Long Live the King
Earlier today we got to see actor Charlie Hunnam in character as King Arthur on the cover of this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine, lookin’ as hot as ever. Right now, we get to feast our eyes on the full photospread of Charlie in the new issue of EW. Photographed by Marc Hom on the set of Hunnam‘s new film Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur, we get to see just how insanely handsome Charlie looks as the legendary monarch. It’s hard to pick a fave photo from this batch but it’s sure fun trying. Enjoy.
The gift that keeps on giving
Back in May, Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis got temperatures racing with the release of his steamy Attitude magazine photospread. As you may recall, we got a really hot look at the child actor all growed up with the release of those photos. Today, courtesy of photographer Joseph Sinclair, we get to revisit Matthew‘s photospread with the release of an outtake photo that didn’t make the cut when Attitude was released in the spring. As is usually the case, professional photoshoots end up with way more photos than can be used in publications … and, as a result, many of those outtake photos go forever unseen. Thankfully, Sinclair decided to pick out a lovely previously unseen photo and share it with the world … gods bless him. Have a look below. More »
"I assumed that nobody would ever have the open-mindedness to cast this character black"
In May we learned that Broadway actor Taye Diggs will be returning to the Great White Way this year as the next star to take the lead in the new production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. In June, we got our first look at the actor in make-up for the role. Today, courtesy of The New York Times Magazine, we get an amazing behind the scenes look at Taye as he prepares to “transform” the role when he takes over next month. NYT photographer Ryan Pfluger was given access to rehearsals for the show and he expertly captures Diggs as he prepares for the role. Taye confesses that he assumed that they would never cast a Black man as Hedwig, which is something I think many people assumed. Personally, tho, I am so excited that he is going to become the new Hedwig becuase, OMG, he is going to KILL the role. Click through the gallery to see these amazing photos from the NYT and head HERE to read the article in full.
"I’m not confused ... I think the world might be - but I’m not.”
It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Rachel Dolezal — the Caucasian woman who brazenly identifies as Black. OK, it’s been about a month since we’ve heard from her but, honestly, in the past 4 weeks I don’t think I’ve given her even a passing thought. But, here we are, talking about her again … because she is featured in the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine. In spite of the backlash that she received when her true ethnicity was revealed, Dolezal tells VF mag that she feels that she never deceived anyone, she absolutely identifies as Black and she is completely unapologetic about everything that went down when her story blew up in May. Rachel Dolezal ain’t done talking, click below to read what she has to say now. More »
Plus, his chat with Martha Stewart (Yes, Martha Stewart)
Justin Bieber is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Interview magazine and as you can see in the gallery presented here, he isn’t wearing very much clothing. As you may recall, The Biebs showed us his bare ass on Instagram last week so clearly he is in a very show-and-tell mood these days. The photos were shot by Steven Klein and the interview was conducted by Martha Stewart. Yes, the felonious queen of the domestic arts. Martha and JB clearly grew close when they worked together on the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber earlier this year so, yeah, there you go. Check out the photos and then click below to read excerpts from JB‘s chat with MS in the new issue of Interview mag. More »
Adventures in stating the obvious.
What I like about Amber Rose is that she will go from sharing a video that highlights her incredibly dope skillz as a parent, and then transition to some sexy sexy sex time, without missing a beat. It all sort of makes no sense, but that’s only if you exist in a world where you can’t teach your son the word “translucent,” and then post an epic booty shot that goes viral over the weekend. Hunger Thirsty Games
Alexander Ludwig made his debut on the scene in the first Hunger Games movie as Cato, the male tribute from District 2. He found bigger fame as Björn Lothbrook in the spectacular History Channel series Vikings. Now, all grown up, Ludwig is featured in his own magazine spread in the new issue of Flaunt magazine. As you can see in the gallery presented here, the young actor is not shy about sharing himself with the world … including his proclivity for tighty whitey underwear. Alexander is really great on Vikings so I’m a fan. This magazine photospread only adds to my fandom.
The 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' star bares more than his bum
Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson can be seen as Quicksliver / Pietro Maximoff in the superhero sequel film The Avengers: Age of Ultron but one thing you won’t see in the movie is his bare booty. That is why, I’m guessing, Aaron decided to show off his bum in the pages of the new issue of Flaunt magazine. Flaunt does a really great job of getting stars like Nick Jonas, Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen and Beyoncé to show off more than their pretty smiles … and I couldn’t be more happier that they do. Whenever I see photospreads like this, I am reminded that I need to pick up Flaunt magazine on newsstands more often. If you are an Aaron Taylor-Johnson fan, I think this issue is one that you’re gonna wanna buy. I mean, who wouldn’t like to hold this in their hands?
Earlier this month we saw photos of Jurassic World actor Chris Pratt on the cover and in the pages of the British version of Men’s Health magazine. Today we learn that Pratt is also this month’s coverboy of the US version of Men’s Health magazine … complete with NEW photos to gawk at. While the British Men’s Health mag photos were a bit more fitness mag “serious”, the photos in the US version are much more fun and playful. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Chris really knows how to wear a flowered swim cap right. Check out the photos and then click below to read excerpts from Chris‘s cover store feature in the Red-Hot Summer Issue of Men’s Health magazine. More »
Seriously, I don't think you're ready for this hawtness
Just this month alone, we have seen beautiful photos of Empire star Taraji P. Henson on the covers and in the pages of Emmy magazine and Allure magazine … but day, LORDE HAVE MERCY, we see Ms. Henson on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of W magazine. I mean … people … friends … y’all are not ready for this. Taraji looks unsurprisingly amazing on the cover of W but there is a photo inside the magazine that will leave you gasping for air. The photos were shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, so you know they’re hot, but … yeah, you’ll just have to see for yourselves. I should warn that the particular photo in question may be considered NSFW by some. Altho Taraji doesn’t show anything … she almost shows everything and, well, you’re just not ready. Have a look, see what I mean. More »
