Matthew Perry Is Planning A Return To Rehab

Former Friends star Matthew Perry has released a statement announcing that he will be going away for a while in order to work on his addictions. Altho Perry‘s people insist that he has not suffered a relapse, they make clear that this month-long stint in rehab is part of his on-going recovery. You may know that Perry returned to TV recently in the ABC series Mr. Sunshine, so it’s possible that he is just making sure he stays clean so that he can return to the show when the new TV season starts up in the Fall. Whitney Houston Is In Rehab

I’ve got a bit of sad news to pass along today … it turns out that Whitney Houston has checked herself into an outpatient rehab program for drug and alcohol addiction. As you may recall, I reported that Whitney surprised the audience at the Prince concert last Thursday night by jumping on stage to perform with both Chaka Khan and Prince himself. Seann William Scott Goes To Rehab

Actor Seann William Scott, who is known most famously for his role as Steve Stifler in the American Pie films, has announced that he has entered a rehab treatment facility to get a better grip on “health and personal issues”. At this point, we don’t know for sure what these “health and personal issues” are but they must be pretty significant if Seann is willing to voluntarily submit himself to rehab for treatment. More »

For some unknown reason (except, mebbe, for media whore pandering), Michael Lohan has been cast to appear in the upcoming new season of (charlatan) Dr. Drew Pinksy‘s reality TV series Celebrity Rehab. As you may recall, Lohan appeared in Florida recently to counsel a group of troubled teens there on the dangers of addiction and now he is going to “rehab” himself. Lindsay Lohan is, reportedly, pissed off as Hell that her father is going on the show because she believes that he will only serve to embarrass her family. Um … I think the ship has sailed on that front, Linds. The Lohan family name is a complete joke already (to the point where Michael Lohan, Jr. is planning to change his name completely). For some reason totally unknown to me, Michael Lohan — trainwreck father of his even more trainwrecky daughter Lindsay Lohan — was asked to counsel troubled rehabbing teens in Florida. As a result, Lohan flew across the country to talk to the young kids before he flew back early this morning to attend Lindsay‘s felony grand theft court hearing. All in a days’ work for Daddy Lohan. Aaron Carter Checks Out Of Rehab

A few weeks ago we learned that former popstar turned trainwreck Aaron Carter checked himself into the Betty Ford Center rehab facility in order to try and overcome his addictions … today we learn that he has checked OUT and is a free man once again. After spending about a month in treatment, Carter left rehab and is reportedly working on a new album. More »

It’s been a few days since we learned that Charlie Sheen would commit himself to 3 months of rehab … and then learned that his rehab treatment will take place in his own home. Today we get to hear from Sheen himself because he is finally speaking publicly about his latest bout of drama … oh yeah, we also learn that Sheen will not be committing himself to 3 months of rehab … it’ll actually be more like 3 weeks of in-house treatment. Yesterday we learned the encouraging news that troubled actor Charlie Sheen decided to commit himself to 3 months of rehab treatment. Today we learn that that news isn’t really as encouraging as we may have thought. Sheen was reportedly due to seek rehab treatment from the Promises Rehab Facility in Malibu, CA (a place infamous for not successfully treating famous celebrities) but today we learn that Sheen will, instead, get his 3 months of rehab … at his home. Earlier today we learned that troubled actor David Arquette checked himself out of rehab after 3 weeks of treatment and right now we learn that the more troubled actor Charlie Sheen has committed himself to 3 months of rehab treatment. As you may recall, Sheen checked himself into rehab on Friday after he was famously hospitalized the morning after a 36-hour drug-fueled porno party at his home. I believe this 3 month stint in rehab will be his most significant voluntary commitment to his rehabilitation. More »

At the start of this month, troubled actor David Arquette checked himself in to rehab so that he could better learn how to handle his addictions. Today we learn that Arquette checked himself out of rehab over the weekend, presumably because he is now better equipped to control his messy behavior. More »
