Yesterday we saw photos of Jake Gyllenhaal out and about in West Hollywood, CA this weekend enjoying a leisurely breakfast with an older woman on Saturday morning. But by Sunday afternoon, Jake had traded that older woman for a much younger woman picked to be his date to the Golden Globe Awards last night. Jake didn’t bring just any ol’ chick to the fête with him, no siree, he asked his ex-girlfriend (and Rilo Kiley frontwoman) Jenny Lewis to accompany him. Those of you who watch RHOBH know that castmember Lisa Vanderpump houses a “permanent houseguest” named Cedric Martinez in her multi-million dollar home. Happy news, 90′s music fans … the amazing Swedish duo Roxette (made up of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle) are back with a new single and a new album!! The band played a show in Warsaw, Poland to celebrate the New Year and from what I understand, they sounded fantastic. Their new single She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio) is already out and their album Charm School is due for release in February … are you as ready for the return of Roxette as I am?! More »

Last Tuesday we learned the sad news that married couple Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson decided to end their marriage and a couple of days later, Scarlett showed up in Jamaica with her BFFs in an effort to get away from all the media attention. This weekend, she made her way back to NYC and was reportedly spotted in the close company of her estranged husband Ryan Reynolds. According to People magazine, the couple enjoyed a “friendly meal” together in an effort to remain cordial with one another as they move forward with their divorce … because, apparently, the couple are not reconciling: More »

Eva Longoria & Tony Parker Reconciling Over BBQ?

Last month we learned that Eva Longoria filed for divorce from her hubby and San Antonio Spurs basketball player Tony Parker amid allegations that he cheated on her emotionally with a teammate’s wife. Just a few days later, Tony filed divorce papers of his own. Earlier this month, Eva and Tony reunited for a lunch date together here in SoCal presumably to discuss their pending divorce. Today, we get to see a new photo, courtesy of TMZ, that shows Eva Longoria chatting with Tony at a BBQ joint/gas station in San Antonio, TX this week … could a reconciliation be in the works?

Eva Longoria flew a few thousand miles to be with Tony Parker yesterday, dining on good ol’ Texas BBQ. The picture shows Eva — dressed in black and wearing a black hat — at Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q, just north of San Antonio. Tony is behind the pillar. Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ Eva flew to Texas to spend time with Tony. We’re told it was all very friendly. The restaurant — actually it’s a gas station with a BBQ pit out back — is a couple of miles from the huge house that Tony and Eva recently built. The divorce is still on, but one source connected with the couple says not to rule out the chance for a reconciliation.

Now, either this BBQ joint/gas station has got some great grub or Eva and Tony are really working behind the scenes to at the very least stay friendly thru their divorce … or at best, to work on staying together. If the couple have already met twice already, then they’ve prolly met other times that we don’t know about. Eva and Tony‘s dueling divorce papers filing came pretty fast … mebbe they rushed into things? I guess we’ll know soon enough if the couple are really dunzo or if their dunzoness is dunzo.

Britney Spears’s Parents Are Together Again

Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t the only couple celebrating their happy relationship today … Britney Spears‘s once-estranged parents Lynne and Jamie Spears are also celebrating their rekindled love together. After many years divorced and separated, Lynne and Jamie are reportedly working on a reconcilation that would mend their failed marriage!

Britney Spears’s s parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears, are reconciling eight years after their divorce. “They are back together and are doing well and happy,” a source tells PEOPLE. “[They're] not remarried but back together.” The couple, who divorced in 2002, were looking friendly on Saturday at Los Angeles lounge Boudoir. Onlookers at the lounge spotted Lynne and Jamie cheering and dancing as DJ Mr. Best spun Britney’s hits, like “Toxic” and “Gimme More.” “They were in a great mood together,” says an onlooker. “They were laughing together – dancing and laughing [and] totally having fun.” “Lynne is a dear, sweet person,” a family friend tells PEOPLE. “She deserves happiness. As her friend, my wish for her would be a happy ending.”

Aww … what great news. Despite the fact that the couple couldn’t make their relationship work before, it sounds like they’ve really grown very close and very fond of one another in recent months. I think it would be really fantastic if Lynne and Jamie could find love together again. While her parents have been bizzy gettin’ back together again, our dear Britney Spears has been doing her own thing around town:


Britney has been workin’ at the recording studio on the days she’s not shopping up a storm around SoCal. I doubt that Britney will be commenting publicly anytime soon about her parents’ reported reconciliation but something tells me that she’s prolly very happy that her mama and papa are back together again.

