Which Celebrities Do You Have A Love/Hate Relationship With?

PITNB's Weekly Discussion Forum

We’re always talking about the lives of celebrities, and all that they must endure as people in the public eye. Even those of us who don’t always have sympathy for these rich and famous folk still have to admit that they work hard, and sacrifice a lot. But what about us? What about how hard it is to be a fan?! The struggle is real, and we’re going to address some of those struggles for today’s YATNB discussion. Click inside for more!

Going Out On A High Note

The TV Guide

And so … my 10th and very likely final marathon is in the books. Yesterday, I ran the NYC Marathon and had a mostly amazing, oftentimes freezing, mostly windy time running the streets of NYC. My day started at 4:20 AM when I had to get ready and make my way to the bus that would take me to Staten Island where I would wait in the bitter, windy cold for 4 hours before I got to start the race. Once I was off and running, I really took my time to savor the experience. I saw beloved friends along the route, met PITNB readers and basked in cheers, love and high fives from the New Yorkers lining the streets who came out to support the runners. It was an experience I won’t ever, ever forget. More »

Let’s Talk Super-Creepy Celebrity Dreams

PITNB's Weekly Discussion Forum

This weekend many of us—along with many of our favorite celebrities—got all dolled up and celebrated Hallowe’en. I don’t dress up for the holiday (but OMG my boys were cute… like painfully cute), but I do love celebrating by watching all of the scary movies that come on TV—and the not-so-scary ones like Hocus Pocus and Addams Family Values, which is currently on my DVR. As a kid, I suffered from many movie-related nightmares (The Night of the Living Dead is the reason I cannot get into The Walking Dead), which then somehow blossomed into creepy celebrity-themed dreams. I know I’m not the only one who has these, so this week as you’re munching on your Hallowe’en candy (or your kids’… like me… right now), I wanna hear about your super-creepy celebrity dreams.

All Hallows Eve In NYC

The TV Guide

Hallowe’en in NYC was so much fun yesterday, I don’t even know where to begin. I guess I’ll just rattle off all of the fun stuff that my friends and I got up to in an effort to adequately describe how fun my day was. Before any of the Hallowe’en fun got started, I made my way to the NYC Marathon Expo to pick up my race bib and shirt for the big race tomorrow morning. Then I met up with Sarah and Mark in the city so that we could do a bit of shopping in SoHo before we returned home to get ready for the Hallowe’en fun ahead. We had PLANNED on meeting up with Shannon and our NEW PITNB intern Iris but the damn West Village Hallowe’en Parade LITERALLY got in our way. We ended out the night at a party with my friend Michael and his friends … OH and then late night eats after midnight at a great little greasy spoon in Brooklyn. Ah, the life. More »

‘Jake’s Green/Hazel Eyes… Are… Killing… Me!’

PITNBr rachel's struggle + Other Awesomeness in PITNB Reader Comments!

As you all know, this was a very special week for me, as I geared up for my first child-free weekend in about two years. And, true to form, I overdid a bit Friday night (ahem), and by Sunday morning my partna-in-babymaking was coming to terms with the fact that our one year-old is a beautiful, glorious handful—which no human being should have to endure alone. The baby-free weekend ended early, but it’s allll good. I took at least 4 naps while the kiddies were gone and—best of all—had time to round up some incredibly awesome comments from you PITNBrs. PITNBr Devonte Antonio Is Celebrating Hallowe’en Early, And Amazingly

#ConfessionsOfAGayBlackNerd

I’m not gonna lie. It’s Sunday night, and I’m a teensy bit wiped out. Birthday celebrations (and all of that cake I devoured, unnecessarily), work, live-tweeting The Good Wife—it’s hard out here for work-from-home mother of three. But, thankfully, PITNBr Devonte Antonio is here to offer me some reprieve. Once again, his Instagram page is getting some stalker-love from me. I invite you all to join me, in experiencing his most frighteningly hilarious post yet. Click inside for more!

Which Celebrities Have Totally Hooked Up… In Your Head?

PITNB's Weekly Discussion Forum

Yesterday Trent posted this story that got the wheels in my head ‘a turnin’. Did Mario Lopez and Britney Spears really have a one night stand… and if so, how exactly did the um eff go down?! That story got me thinking about all of the times I decided, for whatever reason, that two celebrities, totally, absolutely hooked up at least 1-7 times. It’s always fun when it turns out to be true (Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman… totally saw that one coming), but it’s amazing how many celebrity hook-ups ONLY happen in my head! Which Celebrity Breakup Are You Still Not Over?

PITNB's Weekly Discussion Forum

Over the past few weeks I’ve been trying to figure out WTF happened to Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose. Seriously. What happened?! Now, okay. Obviously, I haven’t been grappling with it in the wee hours of the night—it’s not my marriage, it’s not my struggle. However, there’s something that really sucks about celebrity breakups, especially when it’s a celebrity couple you decided—for whatever reason—was totally gonna work. It’s like that cool couple that you’re friends with—you know who they are. They’re different. They’re cool. They’re going to Paris like Kate and Leo in Revolutionary Road. Except… yeah. Then they don’t go to Paris, and by the end of the movie you’re crying and trying to figure out how your relationship is going to work if they didn’t even make it to Paris, and they had it all planned out! That’s how I feel about Wizlifah, and I need to discuss. Click inside for more!

‘Probably The Most Terrifying Looking Clown Ever…’

PITNBr nicole, FTW! And Other Awesomeness in Reader Comments!

There was an interesting discussion that started on one of our posts this week, in which PITNBrs basically defended the integrity of our beloved gossip blog to another reader. Every week when I round up the comments, I’m reminded of the fact that our online community is so different from others. The conversations that so many of you are willing to have, the things that you’re willing to share—all of this tells me that we have something special here. And, sure, we get gossipy, but Trent keeps it light and fun, and I’ve learned from the best. You all tend to follow suit, and there you have it—PITNB rules. Case in point, these awesome comments from some of you this week. Click inside for more!

‘I Did Lick My Computer Screen And Now It’s All Smeary’

PITNBr schmee FTW! And Other Awesomeness in Reader Comments

Every week it gets harder and harder to round up comments because there are so many wins! We’ve had some great discussions this week about things like the sperm bank lawsuit, and I loved all of the songs you all mentioned on our 80s dance pop Throwback Thursday. Also, for those of you who saw Gone Girl, I’m so curious to know what you think! Click inside for a small selection of the best in PITNB Reader comments!
