Big Boy Georgie
Back in October we got to see what Prince George Alexander Louis, the firstborn child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, looked like all dolled up for his christening but since then, the little dude has been out of public sight … until now. Prince George and his mother Kate have joined her family on their annual holiday trip to the Caribbean and his public emergence has made the cover of Hello! magazine. As you can see below, the little prince isn’t quite so little anymore … but he is still the cutest little royal around. Check out George and mama Kate on the cover of Hello! below. More »
Prince Hairy No Longer
Back in December we got our first look at Prince Harry rocking a full face of ginger facial hair after his weeks long charity trek in Antarctica. As you may recall, we learned earlier this month that Harry‘s grandmother Queen Elizabeth, II was NOT fond of Harry‘s beard and rumor had it she ordered him to shave it off. Harry kept the facial hair for a short time after his grandmother voiced her displeasure with it but … alas, I’m sorry to update that Harry went and shaved off his beard. The prince was reunited with the folks from his Antarctic trek for a press event for Walking with the Wounded and as you can see below, Prince Harry attended the event completely clean shaven. Boo. THE QUEEN MUST BE STOPPED
Remember last month when we got an eyeful of the big, bushy, bristly ginger beard that Prince Harry grew on his charity trek to the South Pole? Remember how good that beard looked on the young prince? Yeah, well, not everyone is a fan of Prince Hairy … namely, Queen Elizabeth, II. It is being reported that the queen is SO not feeling Harry‘s facial hair that she has ordered that he shave it off. Can you believe it?! It remains to be seen if Harry will comply with his grandmother’s wishes because I understand he wants to keep the beard long enough to show it to his girlfriend Cressida Bonas (probably because he knows it’s a surefire way for him to get lucky when she sees his scuff in person). But, the queen is The Queen so … Harry‘s bearded days may be numbered :( More »
Ginger Beard Hawtness
Last week we learned that Prince Harry, actor Alexander Skarsgård and others successfully made their way to Antarctica on foot in order to raise funds for the Walking with the Wounded Foundation which benefits wounded military personnel. At the time, we saw photos of Harry sportin’ a bit of facial hair that was grown during his 200 mile trek of Antarctica. Today we get to see new photos of Harry showing off a pretty full face of ginger beard hotness and as you can see below, it’s a very good look for the lad. Behold, Prince Hairy! More »
The End of the World
A few weeks ago Prince Harry and a team of trekkers began a journey to reach the South Pole at the bottom of the planet in an effort to raise money for charity. Today, on lucky Friday the 13th, Harry and his team successfully made it to the South Pole and did so without any accidents or injuries. The Walking With The Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge pitted 3 teams against one another in a race to the South Pole with all proceeds from the event to benefit the Walking With the Wounded organization. The hope is that two million pounds will be raised for the charity. Click below to see photos of Harry‘s arrival at the South Pole and learn more about this really remarkable event. More »
Your MUST WATCH Video of the
So, Prince William (the current Duke of Cambridge and future King of England) played host at a charity gala that raised money and awareness for the homeless people of Centrepoint and joined Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift on stage for a rousing acoustic rendition of the song Livin’ On A Prayer. Folks, as amazing as this sounds, you ain’t seen NOTHING until you’ve watched the video above. Jon gets the party started by singing the song solo but once Taylor and Prince Wills get on stage … things really get cookin’. At first, Taylor‘s very awkward dancing/clapping thing that she did was the most cringe-worthy part of the performance … but then it becomes painfully evident that Prince William doesn’t know the words to the song (except for the chorus which is so famous that I bet even baby Prince George could sing along as well). Then Prince William started touching his nose frantically like that kid does in the movie Dazed and Confused … which either means that Willy was high or just REALLY REALLY NERVOUS (I bet he wished he had smoked the smokey smoke beforehand, tbqh). At around the 1:53 mark, Jon Bon Jovi brings the song home, Taylor hangs in there with him and Prince William has no idea what to do except nod along, try to mime a few of the words correctly and look over at Jon and Taylor and NOT at all of the cameras trained on him as he sweats thru his expensive tuxedo. Lord, it’s priceless. Watch the video, try not to cringe out of your skin. Enjoy.

Representing Wills & Kate in "heraldic terms as a married couple"
Back in April of 2011, to coincide with the coming British Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, we learned that the Middleton family (Kate included) got their own family coat of arms. Kate, as new royal, then got her own coat of arms. Today we learn that Kensington Palace as taken things one step further and have formally unveiled a conjugal coat of arms that represents both Wills and Kate as a married royal couple. The lion of Will‘s coat of arms is married with Kate‘s unicorn to make a new, joint coat of arms for the couple. I dunno what all of this means, exactly, but it sounds so terribly important in British terms, don’t it? More »
The Duchess trades in Diaper Doodie for Royal Duties
Yesterday we learned that new dad Prince William has decided to leave the British military so that he can focus on his royal duties as Duke of Cambridge (as well as spend more quality time with his newborn son Prince George Alexander Louis) and today we learn that his wife Kate Middleton is ready to resume her royal duties as Duchess of Cambridge as well. Kate joined Wills on the red carpet of the Tusk Conservation Awards in London last night … which was her first official royal appearance since giving birth in July. Naturally, she looked amazing.
