"This is my role in the world, my work as an artist.”
We know that Madonna has been hard at work on her new album in recent weeks but she managed to take some time away from the recording studio to be featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of L’Uomo Vogue magazine. Photographed by Tom Munro, Maddy is channeling bossy chic in this new photospread … ranging from crisp, buttoned up suit-wear to scantily clad, leather underwear wear. In her interview, Madonna reveals that her new music will be used to advance her #ArtForFreedom campaign which, as you may know, is her attempt to “encourage people to believe that we can bring about change in the world through art“. As long as the music is good, I’m all for it. Click thru the gallery to see Madonna‘s L’Uomo Vogue photos and see if they inspire YOU to want to change the world … by way of images of Madonna in her underwear.
"I never thought I’d meet the right person”
Angelina Jolie, the star of the upcoming live-action Disney film Maleficent, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Elle magazine. In her cover story interview, Angelina opens up about some very personal things … like the fact that she never truly believed that she would fall in love and start a family with someone. Because she came from a broken home, she says, the idea of having a loving family of her own felt like a fairytale that she couldn’t let herself believe. Aww. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Angelina looks pretty damn amazing in her Elle photospread, too. Click thru and check out the photos then read on to hear what else Ang has to share in the pages of the new issue of Elle. More »

Last month we got to see Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson on the cover of the fashion magazine No Tofu. Today we get to see photos of Shirley shot by photographer Zoey Grossman as featured in the pages of this issue of No Tofu. Shirley always looks stunning when she poses for fashion magazines but I think she has truly outdone herself this time. Shirley Manson is a goddess among humans and we are lucky to bask in her glory.
“It’s time to burn the beret and bury the blue dress.”
It’s been about 10 years since we last year from Monica Lewinsky, the White House aide who had a sexual affair with then-sitting President Bill Clinton back in 1995-96, but at long last she is finally ready to open up about the affair. For years, we’ve been hearing rumors that Lewinsky was planning to publish a tell-all book but that book never came to be. This month, Monica writes pretty extensively about her affair with President Clinton in the May issue of Vanity Fair magazine. Not only does Lewinsky talk about what happened almost 20 year ago but she also opens up about the effect the circumstances surrounding the affair had on her life. Because I vividly recall the media storm that her affair with Clinton had on the country back in the mid-90′s, I am very interested to read what she has to say about the matter today. More »

Then & Now
To promote their new side project Nick & Knight, Jordan Knight of New Kids on the Block and Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys paid a visit to the Buzzfeed offices for a fun little photoshoot. Both Jordan and Nick recreated many of the ridiculously amazing photos that they posed for back in the day … to hilarious results. Click thru the gallery to see Jordan and Nick as they looked then and as they look now. Personally, I think the rose photo is the best but they’re all really great, aren’t they?
A whole bunch of outtake photos of Britney Spears that were taken by photographer Randee St. Nicholas during the Femme Fatale music era has made its way to the Internets for our viewing pleasure. As you can see in the photos presented in this gallery, our dear Britney Spears looks utterly fabulous and totally adorable in each of these previously unseen photographs. Thinking back to that era, I can pick out at least 6 of these photos that are, IMHO, superior to the photos that were released as official promo photos for that era. The emergence of these photos only serves to remind us that Britmas can come at any time of the year. Check out the photos, they are really great … don’t you think?
“It’s a never-ending struggle.”
Zac Efron is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter which devotes the feature story to Efron‘s struggle with addiction as well as an overview of his acing career in support of his new movie Neighbors. As you may recall, we learned earlier this year that Zac has been dealing with substance abuse issues and was involved a few weeks ago in a very shady incident in the skid row portion of downtown LA that many claim sounded like a drug deal gone wrong. As always, The Hollywood Reporter gives us a feature story that goes into great detail thanks to a great interview with Efron and his co-stars. Click thru the gallery to see photos from this issue of The Hollywood Reporter then click below to read excerpts from Zac‘s interview where he addresses personally what he says went down on skid row last month.
