Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Film ‘Veronika Decides To Die’ Is FINALLY Released Here In The US

Straight to VOD

Remember that movie that Sarah Michelle Gellar filmed in NYC that was titled Veronika Decides to Die? Of course you don’t because she filmed the movie way back in 2008, which is basically a million years ago. Some of you PITNB old schoolers may remember this SMG film because, at the time, I was very excited that Gellar was returning to us for the first time since Buffy the Vampire Slayer went off the air. Since that time, SMG has starred in two failed TV shows — Ringer on The CW and The Crazy Ones on CBS — and Veronika was never released … until now. Almost 7 years after it was filmed, Veronika Decides to Die is finally being released here in the US … via Video On Demand. Click below to learn more/be reminded of this new old SMG movie and watch a clip of footage from Veronika Decides to Die. More »

"Is it too late to change the name?"

Thus far we’ve seen an ant-sized teaser video and a human-sized teaser video for the first full trailer for the upcoming Marvel Studios superhero movie Ant-Man. Today we get to see the actual first trailer for the film. The trailer, which you can watch in full above, debuted during the limited series premiere of the new Marvel Studios superhero TV series Agent Carter which aired on ABC last night … and then it was immediately released online. I think it’s a great first look at the movie, particularly for those of us who aren’t familiar with this character or his mythos. ‘Spice’d Up My World

The TV Guide

So, let me tell you about my Saturday. I decided to take it easy yesterday and not really plan to do too much. I spent some time in the afternoon running some errands, digging through vinyl bins at Origami Vinyl in Echo Park (where I found Twisted Sister) and High Fidelity in Los Feliz (where I found Aretha Franklin) … taking the day nice and slow. For a few weeks, I marked my calendar for the midnight movie showing of the 1998 movie Spice World by Spice Girls at the Cinefamily movie theater in West Hollywood … and last night was the night. I chilled out and napped for a bit on the couch last evening so that I would be all relaxed for my midnight movie. At about 11:20, I got dressed again and made my way to the theater … only to be told at the box office that THE ONLY SHOWING of Spice World was cancelled so they could show The Interview — which they’ve been showing all weekend long. I was so pissed! I even checked the movie showtimes before I left my place to make sure that Spice World was showing at midnight. I fumed the whole way home … but I still got to watch Spice World last night. More »

Got milk?

Nicki Minaj, as you may know, has a new album titled The Pinkprint coming out on December 15 but what you may not know is that she has other products for sale coming our way as well. Nicki‘s official online store has been stocked with new product bundles that come with orders of her new album. The store is also offering for sale stand-alone products, like her official 2015 Calendar which, as you can see below, features a fairly risqué photo of her butt soaking in what looks to be a tub of milk. Her Anaconda don’t want none … unless those buns come with a heaping glass of milk, hun. Have a look below at the full size photo, if you dare. More »

Watch: Disney/Pixar Releases A Second Trailer For ‘Inside Out’

More than we expected
A Major Emotion Picture

In early October, we got to see the first trailer for the forthcoming Disney/Pixar film Inside Out — which opens next year — and today, we get to check out the just-released second trailer for the animated movie. The first trailer led us to believe that the movie would be centered on a group of emotions living inside a little girl’s head. This second trailer shows us that the movie is actually so much more. Click the embed to watch this new trailer and see what Pixar has planned for us next. I must admit, this second trailer makes me much more interested in seeing Inside Out when it opens next June.

The New James Bond Film Will Be Titled ‘Spectre’ And Will Be Released In Late 2015

Daniel Craig is joined by Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci and more

Earlier this week, we were alerted to the fact that a major worldwide press announcement would be made today about the forthcoming 24th James Bond film, the first since 2012′s hugely successful Bond film Skyfall. A few hours ago, it was formally announced that the next Bond film has been titled Spectre and will star Daniel Craig as 007 alongside Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Andrew Scott and Monica Bellucci. Spectre, as you bond fans may know, is the name of the fictional terrorist organization whose name is an acronym for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion (think Marvel Comics‘s S.H.I.E.L.D. nemesis HYDRA). Clearly, the next James Bond film will be focused on the baddies. Sounds good, no? Click below to see Bond‘s new Aston Martin DB10 car, the film’s first poster and watch video from this morning’s press announcement. More »

Watch: The First Trailer For ‘Pan’ Reveals The Movie To Be A Peter Pan Origin Story

And it looks so weird
Pre-ter Pan

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Pan which, we now know, will be an origin of story of sorts that will reveal how Peter Pan came to be. While the premise sounds interesting, the first look at the movie in this trailer seems a bit weird. I cannot understand how Rooney Mara was cast as the Native American character Tiger Lily but the rest of the casting seems alright. Garrett Hedlund, as the young Hook, used to be friends with Peter pre-Pan, did you know that? I’m not sure why everyone is all gaga over Peter Pan these days but of the forthcoming Peter Pan projects, I think this one looks the most interesting to me. Check out the first trailer for Pan above then click below to see the first Pan posters. More »