Lindsay & Michael Lohan Reunite For The First Time In 7 Months

Lindsay Lohan, who is currently rehabbing at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA for the rest of the year (that is, when she’s not out shopping with friends), finally deigned to meet with her estranged father Michael Lohan (who currently has a warrant out for his arrest) this weekend. Father and daughter have not seen one another up-close and personal for 7 months … but this weekend, they were joyfully reunited at last:

Lindsay Lohan has reunited with her estranged father Michael at the Californian rehabilitation clinic where she is receiving treatment for drug addiction, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned. “It was an emotional reunion… there were hugs, kisses and even a few tears when Michael and Lindsay first saw each other,” a source with knowledge of the meeting revealed to RadarOnline.com. It is a stunning and dramatic turnaround for the 24-year-old Hollywood wild child, who has perpetually blamed her one-time drug addict dad for her problems. The pair met soon after 1pm on Sunday at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California, we’re told. “Lindsay met Michael at Betty Ford and the pair spent hours together… it was not a fleeting encounter, this appeared well-planned in advance,” the source said. “They also went shopping at a local Palm Desert mall, where they were seen walking around together and at one point, were in a jewelry store.” When RadarOnline.com contacted the Lohan patriarch for comment about the encounter, the 50-year-old dad-of-four remained tight-lipped: “I have pledged not to comment about anything relating to my daughter. However, what I will say is that I am an incredibly proud father tonight. My daughter is progressing extraordinarily well.”

It is being reported that the meeting came about by Lindsay‘s request … which is a bit surprising considering how angry she has been with Daddy Lohan for the past few years. You may recall that Lindsay admitted that she blames her father for most of her problems. Still, I guess it’s encouraging that she is willing to forgive her father enough to spend time with him … even if he is THE worst father in the world. Ugh. Even when there’s reasonably positive Lohan news to share, it’s still pretty smarmy. Will this reunion open up a new chapter in the relationship between father and daughter? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. What do y’all think? Is this reunion a good thing or a bad thing?

On-again / Off-again couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were so off-again this Summer that the couple broke up twice … first in June and then, for serious, in August. Well, the off-again nature of Liley‘s torrid romance is off-again … er, meaning that the couple are on-again. Got it? Miley has been away from SoCal for the past few months working on new films in Detroit, MI and Paris, France … but this week, she returned home to LA and the waiting lips of apparent on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Here are photos of the reunited lovebirds makin’ out like crazy in her car here in SoCal this week:

Absence makes the heart go fonder – just ask Miley Cyrus. The 17-year-old was caught in a very passionate clinch with her on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, 20, in Los Angeles yesterday. The Disney star was dropping the Australian actor off after an outing together, with the couple’s farewell kissing session lingering for more than ten minutes. Hemsworth’s spokesperson revealed the pair, who first met on the set of teen drama The Last Song in 2009, had split last month But it’s clear their separation is most certainly over. The first sign they had rekindled their romance came over the weekend when they were spotted running errands together. An eyewitness told People: ‘Miley and Liam kept smiling and seemed to really enjoy their afternoon together. They acted like they had missed each other, kept chatting and seemed to be catching up. They definitely seemed like a couple again. Since Miley returned to LA from [a movie shoot in] Europe earlier in the week, she has acted a bit tired and worn out,’ the source continued. ‘With Liam back in her life on Saturday, she acted totally different and, instead, seemed very happy. It looked like Miley and Liam had never been apart, and they were back into their old routine.’ Miley has been filming LOL: Laugh Out Loud alongside Ashley Greene and Demi Moore in recent months. She plays the lead role of Lola in the coming-of-age film about a school girl and her friends making their way in a world connected by YouTube iTunes, and Facebook. During filming Miley was spotted getting cosy on and off-screen with her handsome male co-star, Douglas Booth.

Jamie Lynn Spears & Casey Aldridge Are Together Again

Back in February we learned that unmarried parents Jamie Lynn Spears and her babydaddy Casey Aldridge had broken up and that JL had found comfort in the company of an older man. Since that time, Jamie Lynn and Casey have been pretty much out of the spotlight with errant photos of the pair both together and apart showing up on Facebook. Today we get to see new photos of Casey-Lynn lookin’ very much reconciled as they along with daughter Maddie Briann hang out with JL‘s parents Lynne and Jamie Spears here in SoCal. It would appear that the break-up is off and that the couple have reunited again:

Last year, Jamie Lynn Spears’ relationship was in tatters amid allegations fiancée Casey Aldridge cheated on her with a neighbour. But now the pair, who have a daughter Maddie, are giving their romance a second chance. They were spotted on a family day out at Universal Citywalk in Los Angeles where they treated their 2-year-old to toys and sweet treats. The 19-year-old also took along her parents Lynne, 55, and Jamie, 58, for the family outing. Jamie Lynn, who had a brief relationship with businessman James Watson this year, and Casey, 20, are ‘are working on things between them,’ a source tells America’s People magazine. They recently attended a Lady Gaga concert together with along with Jamie Lynn’s famous sister Britney and her boyfriend, Jason Trawick.

To be honest, I’m glad to see that Jamie Lynn and Casey are back together … or, at the very least, are working on being together again. I think it was the best thing for the young couple to relocate to Kentwood, Lousiana so that they could try and raise their daughter together in relative peace. Whether it’s true or not that Casey cheated on JL or that JL hooked up with an older man after they split is irrelevant if the couple have decided to put the past behind them and move forward as a family. Raising a child is no easy task for anyone … let alone teenage children. At least it looks like they are being as responsible as possible when it comes to raising Maddie Brianne. We’ll have to wait and see if it lasts … but this is a good sign, I think. Do y’all think these two will live happily ever after?
