Penélope Cruz Proves She’s Still A Crowd Favorite At The ‘Twice Born’ Premiere

Oscar-winner and one of my absolute fave actresses ever, Penélope Cruz was at the premiere for her new film Twice Born and I had to share these pics of her! She’s sort of in my ‘can do no wrong’ exclusive category of celebrities and I just love seeing her face, like, anywhere. Penélope was photographed in a sweet little pink number that I totally did not love on her, but who cares? It’s Penélope AKA Maria Elena from Vicki Cristina Barcelona AKA Mirtha from Blow AKA Mrs. Javier Bardem so yeah, no. She gets no real critiques from my end, lol! I’ll leave that up to you fashionistas. What do y’all think of Penélope‘s look? If I could criticize her I’d wish she wore a sexier (or at least better-fitting) dress and I’d want a lil’ more umph in that hair. But no. She’s perfect. Lurve it! Emile Hirsch (Penélope‘s co-star) is another actor I absolutely adore and he’s up in the gallery too. Enjoy!

Joss Whedon’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ Premieres At The Toronto International Film Festival

Remember last October when I let you guys know that I filmed a cameo role in a little movie based on the William Shakspeare play Much Ado About Nothing that was directed by some guy named Joss Whedon? Yeah, well, that film made its worldwide debut at the The Elgin Theatre at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend and many of the film’s principal actors were in attendance. Sadly, I could not attend but folks like Amy Acker (Angel), Alexis Denisof (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel), Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle), Clark Gregg (The Avengers), Tom Lenk (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and others did attend the red carpet premiere in my stead. Jennifer Lawrence Shows Off A Bold New Look At The ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ Premiere

Like much of Hollywood, Jennifer Lawrence has been spending the last few days au Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival. Her latest film Silver Linings Playbook (co-starring Bradley Cooper), debuted and Jennifer looked quite different at the premiere. The Hunger Games starlet looked absolutely striking, hitting the red carpet with a darker shade of hair and lip color than we’re used to seeing on her. I don’t know that I’d always want to see Jennifer like this, but I can appreciate that she’s trying something out. Jennifer rocked a dark multi-colored Christian Dior couture gown with Dior pumps. So you can get a taste of some of the other looks she pulled off in Toronto, there are a few pics in the gallery from other events. At the Silver Linings Playbook press conference her deep brunette locks looked especially amazing against an all-white dress. I love, love, love how she looks in these photos! Her hair’s got a lil more umph to it, lol. Jennifer also attended the premiere of Ryan Gosling‘s new movie, The Place Beyond The Pines. Her look was far less dramatic than that of her own premiere, and she rocked a blue dress with some majorly sexy cat-eye. Peep the gallery for more!

Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes Take Their Lurve To The Red Carpet

Actors Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling worked together on a film titled The Place Beyond the Pines. It was while they filmed that movie together that the couple fell in love. Now, over a year later, the film is making it’s debut at the Toronto International Film Festival … and the love affair of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes is still going strong, apparently. For the first time ever, Ryan and Eva appeared on a red carpet together for the Place Beyond the Pines premiere at TIFF as a couple … OR, merely as film co-stars … you decide. More »

Kristen Stewart And Kirsten Dunst Shine At The ‘On The Road’ Premiere

All eyes were on Kristen Stewart during the red carpet arrivals for her new film On The Road at the Toronto International Film Festival, and the actress did not disappoint. In her first appearance since ish popped off Kristen looked amazing in a Zuhair Murad Couture knee-length dress, and her hair was sleek and super-straight, but still playful. I love, love, love her dress! And I think she made all of the right choices on this night. It would have been interesting if she’d shown up in a black dress with a scarlett letter (as some readers have suggested, lol), but I think this was the better move. Kristen also stopped to sign autographs, and while I love her black Jimmy Choo pumps, I was thrilled to see the pics where she later changed into her kicks, lol. Her co-stars Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund were also in the building. Kirsten went for a beautiful nude dress with a gorgeous red lip. It’s really hard for her to look bad and, although I wish her dress might have popped a bit more, I can’t really complain. Plus– gorgeous red lip! Nice!

What do y’all think of Kristen and Kirsten‘s looks? There’s a major debate going down at Red Carpet Fashion Awards over her hair, lol. Do you likey?

As you all know, we’ve been following the upcoming movie Pitch Perfect very closely. We first saw the hilarious trailer a while back, and we’ve been cracking up at every new Pitch Perfect promo since then. Right now, I am cah-raaazy jealous of our girl Taryn Ryder who was actually in the presence of the one they call Elizabeth Banks. Taryn caught up with Elizabeth at a Pitch Perfect screening and got some exclusive deets on the early beginnings of Pitch Perfect (it was actually a book first) and the brilliant cast– including my girl Rebel Wilson. This year’s much-anticipated Tolstoy adaptation of Anna Karenina recently premiered in London, and Keira Knightley looked ah-mazing! The dress, the au natural look, the Jude Law on her arm– me likey! Benedict Cumberpatch, Aaron Johnson, and other cast members were also on the scene, but Keira (and her dress) really stole the show. Although, I did enjoy that quasi-rugged-woodsman-in-a-suit look that Jude took on… it was pretty hot, lol. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part Two is creeping on a come-up and still no official word on the exact status of Robsten. Not cool! At least, for the studios it’s not cool. Executives of the Twilight franchise are at a bit of a loss as to how they might handle the upcoming premieres, and they’re hoping– against hope– that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will reunite before November for the sake of the movie’s success. And for the fans. That totally makes sense, right? Roll your eyes and shake your head over more details about the studio’s plight during this difficult time, inside.

PITNBR Kiersten (AKA kierstenduck)! You rock! And roll! Yesterday I posted pictures from the Bachelorette premiere in LA and the particular source I used had no photos of my girl Rebel Wilson. I made the mistake of assuming she was not in attendance (partly because we’d recently seen that Bachelorette photo shoot that was sans Rebel) but she was totally there! So this post is dedicated to Kiersten, who took time out of her day to answer my frantic call (“somebody FIND ME REBEL WILSON!“) and posted in the comments a great photo of Rebel at the premiere. Okay, so remember when we got to see that Elle magazine photo shoot with the ladies of Bachelorette and Rebel Wilson (one of the movie’s leads) was not pictured? That was annoying. And lots of PITNBRS wondered if Rebel (not being a size 2 and all) did not fit with the image of the shoot. Well, unfortunately, we’ve got another gallery featuring the Bachelorette cast sans my girl Rebel. I do love these other actresses (even if their performance got a scathing review from PITNBR jg, lol)– Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, and Lizzy Caplan are great fun, but I still wanted to see Rebel! The actresses (along with Final Destination star Ali Larter) hit the red carpet for the premiere of Bachelorette in Los Angeles. Peep the gallery (I love Isla‘s dress but I think it’s doing that weird Jessica Biel-Total Recall-pink-dress thing in the front, lol) and somebody FIND ME REBEL WILSON!
