Bravo's $200,000 Investment Didn't Really Pan Out
If you’ve been watching Bravo‘s Million Dollar Decorators, then you know how the typical episode is supposed to go. Kathryn Ireland comes into some fancy schmancy home, gives it a makeover, and then the homeowners show up for the ‘big reveal,’ and gush and weep all over their gorgeous new pad (Disclaimer: I’ve never watched the show… I’m just assuming). But it doesn’t really work without that big reveal, right? Well, Lindsay Lohan (who’s been enjoying a pretty drama-free holiday season) apparently does not get that because she just backed out of filming that scene for her episode of the show, and the folks at Bravo are obviously pissed. They did spend $200,000 renovating her spot, so… yeah. Now Lindsay did do some filming, and you can watch a clip above. Click inside to read more about the drama. It’s LiLo!

MTV Goes Uptown, Baby
As we know by now, MTV‘s Jersey Shore is officially DUNZO. The last episode aired the other night, which means it’s time to move on… to more MTV reality shows, lol. Snooki & JWOWW are coming back for another season, and we also saw a trailer for a very scripted-looking series called Buckwild. But I couldn’t help but get a little excited when I saw the preview for a new show, Washington Heights. A few summers ago I had the time of my life subletting a sweet little apartment in the Heights, a predominantly Dominican neighborhood in wayyyy uptown Manhattan. MTV just released a promo for the new show, which will focus on the trials and tribulations of young people from the area looking to accomplish big things. Truthfully, doesn’t look all that exciting, but I have such fond memories of my time there (mainly getting my hair done in their friggen awesome salons), I’m probably gonna check it out. Peep the video for more!
Washington Heights premieres with back-to-back episodes at 10 p.m., January 9, on MTV.

"Are You Ready For This?"
I’m not gonna front– I kinda rolled my eyes when I saw that this trailer was out. A lot of people are over the Jersey Shore thing (what with the show being, you know, over) and we’ve seen sooo many amazing pictures of baby Lorenzo, I didn’t really see the point in another Snooki & JWoww season (although I know PITNBR Dezden will wholeheartedly disagree with me, lol). However, I watched the trailer… and I was kinda, sorta into it! I like that the focus really does seem to be on Snooki‘s new life as a Mom and JWoww‘s new life as a wannabe fiance (even if we already know she gets the ring in the end). Peep the video for more! Anybody else into it?
That-Ish-Cray Of The Day
LMAO. I literally did a double (and then a triple) take when I read this headline on Complex. Totally thought my eyes were deceiving me. But it wasn’t so. A celebrity diving competition show… featuring… JWOWW?! I… cannot! As in, I cannot believe this is real. Which is why it falls under today’s That-Ish-Cray Of The Day. Will It Work For American Audiences?
Remember back in July when we saw a trailer for Rihanna‘s UK fashion competition show? Well, apparently, it didn’t do so well overseas. It was poorly reviewed and went the way of DUNZO after just one season. PITNBR nicole kinda called it when she suggested that Rihanna chill on all the extra-curricular projects, lol. Part of the problem with the show seemed to be Rihanna‘s way-too-hectic schedule. But anyhoo, the Style Network is now picking up the series, in hopes that the show will have more success here in the States. Click inside to learn more!

Because We DESPERATELY Needed A Down South 'Jersey Shore'
Okay. This is the part where we all pretend that we’ll be too busy reading Les Misérables and eating, like, expensive macaroon cookies to watch this show. LMAO! I’m totally gonna watch at least one episode, y’all (right after I read Les Miz and eat a macaroon cookie). Buckwild is MTV‘s latest reality show and it will be taking the old Jersey Shore time slot, since Seaside’s finest are in their final hours. Peep the trailer above… if you’re into West Virginia, and young people… who make human slingshots… and love mud slides… and hooking up… and beer… and hot wings. Holla!
Buckwild premieres January 3, 2013 on MTV.

'I Think That Mariah... Met Her Match This Time'
Uh-oh. Yesterday we got our first look at Nicki Minaj: My Truth, the three part special set to air on E! tonight. I didn’t think the original trailer showed anything reeeeallly interesting, but this preview kinda makes me want to tune in. I could really care less about the Nicki/Mariah beef, but I know a lot of people will watch for that… and Nicki says some ish in this new preview that will surely send Mariah fans through the roof. But the behind-the-scenes stuff kinda fascinates me and in the preview we also get to see her recording new material, like Freedom a song she just released on iTunes last night. Nicki totally comes off like a diva (and she is one), but sometimes when I see her, I just see that sweet little girl from Queens, lol. So yeah, I’m probably gonna check this out.
Nicki Minaj: My Truth airs tonight at 10:30 pm EST on E!
Family Members Are Very Concerned
Last week we got our first look at the new Lifetime reality series The Houstons: On Our Own. Now I, for one, had no real plans to watch the show, but stumbled across the premiere the other night and had the unfortunate experience of watching the last five minutes of the show. It was bad and by ‘it was bad’ I mean ‘Bobbi Kristina was completely wasted’ (words slurring and all) for the final scene. Her father, Bobbi Brown, just got his second DUI of the year and we know addiction played a major part in the untimely death of her mother Whitney Houston. It really, really sucked to see Bobbi Kristina like that and it sucks to hear that her drinking may have gotten worse since filming for the reality show wrapped. Click inside for more.
Naomi, Karolina Kurkova, And Coca Rocha Face Off
I know, I know. Another day, another competitive reality show, right? But Oxygen‘s The Face has something those other shows don’t– Naomi friggen Campbell. Not into Naomi? There’s also Karolina Kurkova. Not a Kurkovian? How ’bout the Canadian-born Coco Rocha? And if you’re not into her then you’re at least obsessed with Nigel Barker (formerly of America’s Next Top Model), because everybody’s into him right? Lol, anyway… The Face is kinda like The Voice, where supermodels scout a group of protégés who then face off against each other. The drama in the promo (which is actually a collection of 3 teaser promos) is totally fake, but that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna check it out! What do you guys think? And– perhaps just as important– what does Tyra Banks think?
