Just a few days ago, I blogged about the fact that baby Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, the newborn daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton — the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, turned 1 month old. Today, the royal family finally got around to releasing the first official photos of their baby girl for all the world to see — photos that were shot by Kate herself. A collection of photos of Charlotte, in the arms of her older brother Prince George Alexander Louis, was released on social media and as you can see in the gallery presented here … the little princess and prince are abso-freaking-lutely adorable! I mean … the one where George is kissing Charlotte on the head? OMG. The first photo was given this caption, “We’re delighted to share the first photo of Prince George with his little sister Princess Charlotte” and I can honestly say that we are all delighted to see these photos. Have a look, see how cute little George and even littler Charlotte are in these photos.
If you can believe it, it was a month ago today that Prince William and Kate Middleton — the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — gave birth to their second child … Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Altho we haven’t seen the little miss since the day she was born and left the hospital with her parents, I think it’s safe to assume that the princess has done a bit of growing in the past month. I mean … HELLO! A month? How has it been a month since that baby was born? Ugh. More »
"Kate must have been wearing a fake belly showing to the people that she was pregnant"
Over the weekend, Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed the birth of their second child, a daughter they named Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Almost as soon as Kate and Wills stepped out of the hospital with their newborn princess swaddled in their arms (just hours after she was born), conspiracy theorists started a campaign of theories ranging from claims that the baby was born via surrogate days ago to claims that the baby in Kate‘s arms was a doll. The loudest of these conspiracy theories are coming from Russia, obvs, and are honestly too silly to even consider taking seriously … OR ARE THEY?! More »

You know, it’s a sign of the times when the official birth certificate of a new born princess is shared with the world on Instagram … like we see here with the release of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana‘s certificate of live birth. Official documents like this pertaining to members of the British royal family have been made immediately available to members of the public for many, many years but in this age of social media that immediacy has gotten even more instantaneous. As you can see below, the information on Princess Charlotte‘s birth certificate is pretty standard … but you have to see the occupations listed for her royal parents. Have a look. More »
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana
At last … at last we know the name of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s newborn baby daughter. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge decided to choose Star Wars Day (May 4th) as the day that they announced the name of their just born princess … who the royal couple have named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. I think many people felt pretty certain that the baby girl’s name would have either Diana (for Willy‘s mum) or Elizabeth (for Willy‘s gran) in her name … and now we learn that she has both, after her first name Charlotte (for Willy‘s father Charles — the next in line for the British crown). I love it. The little princess will be known formally as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge … which is a bit title for a wee little girl. More »
No name announcement today, I'm afraid
The newborn Princess of Cambridge has only been born for a day or so and already she is the talk of the town … er, world. Prince Harry, the newborn royal baby’s uncle, has yet to meet the little miss because he is on the other side of the planet doing his royal duties in Australia until the end of May … but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have anything to say about his newborn niece. When asked about the princess’s birth, Harry happily shared his opinion that she is “absolutely beautiful” … a sentiment that pretty much the rest of us have about the second born child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. There's no place like palace
Just hours after we learned that Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed the birth of their second child today and moments after we saw photos of their eldest child, Prince George, making his way into the hospital to meet the newborn princess, we learn that the royal family has already left the hospital bound for home. Prince William and Kate stepped outside the Lido Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital with baby princess in arms just a short time ago … and already home, safe and sound. We still do not know what the couple have named their baby girl but I suspect her name will be announced at some point this weekend. Considering how quickly everything is progressing with royal baby #2, we may get the next big update in about 45 seconds.
Earlier this morning, we learned the happy news that Kate Middleton and Prince William FINALLY welcomed the birth of their second child — a girl! Right now, we get to see the first photos of Prince William bringing his son Prince George to St. Mary’s Hospital to meet the newborn princess for the first time. At this point, we don’t know what the royal couple have decided to name their baby girl but I suspect we’ll get that news shortly. For now, let’s just focus on how big Prince George has grown in the extremely cute photos of him below. More »

A soldier's work is ever done
Back in March we learned that Prince Harry announced that he will be retiring from British military service in June so that he can focus on other royal duties but today we get to see a nice set of new photos of Harry on a recent military deployment in Australia. Altho the prince’s retirement is imminent, he still had this deployment in Oz to complete as well as a deployment in New Zealand next month before he formally retires in June. I previously lamented the fact that we wouldn’t be able to see photos of Harry in his military garb anymore … but thankfully, we still have a few photos to look forward to before his retirement in June. Enjoy.
