Earlier this week we got to see a batch of really great character posters for the forthcoming sequel movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, the finale movie in the film franchise. Today we get to see one more, just-released poster that features one character and one character alone — protagonist Katniss Everdeen. As you can see below, Katniss is all decked out in a blood red costume sitting on the bone white chair usually occupied by President Snow. It would appear that the message here is very clear … when the dust of war settles, it will be Katniss Everdeen sitting pretty at the top of the heap. More »
Coming October 16
Back in May of 2013, we first learned that plans were in the works to adapt R.L. Stine‘s classic book series Goosebumps into a live-action feature film. Today we get to feast our eyes on the first trailer and movie poster for Goosebumps, the movie. As you can see above, many of the classic characters from the Goosebumps books will come to life in this new movie … including The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena, The Werewolf of Fever Swamp, the lawn gnomes from Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes, Slappy from Night of the Living Dummy and MORE! Honestly, I completely discounted the notion of adapting these books into a feature film but now that I see the trailer, I can honestly say that I’m not mad at it. Let’s say I’m now cautiously optimistic that this movie might be fun after all. Watch the trailer above and then click below to see the movie poster for Goosebumps … and if you like what you see, save the date — Goosebumps will open in theaters on October 16. More »

War is Here
Back in March we got our first look at the first teaser poster and video for the forthcoming conclusion to the Hunger Games film franchise, Mockingjay – Part 2, due out in November. In June, we got to see a second poster and the film’s first video trailer. Today, a batch of character posters for Mockingjay – Part 2 have been unleashed all over social media by the film’s studio. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Katniss Everdeen and her allies (Gale, Prim, Finnick, etc.) are war painted up and ready for battle, reminding us that The Revolution is About All of Us. These striking posters are a great reminder that the finale movie, which opens on November 20, will be a serious end to the Hunger Games saga. War has come to Panem.
Coming July 17
Ant-Man will be blasting into theaters next month and to get us excited, Marvel has teamed up with Entertainment Weekly for the release of a new batch of character posters for the movie. As I understand it, Ant-Man is being treated as the final movie of Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies (Phase One ended with 2012′s The Avengers) so it sounds like the events that take place in the movie will be very important to to close out Phase Two before Phase Three begins with next year’s Captain America: Civil War. I’ll share more on that later, for now, enjoy these fun character posters that feature the film’s stars having a bit of fun with little ol’ Ant-Man.

Madonna needs a lot of help, apparently
A couple of days ago, we got to see a behind the scenes photo from the set of Madonna‘s music video for Bitch, I’m Madonna which was full of colorfully dressed back-up dancers. Today we learn that Madonna will have more than just back-up dancers in her video … she’ll also have actual mega (and not so mega) pop stars in the video as well. Taking a page from Taylor Swift‘s Bad Blood music video playbook, Madonna has decided to invite her rivals/compatriots/BFFs Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Rita Ora to feature in the music video as well … which would sound kinda cool had Taylor Swift not done this same sort of thing just a few weeks ago. Click below to see the poster art that Madonna shared on Instagram announcing the cast of pop stars that will co-star in her new music video. More »
No Shield. No Hammer. No Armor. No Problem.
Earlier this month we got to see a bunch of really fun promo photos for Ant-Man and now that we are less than a month away from the movie’s release, we get to see a fun new TV spot as well as 3 new posters. The more I see of Ant-Man, the more excited I am for the movie to come out. Paul Rudd is the real draw for me but because I’m such a Marvel Studios fan, I am really looking forward to falling in love with Ant-Man like I fell in love with Guardians of the Galaxy last year. Check out the TV spot above and then the neat-o posters below. More »

"Oh, HELL YES!"
Another year, another Sharknado made-for-TV movie is coming to Syfy … and today we get our first look at the latest installment in the TV movie franchise — Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! This time, the Sharknado action moves to our nation’s capital where the flying sharks wreak havoc on Washington D.C. LOL. Even tho I’m not really a fan of these silly movies (which is surprising, I’m sure, since it would appear that I’d be into this kind of thing), I have to give some bit of love a TV movie franchise that keeps both Ian Ziering and Tara Reid employed. Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! will premiere on Syfy on July 22 — WHO’S EXCITED!?
The gang's all here
Back in April we got to see a bunch of character posters for the forthcoming animated film The Peanuts Movie and today we get to see a new poster that features all of the Peanuts characters in one place. As you can see below, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Snoopy and the rest of the gang are all gathered together in a movie theater, presumably waiting to see their first feature-length animated film. Have a look below. More »

"The Birth of a Plan Gone Wrong"
OK … this is really weird. A couple of months ago, The Hollywood Reporter caught wind that Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig would be starring in a made-for-TV movie for Lifetime and after they reported the news, Ferrell seemingly got so pissed that the secret was spoiled that he made it appear that the movie would be scrapped and would never be released. This week, billboard advertising the June 20 release of this odd Lifetime movie titled A Deadly Adoption started popping up all over LA, letting us know that the movie is being released after all. I mean … it sounds like a mess. The movie tagline for A Deadly Adoption is The Birth of a Plan Gone Wrong. LOL, OK. And the billboards have the glaring error that the movie will be released on SUNDAY June 20 when, in fact, June 20 is actually a Saturday. MESS. Click below to learn more about this Lifetime made-for-TV movie starring Will Ferrell and Kirsten Wiig and make your plans to watch … or not. More »
The TV Guide
The laundry pile in my room had gotten too unruly for me to ignore anymore so I spent most of my night doing chores around the house, including laundry. My night tonight will be much more exciting because I will be making my way downtown to the Regal Cinemas Theater at LA Live to see the new earthquake disaster movie San Andreas in 4DX. 4DX is, as you may recall, a movie-going experience where the seats move and water, lights and smells are incorporated in the theater to make it feel like you are in the movie. It’s been a while since I saw a movie in 4DX so I figure San Andreas will be the PERFECT movie to experience with all the bells and whistles 4DX has to offer. More »
