Filming has begun on the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and according to a report by In Touch Weekly magazine, the ladies of the ATL have added two new faces to the mix. Naturally, Bravo TV does not comment on casting matters until they’re good and ready but according to In Touch, there will be two new housewives in forthcoming season of the show. As far as I can tell, none of the castmembers from last season have been cut … but rumor has it that one of the original castmembers will be featured less frequently on the show. Click below to find out who these new housewives are and which original housewife will reportedly get less screentime. More »
No, Seriously. Is it?
Okay, so remember a few weeks back when we saw the first trailer for The Master? And it looked amazing with all it’s Paul Thomas Anderson-ness plus Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams and Scientology?! Well, actors and people from the studio continue to deny that the film is about Scientology. And people who’ve seen the film continue to confirm that it totally is about Scientology. I’m confused… and still crazy excited about this movie! We’ve got new photos and deets– that may or may not be true– inside.

Just when we thought this issue had been put to rest, Twitter got involved. Well, not Twitter, but I’m citing Twitter because I need something to blame for all this back-and-forth he-said-she-said confirmation/denial drama over the Aaliyah project. It seems like only yesterday (because it was yesterday) that we were getting the final say from Blackground Records, who confirmed that Missy Elliot and Timbaland would work on a posthumous Aaliyah album which would feature previously unreleased songs and new songs, some of which would include Drake (like the first single we heard). This news was comforting to some of us– mainly the part where Missy and Timb would be involved– but hours later, Missy Elliot was denying any knowledge of or involvement with the project. Deets inside.
Is Drake Really Involved? What About Timbaland & Missy Elliot?
Already this year there has been much talk about the rumored new Aaliyah album and even tho we’ve heard a new song, there are still many questions about what exactly is going on behind the scenes. We know that Drake will appear on the album but will he really be in charge of the whole thing? What about Timbaland and Missy Elliott? Will they really be shut out of the project? Billboard magazine has published a new report with information gotten directly from Blackground Records and they clear up all of the conflicting rumors. Click below to get the real 411 on what is going to happen with the forthcoming new album from Aaliyah. More »

Remember last month when Lindsay Lohan, Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey had a sleepover party at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, CA? Yeah, well, it would appear that the ladies used the occasion to become life long BFFs. And what do BFFs do for one another? Why, they let their BFFs appear in their music videos, of course. Rumor has it that now that L. Lo and Gaga are besties, Gags has decided to put Linds in her next music video. I mean, makes sense, right? More »

Is Mr. SexyBack Bringing Music Back?
OK, brace yourselves, y’all … there is a new interview out today with producer Jim Beanz that CLAIMS that Justin Timberlake is currently working on new music for a reported new album. Thus far, there are no solid details about this new music project but if Beanz is correct, then we might get to hear something new from JT relatively soon. Of course, there is no way of knowing how far along Justin may be in the “early stages” of his new music project … Hell, we don’t even know if this report of new music is even true but … it is very possible that Beanz is spilling the beans on JT‘s secret. HMMM. UPDATE: Timberlake‘s publicist has issued a statement on reports of new JT music. Read what the publicist has to say below. More »
It’s been a hot minute since Beyoncé released her last album 4 so it’s about time that she got around to releasing new music, right? According to a new report, Bey has already started work on her 5th solo album in NYC, NY … apparently with hubby Jay-Z and their BFF Kanye West. This new album will be the first since Beyoncé gave birth to her first child Blue Ivy so I’d expect her influence to be heard on the disc. If this report is to be believed, then we may hear something new soon. You excited? More »

The Dark Knight Reborn
OK … so The Dark Knight Rises is STILL in movie theaters but today we are hearing that plans are in the works to reboot the Batman film franchise in just a few short years. While this may sound grossly unnecessary on the surface, a rebooted Batman series is actually a good idea … and let me tell you why. For years, Warner Bros. and DC Comics have been trying to find a way to bring the superhero group The Justice League to the big screen. After the huge success of Marvel Comics bringing their superhero group The Avengers to the silver screen, it makes sense that DC is now anxious to get the ball rolling. Christopher Nolan has said that he is done making Batman films … but Batman is one of the key members of The Justice League. In order for WB and DC to move forward with a Justice League movie, they need a new Batman … which is where the reboot comes in. More »

New Music Soon?
We’ve been hearing for some time about the possibility of a posthumous Aaliyah album release, but so far we’ve got nothin’. Which, actually, is okay by me. Because I’m still listening to her amazing original tracks, along with recent mash-up remixes featuring Gotye. And it seems like Aaliyah is on a lot of minds these days, especially since there are rumors floating around that Drake might produce an album of her previously unreleased music. Drake (who has proclaimed his love for the late, great R&B singer previously) has been all about her, displaying a new tattoo that is part homage to Toronto, part Aaliyah memorium and also announcing that he plans to produce an album of duets with the singer. But when super producer Timbaland heard the news he wasn’t entirely excited about the idea of an Aaliyah project taking off without him and Missy Elliot, who both played a huge role in Aaliyah‘s unique sound and style. They were also very close friends when Aaliyah was alive. Deets on the prospective project inside:
