First Look: ‘Orphan Black’ Season 2 Releases A First Batch Of Promo Posters

"One. Of A Kind"

Orphan Black will return with its second season on Saturday April 19 on BBC America and today we get to check out the just-released first batch of promo posters for the show. Last weekend, I powered thru and watched all of Orphan Black season 1 on Amazon Prime and immediately fell in love with the show. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the series, Orphan tells the tale of a group of clones who work in conjunction (or, sometimes, in opposition) with one another to discover the truth about their origins. I’m not really sure how to adequately describe the show, to be honest. All of the clone characters are played by the same actress, Tatiana Maslany, and I have to say … she is stunning in each role that she plays. It’s difficult for one actor to play two roles in the same project but Tatiana played about 8 different roles in season 1 of the show (tho she mostly only played 4 roles at any given time). Season 2 picks up where the first season left off and it looks like 1 ore more clones will be introduced when the new season starts up. Click thru the gallery presented here to see the 4 main clone characters represented in their own promo poster and get excited for Orphan Black‘s return next month. If you don’t watch the show, I highly recommend you check it out before season 2 starts on April 19. Orphan Black has become one of my fave new shows, even tho I’m a bit late to the party.

Watch: HBO Releases A Teaser For Their Adaptation Of ‘The Normal Heart’

Premieres May 25
"There's a crisis in our community right now"

HBO‘s much anticipated TV movie adaptation of the Larry Kramer play The Normal Heart will premiere on Sunday May 25 but today we get our first look at the film in a just-released teaser trailer. The Normal Heart tells the tales of the early days of the AIDS epidemic in NYC in the early 1980s and as you can see in the video above, it looks like it’s going to be a really emotional film. Sadly, I’ve never had the opportunity to see The Normal Heart performed on the stage so I am very much looking forward to the release of this film. The Normal Heart was directed by Ryan Murphy and it stars big names like Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo, Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch and Jim Parsons. Check out this trailer and get a taste of what’s to come.
