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that features almost 3 minutes of footage from the show. The writing, as you will quickly learn, is brilliantly Whedonesque … and Clark Gregg, as Agent Phil Coulson, is just perfection. Check out the just-released first trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and get excited, y’all. The countdown to the coming TV season is now underway!

On Sunday we learned that Justin Bieber was scheduled to make his animated debut on The Simpsons later that night and today, in case you missed it (and honestly, if you blinked at the right moment you probably did miss it) you can watch his Simpsons debut below. JB‘s appearance on the show was short … very short. As you can see in the screencaps and video below, Bieber was turned away from Bart Simpson‘s 10-and-Below Talent Show because, of course, The Biebs is over 10 years old. That was the gag, seriously. Aussie popstar Kylie Minogue has teamed up with Funny or Die for a brilliantly hilarious, yet odd, parody video that features Min in character as She-Ra: Princess of Power. The clip is made to look like a promo video for a fictional live-action reboot of the She-Ra cartoon on NBC. Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen is also featured in the clip as Skeletor … but with all that make-up, you can’t even tell that it’s him. Over the weekend we learned that ABC wisely picked up the new Joss Whedon TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for the coming TV season and today we get our first look at the first video promo for the show. ABC aired a short 30 second trailer during the airing of last night’s Once Upon a Time season finale, which you can watch in full via the embed above. It’s only a quick look at the series but, omg, does it look good.

Earlier in the week we learned the happy news that funnylady Kristen Wiig was making her return to Saturday Night Live as host this weekend and she did just that last night. As much as I love me some Kristen Wiig, the show was pretty hit or miss for me. Kristen brought back some of her most beloved SNL characters as well as her BFF and former SNL castmate Maya Rudolph (who is ETERNALLY PREGNANT!!!!) and delivered 3 very solid skit performances, I thought. Watch: Kanye West Walks Into A Sign Then FLIPS OUT On The Paparazzi

So … Kanye West and his baby-mama-to-be were out and about in Beverly Hills this week trying to make their way into a restaurant when they were met by the paparazzi. Kanye accidentally walked into a large metal sign and banged his head pretty badly … as a result, and probably due to horrible embarrassment, Kanye then proceeded to FLIP OUT on the paps who were taking photos of his mishap. Naturally, his emotive explosion was caught on video (tho, the actual moment he bashed his head was not captured on video) which you can watch in the embed above. After the incident, Kanye and his chick went inside the restaurant to cool off … but the attempt was unsuccessful. Watch: A ‘Banned’ Guinness Commercial From 1995, Featuring A Same-Sex Couple, Finds New Life In 2013

Stand By Your Man

Back in 1995, Guinness produced a television commercial that featured a same-sex male couple in a loving (if somewhat messy) relationship. At the time, the company decided that the image of a male couple in an ad campaign was not suitable for airing on TV (largely due to the British tabloid press that deemed the ad “controversial and wrong”). Late last year, the commercial found its way to the Internets and it’s been making the rounds ever since. I am in love with this commercial … which I find clever, cute and extremely progressive … especially for the time in which it was produced. Guinness has long been one of my favorite beers so I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to see that a company that I love to support has been a long supporter of gay rights. Even tho the commercial was never officially released, it’s clear the company intent was to showcase same-sex love in a very positive light AND associate that love with the Guinness brand. Amazing. My Goodness, indeed.

Watch: Chris Smith Eulogizes His Late Kriss Kross Partner Chris Kelly

Last week we learned the tragic news that Kriss Kross member Chris Kelly (aka the Mac Daddy) passed away at the age of 34 after an apparent drug overdose. A day later we heard from his Kriss Kross partner Chris Smith (aka the Daddy Mac) as he commented on the death of his longtime friend. The funeral for Chris Kelly was held in Atlanta, GA yesterday and Chris Smith was among the speakers who eulogized Kelly. Click the embed above to watch Smith break down as he spoke lovingly about his friend. It’s a tough video to watch because you can see how much Smith loves his friend. Here’s hoping Chris Kelly has finally found the peace that he was missing in life.
