Plus, she's been sued and cut off from any help from her sister Kyle
Ugh. When it rains, it really pours for Kim Richards of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fame. After a tumultuous season of RHOBH, Kim was arrested back in April on charges of public drunkenness (among other things) which resulted in a trip to rehab. Not long after she checked herself in, Kim left rehab so that she could attend her daughter’s wedding … and ended up ruining the nuptials by turning into an inebriated mess — which alienated her from her daughter. Today I have a lot of Kim updates to share — first, she’s back in rehab. Second, Bravo has decided to downgrade Kim from being a main castmember on RHOBH. Third, Kim is being sued by a woman who was bit by her “violent” dog. Fourth, Kim‘s sister Kyle and her husband Mauricio have reportedly decided to cut ties and support from Richards, believing that the only way she will get better is if she deals with own problems completely on her own. Dang. Things are really piling up on top of Kim these days. More »
Thank the old gods and the new
After she got arrested for public drunkenness (among other charges) a couple of weeks ago and after she appeared on the Dr. Phil show to “get help” for her addiction issues, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has wisely decided to check in to a rehab treatment facility to get the help that she really needs. Kim previously did a stint in rehab and has vehemently maintained that she has remained sober ever since (which was a point of contention on the most recent season of RHOBH when it was painfully apparent that she wasn’t completely sober on the show) but it’s clear that she has decided to get more help — which is really great news, I think. "He won't let go of the guilt"
Yesterday we learned that Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s boyfriend, agreed to be interviewed for the Dr. Phil show in a seeming attempt to exploit Bobbi Kristina‘s failing health for television gain. Today we learn that the interview has already been taped … and it turns out that it wasn’t an interview after all. Gordon‘s mother Michelle colluded with Dr. Phil McGraw to stage an on camera intervention that resulted in Nick‘s decision to check in to rehab after the interview was taped. It would appear that Dr. Phil was not only able to exploit Bobbi Kristina‘s failing health but also Nick Gordon‘s struggles with addiction and suicidal thoughts in one fell swoop for his TV show. Impressive. More »

He's had two DUIs since 2004
Just a few days ago we learned that Michael Phelps, the most decorated gold medalist in Olympic history, had been busted for a second DUI. I think we can all agree that everyone makes mistakes, but at a certain point you have to try to figure out if there’s a pattern. For some of us, 2 DUIs in ten years does not sound so bad (especially in comparison to some other celebrities we follow). But Phelps has decided that it’s two too many, and he’s seeking help at rehab. I think that makes a lot of sense. Click inside for more.

I’m sure you all remember Denzel Washington‘s brilliant performance in the 2012 movie Flight. Interestingly enough, I just got the chance to interview the woman who played his love interest in the movie (Kelly Reilly), and we had this great chat about how your performance as an actor can directly effect how you feel and who you are as a person. I’ve always found Denzel Washington‘s choices in characters interesting, and I wonder now if there’s a reason he took on certain roles in movies like Flight and Man on Fire. We’re now hearing that, after a heavy month of drinking, the actor reportedly spent some time in a detox clinic. Click inside for more.

"I'm OK, I feel strong."
A couple of days ago we learned that Tracy Morgan was released from a rehab facility and was allowed to go HOME in the wake of the deadly car accident that he was involved in last month. Today we get our first look at Tracy walking on his own two feet (with the aid of a walker) as he made his way into his car to be taken home from the rehab center. As you can see in the embed above, Tracy was all smiles when he saw the photogs and he happily threw up a peace sign before he got into his car saying, “I’m OK, I feel strong.” It’s really great to see his smiling face again, isn’t it? I have every confidence that he will be back to normal in no time :D

On the right track
Yesterday we learned that Tracy Morgan is involved in what will surely be a huge lawsuit against Walmart. One of their truck drivers may have been suffering from exhaustion when he allegedly crashed into Morgan‘s limo bus, killing Morgan‘s good friend and mentor James McNair. The comedian himself suffered critical injuries and has been in a rehabilitation facility since the accident. I’m happy to report that today, he’s going home. Click inside for more!

12 steps in the right direction
After his arrest in NYC last week, it was reported that troubled actor Shia LaBeouf had checked into a rehab treatment facility. Today we learn officially that Shia is not actually seeking rehab treatment, instead he is seeking treatment for an alcohol problem. LaBeouf‘s press rep has issued a statement that makes it fairly clear that Shia has enrolled in a 12 step Alcoholics Anonymous program, which sounds like the best Shia LaBeouf news in years. More »

Last week actor Shia LaBeouf got arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass after he allegedly caused a disruption during a performance of the musical Cabaret on Broadway. Today we learn that Shia has reportedly checked himself into a rehab program … but then, apparently, checked himself out (it’s possible he is seeking out-patient treatment). It’s unclear exactly what is going on with him because his behavior as of late has been extremely erratic but if Shia is even considering getting some help in a rehab program then I would definitely take that as a positive sign. "I'm so blessed"
Way back in early January we learned that popstar Ke$ha checked herself in to rehab to seek treatment for an eating disorder and today we learned that Ke$ha has completed her rehab stint and is already back on Twitter tweeting away. As you may know, Ke$ha‘s original Twitter username used to be @keshasuxx but now that she’s got a new lease on life, she’s got the new Twitter handle @KeShaRose (which is much nicer, don’t you think?) and a new $-less name. Kesha is sharing new photos on Twitter along with short messages to her fans. Click below to see what the freshly rehabbed Kesha has to say these days. More »
