For the last few weeks I’ve been dabbling with the idea of doing a post like this. Y’all know me– I live in the Comments section of this site and I love, love, love hearing what y’all have to say about all things pop and culture. About two weeks ago I actually started writing this; I had just read Devonte‘s comment on one of our Revenge recaps and I was like OMG everybody needs to see this, lol. It’s too late to put Devonte‘s in this collection but please go here and read it because his use of the phrase “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” will redefine your life as you know it. Anyway, today I ended up on another website and they were doing something hilarious called “Ratchet Ramblings” to celebrate their best comments of the week so I was like, okay yeah. The Saturdays Come To America

The amazing British pop group The Saturdays have done a pretty fantastic job conquering the music world over in the UK and now they’ve got their sights set on conquering the US. In January, The Saturdays will debut a new reality TV series on E! called Chasing the Saturdays that will chronicle their adventures here in the US, which the ladies are currently filming right now. Last night, The Saturdays headlined their first-ever US show at The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA and I was graciously invited to attend. Madonna Rocks LA With The ‘MDNA’ World Tour

Last night David and I made our way downtown to the Staples Center to see Madonna LIVE in concert for her MDNA World Tour. As you may recall, I was able to see the show last weekend in San Jose, CA but last night’s show was David’s first time seeing Maddy this tour. We were able to partake of the food and drink available to us at the pre-show party before we made our way to our seats. We had a great time! I loved the show so much the first time that I knew I’d have a blast. Madonna ROCKS San Jose With The ‘MDNA’ World Tour

OMG … let me tell you how freaking AMAZING yesterday was for me. As I mentioned before, my dear friend Emma and I made our way to San Francisco, CA this weekend for the express purpose of seeing Madonna perform live in concert in San Jose, CA. While we have been having a blast her in SF, it was all about the Madonna show last night. After many months of hearing about the show, I finally got to see The MDNA World Tour LIVE in person for myself. I thought I was ready … but I was not. The show BLEW MY MIND. Hands down it is one of Madonna‘s best live shows of all time and is certainly her best live show in years. BUT, I’ll get to all of that later in the post. The Disneyland Half Marathon Was A Dream Come True

So … the race that started it all … came and went so fast! Earlier this year, I decided that I wanted to run a half marathon and I selected the Disneyland Half Marathon to be my race. I started training on March 1 and I couldn’t even run a mile … but I stuck with it … ran my first 5K race in April, my first 10K race in June and then just kept training on longer runs leading up to yesterday’s BIG race. I loved everything about the experience, honestly. All of my hard work lead up to that starting line and … off I went. More »

PITNBR Kiersten (AKA kierstenduck)! You rock! And roll! Yesterday I posted pictures from the Bachelorette premiere in LA and the particular source I used had no photos of my girl Rebel Wilson. I made the mistake of assuming she was not in attendance (partly because we’d recently seen that Bachelorette photo shoot that was sans Rebel) but she was totally there! So this post is dedicated to Kiersten, who took time out of her day to answer my frantic call (“somebody FIND ME REBEL WILSON!“) and posted in the comments a great photo of Rebel at the premiere. It takes a village to raise a blogger. Thank you Kiersten :)

Disney Day

Yesterday was a bright, sunny and hot day here in SoCal … which, of course, meant that I had to make my down to Anaheim, CA to spend some time in Disneyland! I wanted to do some serious walking yesterday and I’ve always wanted to take daytime Polaroid photos at Disneyland so yesterday was the day. Despite the heat, I had a pretty fun day snapping away all over the resort. It was Bat’s Day at Disneyland so the park was teeming with goths dressed in crushed velvet, leather, long sleeves … all in BLACK! I have no idea how they managed to endure the heat but all I saw was smiling faces. More »

Night Of The Apparitions

Last night I attended my 7th performance of the SIMPLY BRILLIANT off Broadway show Sleep No More. Just like Thursday night’s show, last night’s performance was Hallowe’en themed … called Night of the Apparitions. Audience members were required to wear all white, which added to the show’s ominous appearance. Once again, even tho it was my 7th performance, I had an amazingly wonderful time. I experienced NEW stuff I had yet to see and, again, was gifted with a few baubles from members of the cast. I also got to meet some of the actors after the show AND I got to hang out with a fabulous Pink reader named Elizabeth. It really was a fantastic night. More »

Meeting Britney Spears

So … ok … last night. After many, many years of being a HUGE fan, I was finally able to meet the living legend herself … Britney Spears. After missing out on the meet and greets in SoCal (mainly because I wasn’t even aware that she would be doing meet and greets), I decided that I HAD to figure out a way to meet her. Long story short, I managed to get a m&g ticket for the Hartford, CT show and last night was the night. Britney Spears WOWs Anaheim With Her ‘Femme Fatale’ Tour

Last night David and I made our way down to Orange County to see Britney Spears perform on her Femme Fatale Tour at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. As you may recall, we got to see the show in full last Monday at the Staples Center in LA but seeing the show once simply wasn’t enough. Because we did the backstage tour last time, we missed seeing Nervo and Jessie and the Boy Toys perform … but last night, we got to watch these up and coming femme fatales open the show and put on FANTASTIC sets! We had a different vantage point for this concert and, to be honest, it put the entire show in an entirely new yet equally amazing light! More »
