Rocky, Part 2
In January we got our first look at the first teaser trailer for the forthcoming superhero remake of Fantastic Four and in February, we got to see a set of promo photos for the film. But neither the trailer nor the promo photos let us see what Jamie Bell‘s character The Thing / Ben Grimm will look like in the movie. Today, we get to see an international poster that was shared to Instagram that gives us our first look at the new Thing. As you may recall, the original Fantastic Four movie featured a Thing made out of prosthetics … this new Thing will be completely computer generated. Have a look. More »

Starring Star Load, Gamwhora, Rocket Raccooch, Crax & Groin
Previously, we marveled at the creation of porn parodies based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Man of Steel and Game of Thrones (which got both a straight and a gay porn parody film). Today we learn that porn purveyors Wood Rocket have taken the Marvel Comics film Guardians of the Galaxy and turned it into a porn parody titled Gnardians of the Galaxy. Star Lord has been replaced by Star Load, Gamora replaced with Gamwhora, etc. The video isn’t ready for release just yet but we do get to check out the mostly SFW first promo photo … which you can see below … if you dare. Altho the final movie in the Hunger Games film franchise won’t hit theaters until the end of this year, the time has come to start promoting the release of the upcoming sequel film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2. As you may recall, the first part of the 2-part finale was released in theaters last fall. And now, the time has begun to start counting down to the November release of the final Hunger Games film. The first teaser poster for Mockingjay Part 2 has been released and you can see it in full below. More »
Last week The CW released a video promo for The Flash that highlights all of the baddie villains that are yet to make appearances on the show in the coming weeks. Over the weekend, a new promo trailer was shown at the PaleyFest panel discussion for The Flash which has just been made available for viewing online. As you can see above, there is still a LOT of action yet to come as the final episodes of the first season of The Flash head our way. As I have said repeatedly since the show debuted last fall, The Flash is one of my fave TV shows right now and this trailer only fortifies that fact (Gorilla Grodd!!!!!). This has been a really great first season thus far … and it looks like the show is only going to keep getting better.

Last month, we got our first look at former Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa in character as Aquaman as he will appear in the upcoming DC Comics movies Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice and Justice League. Today we learn that Jason signed an Aquaman poster at Indiana Comic-Con over the weekend for a fan and added the message “Fuck Marvel” as well. I’m assuming that the Marvel dig is meant to be a funny joke but unfortunately, I think it comes across more as a dick move on his part. Click below to see Jason‘s autograph and message to Marvel and see what you think. More »

The TV Guide
Last night, Eileen and I made our way to the Arclight Theater in Hollywood, CA to see a special screening of the 2004 movie Mean Girls. Because Mean Girls is only one of the greatest films ever made, Eileen and I were very excited to see the movie again on the big screen. We met for dinner at Umami Burger in Hollywood before we went to see the movie. I made a pit stop at Amoeba Music to pick up Madonna‘s new album Rebel Heart on vinyl … then it was movie time. Afterward, we met up with her friend Kevin for drinks at The Hudson in West Hollywood and put a nightcap on a really fun day. More »
