Remember earlier this month when we learned that Mariah Carey was co-directing a new Jenny Craig commercial? Well, it turns out that it wasn’t a commercial that they were filming … it was a public service announcement for the American Heart Association. Mattel Is Planning The Actual Release Of The ‘Back To The Future’ Hoverboard

Last September we learned that Nike decided to release a line of shoes based on the futuristic 2015 shoes that were worn by Marty McFly in the film Back to the Future II (you may also recall that a few weeks later, I was one of the lucky few to procure a pair of the limited edition shoes). Today we learn that Mattel will be releasing later this year a prop replica of the futuristic 2015 hoverboard that was also featured in Back to the Future II. HMMM … don’t you think a hoverboard would go very nicely with the Nike Air Mag shoes? More »

‘The Crow’ Reboot Has A New Director & Screenwriter

On Monday we learned that the presumed dead reboot Crow film found new life and is moving back into production … and today we learn that a director and screenwriter have been found to helm the film. Just days after it was reported that The Crow reboot is back in production, we now learn that F. Javier Gutiérrez has been hired to direct and Jesse Wigutow has been hired to write the script. At this early stage, we don’t know yet who will be cast to play Eric Draven/The Crow but I hope to GAWD they do not ask Bradley Cooper to take the role again. PLEASE, find an unknown who has a chance at doing the character justice. UGH, I’m digressing. The Album Cover For The ‘W.E.’ Soundtrack Is Released

Earlier today we learned that Madonna was on hand last night for the NYC premiere of her directorial debut film W.E. and today we learn that the official motion picture soundtrack for the film is due for release next Tuesday January 31. Along with the press release announcement, we get to check out the official album cover for the W.E. soundtrack. It should be reiterated that the soundtrack to W.E. will include the new Madonna song Masterpiece, which recently won the Golden Globe award for Best Original Song. ‘Dark Shadows’ Releases New Promo Photos

Back in September we got our first look at actor Johnny Depp in character as Barnabas Collins on the UK set of the upcoming Tim Burton-directed remake of Dark Shadows. Later that same month, we got to see the first official promo photos from Dark Shadows HERE and HERE. Today we get to check out a couple new photos from the film in an effort for us to get used to Depp as the ancient vampire. I have to say, I’m having a bit of difficulty with Depp and Burton‘s version of Barnabas Collins but … I am still very excited for the big screen adaptation. Check out the promo images below. More »

The fabulous Betty White will celebrate her 90th birthday next Tuesday January 17 but on Monday the 16th, NBC will pay homage to the enduring Golden Girl with a TV special called Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America’s Golden Girl. This birthday special will feature a host of celebrity stars that will share their Birthday Lurve for our dear Betty. Additionally, the Betty Crocker company is also celebrating their 90th birthday this year … and they graciously provided a massively festive birthday cake for Betty White‘s NBC birthday celebration.
