He says the leaked photo was a fake
A couple of weeks back Twitter went crazy over an [allegedly] unretouched photo of supermodel Cindy Crawford. Because Crawford hadn’t made a statement about it, I was a little skeptical. At the very least, I got the sense that it wasn’t an image she wanted out there, and I also thought it was odd that people were championing the photo as some kind of proof of something. I mean, we all should know by now that celebrities and all people of means have access to the best in skincare, plastic surgery, and photoshopping. I’m just not about looking at unretouched photos and saying, “Oh, cool, that makes me feel better.” We should all be feeling good about our bodies, and even though I know that’s not already, always the case, I don’t think the solution is releasing unretouched celebrity photos—especially when said celebrity doesn’t know about it. As a feminist, there’s something that bugs me about that. So I’m not surprised to hear that this story about Crawford‘s photo isn’t over—and now there’s a potential lawsuit coming. The 2nd Year in a Row
For the second year in a row, Vanity Fair magazine teamed up with Instagram to showcase photos from their annual Oscar Portrait Studio. Oscar winners and big name show attendees alike lined up to pose for photographer Mark Seliger … some of which you can see in the gallery presented here. These photos made their debut on the official Instagram profile for Vanity Fair magazine and then were shared on VF‘s official website. Seliger is an excellent photographer. He really manages to get great photos of the celebs he shoots. I love Eddie Redmayne‘s photo with his Oscar and I am in surprising lust with Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson‘s photo. Click through the gallery and see who you like best.

The Host with the Most
Last week we saw Neil Patrick Harris on the cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine and today we get to see a bunch of bonus portraits from his EW spread. As you can see in the gallery presented here, NPH and Oscar get kinda cozy for photographer Robert Trachtenberg and EW magazine … it’s almost enough to make Neil‘s hubby David Burtka a bit jealous ;) NPH and Oscar will be reunited again this Sunday night when Neil hosts The Academy Awards LIVE from Hollywood. Aren’t these photos great? I can’t wait for Sunday night!
Her whole breast, actually, but who's counting?
Rihanna, who is featured on the three covers of Korean W magazine’s 10th anniversary issue this month, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the Spring/Summer ’15 issue of AnOther magazine. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Ri Ri got all dolled up in Alexander McQueen and Comme des Garçons Homme Plus for the stylish spread … and she also let her entire right breast out for a bit of air. Even with her breast on full display, this photospread is one of her tamer spreads. Just like the Korean W magazine spread, these photos of Rihanna were shot by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Have a look, see what you think.

Selena talks to James Franco about Justin Bieber
Selena Gomez is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue V magazine and as you can see in the gallery presented here, she decided not to wear much for the spread. Selena goes topless on the cover and in the accompanying photospread but she does so tastefully, I guess. I’m digging the ’70s-inspired look that was shot by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. For the interview, Selena sat down for a chat with actor James Franco and in the excerpt below, she alludes to making a mistake by getting romantically involved with Justin Bieber (thank the gods). Click through the gallery to see the first photos released from Selena‘s new V magazine photospread and click below to read a small excerpt from her interview with Franco. More »
This is Love
Victoria’s Secret model Doutzen Kroes and her beautiful family — husband Sunny James, son Phyllon and daughter Myllena — are featured in the new issue of Vogue Netherlands and the photospread is getting a lot of attention this weekend because Doutzen happily and beautifully breastfeeds her baby daughter in one of the photos. Doutzen and her children are featured on the cover of the magazine, which you can see below, but the breastfeeding photo includes all the members of her adorable family and it’s really an amazing photograph. Click below to have a look at what happy family life is all about for the Kroes-James family. More »
"We did not digitally lighten Kerry's skin tone"
This week, InStyle magazine unveiled the cover of their new issue which features Scandal star Kerry Washington and almost immediately, critics made claims that Kerry had been made “unrecognizable” due to the lightening of her skin color. InStyle has issued an official statement regarding the controversy, claiming that they did not digitally alter Kerry‘s skin tone and blame photoshoot lightening for the lightning of her skin. Kerry, herself, seems content with InStyle‘s explanation … are you? Click below to have a look for yourself and see what you think. More »
