Angelina Jolie and co-star Elle Fanning were among the attendees at a premiere event in London, England last night called The World of Maleficent at Kensington Palace. This event was a way to showcase some of the costumes and props that were used in Maleficent ahead of the film’s theatrical debut later this month. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Ange and Elle looked utterly fabulous on the blue carpet … as did actor Sam Riley and Angelina‘s main man Brad Pitt. There was a whole lotta hawt glam at The World of Maleficent last night. Behold.
We are a week away from the theatrical release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 here in the US but last night the cast of the film convened in NYC for the US premiere of the film. As you can see in the gallery presented here, stars like Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx (with his cute daughter), Dane DeHaan and more got all dolled up in their finest for the big event. I am SO dying to see this movie already, I can’t even tell you. With the big movie premiere out the way, the only thing left is for the movie to come out so … COME OUT ALREADY :D

From the Red Wedding to the Red Carpet
With just about 2 weeks to go until the season 4 premiere of Game of Thrones on HBO, many members of the cast gathered in NYC for a big premiere event for the show. Click thru the gallery to see who was in attendance and see what they wore on the red carpet last night. Early last week we learned of the report that claims that actress Scarlett Johansson is pregnant with her first child. Since then, we’ve been hearing rumors about how her reported pregnancy is impacting production of the forthcoming superhero sequel film The Avengers: Age of Ultron, but we’ve yet to get official confirmation that she is, in fact, pregs. Last night, Scarlett made her first post-pregnancy reports appearance on the red carpet of the Hollywood premiere of her new film Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Altho ScarJo isn’t really bumping out just yet, she does appear to be a bit more curvy in the photos you can see below. Confirmation of her pregsness? More »
The Muppets take Tinsel Town
The stars of Muppets Most Wanted made their way to the El Capitan Theater for the Hollywood premiere of their new film. Real life actors Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais and Ty Burell were joined by their Muppet co-stars Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and more for last night’s gala affair. As you can see in the gallery presented here, the Muppets made their red carpet arrival in a 2014 Toyota Highlander which was all decked out for their exclusive use. It looks like everyone in attendance had the best time ever. I’m hoping to see Muppets Most Wanted this weekend at an early screening but if not, I’ll be sure to check it out when it hits theaters next Friday March 21.
At last, the movie is OUT
It has been many years since we first learned that RoboCop was being remade as a new film … waaaaay back in 2008 we first heard that plans were in the works to bring RoboCop back to the big screen but it took a long time for casting to get done and for filming to begin. THEN, the movie release date was pushed back from last summer to this winter … and last night, at long last, RoboCop finally premiered in Hollywood. The movie opens in theaters tomorrow and I’m hearing really good things about it. I’m very much looking forward to seeing this new RoboCop film in large part because it is set in the Detroit, MI of the future. Sigh. Click thru the gallery presented here and see some of the film’s stars, including Joel Kinnaman, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Gary Oldman and more, on the red carpet last night. I can’t decide if I’m going to see the movie at midnight tonight or wait until tomorrow. My anxious thirst is real so … we’ll see ;D
"I Am Not Famous Anymore", he says
Shia LaBeouf is doing everything he can, in the wackiest way possible, to generate as much attention to his attempt to inform the world that he is “not famous anymore”. While promoting his new film Nymphomaniac, he delivered one odd line to the assembled journalists at a press conference and then walked out and left the room. Then, later in the day, he walked the red carpet of his movie premiere in Berlin with a paper bag over his entire head with the phrase “I Am Not Famous Anymore” written on it … thereby ensuring that the incident would get more coverage then if he just walked the red carpet without a paper bag over his head. Some people find his behavior “crazy” or “odd” but I, personally, find it calculated and contrived. More »

Saints & Sinners, Gods & Idols
Lana Del Rey has finally unleashed upon the world her much talked about/ballyhooed/anticipated short film Tropico online after she premiered the film at an event in Los Angeles, CA last night. The film has a run time of just over 27 minutes and is … well, interesting. The scenes look like they were shot using Instagram filters and opens with cameo appearances by Jesus Christ, John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Lana in the guise of the Virgin Mary (which isn’t the only religious figure she portrays in this film) … then the really weird (artsy) stuff begins to unfold. If you have the time, it’s worth watching I think. I mean, Hello, we’ve been hearing about this damn Tropico thing for what seems like an eternity so now that it’s out, we might as well see what all the hoopla is about. Along with the premiere of this short film, Lana has announced that she is readying the release of her next album. Click below to find out more about her new music to come. More »
BOOM! You're Pregnant!
David Beckham and One Direction‘s Harry Styles both attended the London premiere of the film The Class of ’92 last night, which is exciting in and of itself, but the fact that the pair posed for photos together on the red carpet before the event makes the occasion all the more epic. Fans of a more mature age tend to love Becks while the younger fans tend to love Harry. Seeing the two of them together, it’s easy to see how fans both old and young can love them both in equal measure. Click below to see a few photos of Becks and Harry together and try not to fall desperately in love. More »
