Actor John Stamos celebrated his 50th birthday in Hollywood, CA this week and among the 200 or so guests at his birthday fest were some of his former Full House castmembers. Stamos was joined by his on-screen wife Lori Loughlin as well as his co-star Bob Saget and his TV nieces Candace Bure (née Candace Cameron) and Ashley Olsen. From the look of all the photos these folks shared on social media, it look like a great time was had by all. No. I don't think you understand. JT. SLAYYYYEeeeedddd.
So apparently. I was not ready for Justin Timberlake last night! On some real, for real shizz I just became a bigger fan of his than I ever thought I could be, and I’ll tell you why. He. Put. On. A. Show. Like, for reals. JT was the recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and he did exactly what you’re supposed to do when you receive any award named after Michael Jackson– he entertained the living bejeezus out of us. Loved his performance, loved his medley of hits, and of course, there was the short but sweet, highly-anticipated *NSync reunion. Everyone was losing their shizz on Facebook when JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick hit the stage with Justin (hai PITNBr Dezden), and I felt like I could lit’rally hear the screams from Brooklyn, LOL. Peep the video for more!
What did you guys think of the performance? Were you disappointed by the reunion performance? Or too psyched to care that it only lasted, like 67 seconds?

But The Reunion Is Sans D. Woods :/
It sounds like there’s a helluva lot going down during the MTV Video Music Awards tonight. Yesterday we basically got confirmation about that *NSync reunion performance, and we also know that folks like Lady Gaga and Kanye West will be hitting the stage. During the last couple of weeks I’ve also been hearing whisperings about a Danity Kane reunion, and now it looks like it’s officially going down! Click inside for more!

Joey Fatone's Father Spills the Beans
Last week a rumor sprung up that claimed that the members of *NSync would be reuniting on stage for a performance (or something) at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards this weekend. A day later, *NSync member Lance Bass talked about the rumor … without either confirming or denying the reunion report. Today we learn that the reunion is almost certainly going to happen NOT because any member of *NSync has confirmed the rumor … but because Joey Fatone‘s father went ahead and spilled the reunion beans. Once the word got out that the reunion was deffo happening, E! News‘s Marc Malkin was able to sniff more more deets about what the boyband are planning to do for the MTV VMAs on Sunday night. More »

OMFG!! Throwback Thursday becomes FLASHBACK FRIDAY
Holy Shizz, y’all! This is pretty damn AMAZING! Ethan Embry, the actor who played Mark (with a C) in the 1995 movie Empire Records posted a photo on his official Twitter profile that features an impromptu reunion of many of the guys who also star in Empire Records. Ethan doesn’t disclose where the photo was taken or under what circumstances, all we get is an AMAZING group shot photo that features 5 of the Empire guys as they look today (UPDATE: I think the guys took this photo at a screening of Empire Records that took place here in SoCal last night — I COULD KILL MYSELF FOR MISSING IT!!!). Click below to see the full size image and go back in time with me to 1995 so that we can DAMN THE MAN, SAVE THE EMPIRE. More »

Brenda, Kelly & Steve Together Again
"the bitches *are* back"
OMG … so, back in March I learned that Veruca Salt, one of my ALL-TIME favorite bands, launched official Facebook and Twitter accounts and judging on the photos (both old and NEW) that they have been posting in the months since, it seemed pretty evident that the band had gotten back together to possibly reunite for a tour … or something. I had a feeling that the band was up to something and I’ve been hoping that they might be up for playing some of their amazing old music together. Today I am happy to report that according to the band itself, they’re not only rehearsing old material … they’re making NEW music as well! I KNOW that there are a LOT of Veruca Salt fans out there who are LOSING THEIR SHIZZ right along side me right now. AHHHH! The band posted some photos over the weekend that show the foursome — Louise Post, Nina Gordon, Steve Lack and Jim Shapiro — rehearsing and working on “new songs” which you MUST see below immediately! A Few Of Our Faves Were Missing
Ever since we learned about the upcoming Boy Meets world spinoff show Girl Meets World, we’ve seen little reunion gatherings here and there. Original cast members like Rider Strong have visited the set of the new show, and a bunch of the old gang got together at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas. The cast spoke on a panel about the hit 90s show, and Twitter and Instagram were all abuzz with photos from the big day. Danielle Fishel (Topanga), Will Friedle (Eric), William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), and Anthony Tyler Quinn (Mr. Turner) were missing from the fun, but apparently Fishel taped a message to fans. Peep the gallery for more, and click inside for an adorable Vine from the event!
Half is Better than None
Last month I got to see Johnny Marr of The Smiths live in concert during weekend 1 of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA but last night, he performed a concert in Brooklyn, NY that leaves me seething with envy. During his set, Johnny brought up a fellow member of The Smiths for a performance of classic single How Soon Is Now? Bassist Andy Rourke joined Johnny on stage last night for, essentially, what turned out to be a 50% reunion of The Smiths. Check out the embed above to see this mini-reunion and seethe with jealousy along with me.
Also, I wonder how many times Morrissey has watched this clip already ;)
