David Beckham and the LA Galaxy battled the Seattle Sounders soccer team last night in Seattle and had to resort to wearing a new accessory on the soccer field. As you may be well aware, Becks is growing his hair out … and as a result, he has to keep his longer hair out of his face when he plays soccer … and that’s where the headband comes in. More »

Last night our evening’s entertainment took place at Joe’s Pub where a group of David’s friends and we took in a live show called Our Hit Parade. Weekly, a group of NYC’s finest Illuminati of the arts perform renditions of the Top 10 Songs of the Week … to much hilarity. Before we went to the show, David and I grabbed dinner at Vynl with his sister Eden and then it was showtime!! More »

More Banksy Street Art Shows Up In LA

Yesterday Pink reader Sarah shared a photograph of a new piece of graffiti street art here in LA that is believed to have been crated by British graffiti star Banksy. It is believed Banksy is tagging LA ahead of the Academy Awards next week because his film Exit Through the Gift Shop is nominated for the Best Documentary award. Today, Pink reader Aaron sends in other photos of another Banksy art piece that popped up here in LA this week. In fact, Banksy pieces are showing up all over LA these days. More »

Is Banksy In LA Ahead Of The Academy Awards?

The mysterious graffiti artist Banksy is thought to be back in LA these days leading up to the 83rd annual Academy Awards happening in Hollywood, CA at the end of the month. As you may or may not know, Banksy‘s film Exit Through the Gift Shop is nominated for the Best Documentary Oscar and after a couple of Banksy-like pieces of street art have surfaced here in town, it is widely believed that Banksy is in town to liven up the place ahead of the Academy Awards show next week.
