Solange Knowles, artiste and fashionista, is featured in the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine and as you can read below, she talks about a range of subjects with the fashion mag. The real draw for me in regards to this magazine feature is the accompanying photospread. Solange has to be one of the more inventive fashionistas on the block right now. Terry Richardson Photographs Lupita Nyong’o (Much To EVERYONE’S Dismay)

NO! NO! NO! NO!

UGH! Remember early last week when we saw that photo of Academy Award-winner/fashion darling Lupita Nyong’o posing for a photo with her selfie BFF Jared Leto and infamous photographer Terry Richardson? Remember how we feared that Lupita might end up in a Richardson photoshoot down the line? Well, it looks like that fear is finally being realized. Terry posted a series of photos that he snapped in Paris, France of Lupita hanging out with Leto and Miuccia Prada the very week that another model came forward with allegations against Richardson. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Lupita even dons Terry‘s trademark glasses for a couple of photos. Could it be? Could Lupita be on the verge of crossing over to the dark side? Say it ain’t so, Lupita! OY!

Neil Patrick Harris Gets Glitter Bombed On The Cover Of ‘Out’ Magazine

From Doogie to Barney to Hedwig

Actor Neil Patrick Harris is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Out magazine and while his appearance in the magazine is meant to promote his upcoming stint in the Broadway production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the featured coverstory covers much more than just his new Broadway gig. In fact, NPH‘s Out interview covers pretty much everything you’d want to know about the guy in a concise and wholly enlightening way. The interview is a must read for any NPH fan. I was most taken by his explanation of how it feels for him to be famous:

“Do you know the feeling when a birthday cake is in front of you and everyone is singing ‘Happy Birthday’? There’s that weird, uncomfortable thing, of I’m not sure how I’m supposed to react. Am I supposed to look at every person or look at the cake? I want it to be over with — it’s that feeling that all the attention is on you, and they are waiting to see what your reaction is.”

The full interview can be read online HERE. While I really enjoy the fun photos shared in this gallery (photographed by Michael Muller), it’s the interview that is the real gem. I’m very excited to see NPH as Hedwig on Broadway. It seems like there isn’t anything that Neil can’t do and do very well. He just makes it all seem easy and he does so in the most charming way. This Out magazine feature on Neil is one of the best I’ve ever read.

Lea Michele Brings The Mod Glam To British ‘Glamour’ Magazine

"Now I feel a little bit more back together"

Glee star Lea Michele is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of British Glamour magazine and in the gallery of photos presented here, you can see that Lea is channeling some seriously fabulous 60sesque mod glam in her photospread. Lea‘s Glamour interview, which can be read HERE, reveals that the young actress continues to heal from the loss of her longtime boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith. It’s a pretty decent interview but I’m all about the photos. Check out this gallery and see what you think. This mod look is a great one for Ms. Michele, don’t you think?

‘Vikings’ Star Travis Fimmel Is Lookin’ F-I-N-E In ‘Flaunt’ Magazine

Yes, please

The second season of Vikings gets underway this week on the History Channel and to promote the show’s return, model-turned-actor Travis Fimmel is featured in the new issue of Flaunt magazine. You can head over to Flaunt HERE to read his interview feature in the mag but I highly suggest you stay right here and click thru the gallery to see the pretty, pretty pictures he took for Flaunt. Photographer Tony Duran really captured the essence of Travis‘s hawtness, I think, and while he’s wearing far too many clothes for my liking … I really don’t have anything to complain about. Travis Fimmel makes a fine ass viking in Vikings and it’s quite clear that he still does a pretty decent job as a model, as well. Enjoy.

Pop phenom “It” girl Lorde is featured in the new issue of Vogue magazine for the very first time but, if her career continues to grow it certainly won’t be the last time. In the new issue of Vogue (with Rihanna on the cover), Ella Yelich-O’Connor opens up about her career ambitions, her bizzy work schedule and her love of New York City … a place she describes as home (“because every film is set here, and every TV show“) as well as “another planet“. Rihanna Tells ‘Vogue’ Magazine That She ‘Never Wanted To Be Famous’

"I can't ever imagine feeling used to [fame]."

Today is Rihanna‘s 26th birthday and among the gifts she got this year is her third Vogue magazine cover in just four years. Ri Ri is featured on the cover and in the pages of the March issue of Vogue and in her coverstory interview, she talks about how she never wanted to be famous. Honestly, I feel like celebrities like to say things like this just to make them seem humble but in Rihanna‘s case, I believe her. While I don’t doubt that she enjoys the fame that she has achieved, I believe her when she says that fame came to her accidentally. Click below to see Rihanna‘s third Vogue cover, read some excerpts from her coverstory interview and check out a couple photos from her Vogue photospread. More »

Watch: Kate Upton Floating In Zero Gravity For ‘Sports Illustrated’ Highlights The Pinnacle Of Human Scientific Achievement

Swimsuits In Space
Because, Science

Yesterday we learned that Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue perennial fave Kate Upton WILL appear on the flip-side cover of the 50th anniversary edition of the Swimsuit Issue which features 3 other non-Kate Upton models on the main cover. Today we get to watch behind the scenes video of one of Kate‘s photoshoot for the SI Swimsuit Issue that goes to show how far the advancement of scientific research has taken mankind. Kate was photographed in a zero gravity environment (provided by one of Zero Gravity Corporation‘s Boeing 727 planes which provides weightlessness for 30 seconds at a time) so that she could float around in space while being photographed in various bikinis. To be honest, the shoot looks like it was a lot of fun for everyone involved. The full set of photos from this zero g photoshoot are available HERE and in the pages of SI‘s 50th anniversary Swimsuit Issue on newsstands now.
