The TV Guide
Tomorrow is the big day that Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure theme parks will be open for 24 hours to not only kick off the forthcoming summer season (as they have for the past few Memorial Day weekends) but it will also start the celebration for forthcoming 60th Diamond Anniversary of Disneyland which will happen on July 17. I will be at Dland tomorrow with my Sons of Anakin friends but not for the full 24 hours. I’m staying in a hotel tonight so I can work in the morning and then get over to the parks for the rest of the day … it will be fun, crazy … but fun. My plan for tonight, tho, will be fun, too. I’m planning on seeing the new Poltergeist movie at an early showing before the movie opens in full tomorrow. More »

"I'm not a girl trying to be a star. I'm just a girl that sings"
Back in early April, we got to see the first video teaser for the forthcoming documentary film on the life of the late pop singer Amy Winehouse. Today, we get to see the just-released full-length trailer for the film Amy. As you may know, this documentary was filmed with the full support of Amy‘s family … but once the finished film was released, the family has decided to distance themselves from the project. As I understand it, the Winehouse family (Amy‘s father Mitch Winehouse, in particular) doesn’t come off looking too great in this film and they are angry. IMHO, it sounds like they aren’t happy that the truth about Amy‘s life and death are being exposed in this very well reviewed documentary film. I wasn’t the biggest Amy Winehouse fan but her immense talent cannot be denied. This is a film that I’d be very interested in seeing, if only to be reminded of the amazing voice that has been lost to us. Amy opens in select theaters on July 3.

OKAY … it looks like I may have jumped the gun a few days ago when I guessed a few days ago that Taylor Swift was finished releasing character posters for her new music video/mega-movie for her new single Bad Blood because since Friday, she released two more posters — including one featuring Cindy Crawford as a character named Headmistress (you can see 19, YES 19, Bad Blood character posters HERE). Today, we have one more poster reveal … I know, it’s crazy. Taylor has revealed that her BFF Selena Gomez stars in the video as a character named Arsyn and that she will be the lead actress in the vid. Click below to see the FINAL (I hope) poster for Bad Blood. More »
See all 19
For the past week or so, Taylor Swift has been promoting the HECK out of the premiere of her mini-movie music video for her new single Bad Blood, which will debut during the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday night, by releasing character posters for ALL of the folks who will be starring in the video … from Jessica Alba to Kendrick Lamar to Gigi Hadid and more. Today, Taylor has unveiled a second character poster that features the character she will play in the clip, Catastrophe (you may recall she already released a different poster of herself last week). The gallery presented here features all of the Bad Blood character posters which, I’m guessing, is all we are going to get (tho, if more posters are released, I’ll just add them to the gallery here). With 3 more days to go before the Bad Blood video is released, my hunch is that we will see a video teaser sometime this weekend … then the music video in full … which better be damn good considering all this promo hype.

Today we learn that actor Jessica Alba and Victoria’s Secret model Martha Hunt are the latest members of the Bad Blood music video cast. Yep, this looks NOTHING like 'Jem and the Holograms'
Yesterday we got to see a bunch of promo photos from the upcoming live-action movie adaptation of the 1980′s cartoon Jem and the Holograms and, as you should be well aware, the movie that is coming bares no resemblance at all to the original source material … except for the movie title and the character names. Gone is pretty much everything about the original cartoon that made it so special. Today, we get to see the just-released movie trailer and movie poster for this new incarnation of Jem that makes explicitly clear — this is really not a Jem and the Holograms movie. More »
Meet Knockout and Dilemma
Taylor Swift has thus far released 9 different character posters, including one for herself, for the music video for her new single Bad Blood (which will premiere during the Billboard Music Awards this coming Sunday night). As we already know, the music video cast includes Zendaya, Kendrick Lamar, Gigi Hadid and Lena Dunham … to name but a few. Today we get to see two more character posters and learn that supermodel Karlie Kloss and Empire actress Seraya McNeill have also been added to the cast … which continues to grow day by day. More »
Reset the Future
Last month we saw the latest trailer for Terminator: Genisys that reveals a major, game-changing plot twist about the movie — that future John Connor travels back in time as a Terminator! Today, we get to see the first batch of character posters for Genisys that further reiterate this plot-twist by featuring Connor as a Terminator. Click through the gallery to see all of the character posters and see if they inspire you to see Terminator: Genisys when it opens in theaters on July 1.

Meet Slay-Z and The Crimson Curse
After Taylor Swift released the first poster for her new music video Bad Blood, she released two other character posters for the video … giving us our first hint that the music video will actually be more like a mini-movie. Today, she has released two more character posters for the video which, we now learn, will star model Gigi Hadid as Slay-Z and singer Hayley Williams as The Crimson Curse. At present, we know there will be at least 5 bad ass characters in Taylor‘s new music video. You ready? More »
Meet Cut-Throat and Frostbyte
Yesterday we got to see a poster for Taylor Swift‘s new music video Bad Blood, which will be unveiled during the Billboard Music Awards later this month and, for the most part, I figured that would be the last we’d hear about the vid until it was released. Today we get to see TWO more posters for the Bad Blood video, which is a PRETTY good indication that the video is being treated as more than a mere video … it’s turning into a veritable mini-movie (a la those epic videos that Michael Jackson used to put out in his hey day). These two posters introduce singer/actress Zendaya as a character named Cut-Throat and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model Lily Aldridge as Frostbyte … who will either be friend or foe to Taylor‘s character Catastrophe. HMMM. More »
