Listen to her new single 'Run-Time' NOW!
Imogen Heap, who I love SO MUCH, is readying the release of a new album titled Sparks and I am FREAKING out with excited anticipation. I fell in love with Imogen when she toured with Rufus Waiwright on his first US tour way back in the late 90s. Rufus was great on that tour but my first boyfriend and I became obsessed with Imogen. Her debut album didn’t do much here in the US so she released her next album under the moniker Frou Frou and found the success she deserved. I’ve been hearing crazy things about the creation of her new album Sparks, things confirmed by the press release that is posted below. Hoping for "a fruitful working relationship"
Prince has announced today that he is readying the release of a new album with his new band 3rd Eye Girl. He is also announcing that he has re-teamed with his former record label Warner Bros. Records for a new deal that will provide fans the opportunity to have access to “long-awaited, previously unheard music”. As you may know, Prince and WBR enjoyed a long, successful relationship from the late 70′s until the early 90′s … until things soured between the two. Prince was unhappy with his WB contract, WB wouldn’t release him from that contract and Prince changed his name to O(+> and started writing the word SLAVE on his face in an effort to break free from WB Records.
