First Look: Here Is The First Trailer For ‘The Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

An unauthorized leak resulted in the official release
"There are no strings on me"

The first trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron wasn’t due for official release until next week during the next episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D but earlier today, a low quality version of the trailer leaked online. Marvel immediately sprang into action and tried to get the trailer yanked offline. They realized the cat was already out of the bag so they decided to officially release the trailer early, which you can watch in full above. As far as movie trailers go, this one is effing bad ass. This first look at Ultron is very promising. Have a look above, then click below to see the just released teaser poster for the film as well. More »

Director Colin Trevorrow Releases A First Poster For ‘Jurassic World’

Along with a SLEW of fun behind the scenes photos from the set

The upcoming sequel film Jurassic World (aka Jurassic Park 4) won’t hit theaters until next June but today we are getting our first look at the first official poster for World and we learn that the film’s official tagline is “The Park is Open” … which I love because it could be construed as a good thing (Yay! The Jurassic World park is open for family fun!) or a bad thing (Oh no! The Jurassic World park is open … and dinosaurs are eating people!). Clever. For the past few months, director Colin Trevorrow has been sharing fun, behind the scenes photos from the set of Jurassic World on his official Twitter profile and I’ve complied a few of them for inclusion in this gallery. We still have many months to go before Jurassic World opens in theaters on June 12, 2015 but when the movie does OPEN, I know we are in for a treat.

Early last month we learned that Dexter star Michael C. Hall will star in the Broadway production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch when he takes over for Andrew Rannells after his limited run in the show ends later this month (Rannells, as you may know, took over from Neil Patrick Harris who originated the role on Broadway and won a Tony Award for his performance). Movie Review: ‘Gone Girl’

The TV Guide

Last night was a fun but long night for me. I met up with my friend Eileen for a double feature movie date at the Arclight theater in Hollywood for a showing of A Nightmare On Elm Street as well as a showing of Gone Girl. I’ve been anxious to see Gone Girl for months so I really wanted to see it at my earliest opportunity … but I also wanted the chance to see Nightmare on the big screen again. The Arclight screens classic horror films all throughout the month of October and Nightmare was the first movie on my list. Eileen had a free night so she was able to join me and a blast was had by us both. More »

Watch: For Some Reason, A Sequel To The Nazi Zombie Horror Film ‘Dead Snow’ Is Headed Our Way

'RED vs. DEAD'
The zombie Nazis of 'DØD SNØ' are BACK!

Back in 2009, I saw a Norwegian horror film titled Dead Snow (Død Snø) that I found ridiculously entertaining. Later this year, a sequel titled Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead will be released in theaters and by the look of the trailer embedded above, this follow-up movie looks like it will be even more ridiculously entertaining. It would seem that Død Snø 2 will be a bit more humorous than the first film, which I think works for a movie about zombie Nazis. Have a look at this trailer and see what you think. If you are a fan of Dead Snow then I’m gonna guess that you may also be a fan of Dead Snow 2.

Katniss Everdeen Is Our Leader The Mockingjay In The Final Poster For ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′

Front and Centered

Last week we got to see a new poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 that features the black and beautiful backside of the story’s protagonist hero Katniss Everdeen, played by Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence. Today we get to check out the just-released follow-up poster that shows Katniss from the front. IMHO, this new poster lacks the intensity and power of the backside poster we saw last week but it’s a damn fine poster, nonetheless. Have a look below. More »
