Just last week we heard that John Mayer’s new single ‘Shadow Days‘ off his new album, Born and Raised, was to be out soon followed by a spring U.S. tour. John actually started the album quite a few months ago but had to postpone it when he found out that he had a throat condition that needed him to take a break from singing. We thought he had made a recovery because work on the album commenced and the tour was announced, but sadly today John has come out and said that he will be postponing performing live INDEFINITELY as his vocal chord illness has returned and he needs to undergo more therapy and a significant hiatus from singing. Bee Gees guy, Robin Gibb, has been hospitalized after suffering a setback in his fight with cancer. The musical icon has been undergoing chemotherapy for colon cancer for a few months now, but was admitted to a hospital in London this week. A rep for the musician has confirmed that the hospitalization is a routine part of his treatment. Judi Dench Diagnosed With Serious Eye Condition That Can Lead To Blindness

Sad news to report today that British actress and film icon, Judi Dench has been diagnosed with macular degeneration, which is a serious degenerative eye disease that can lead to blindness. Judi has been receiving treatment for the condition for a while now, which runs in her family, and it is getting worse because now she relies on family and friends to read scripts to her. At night she also can’t see very much at all. Ever the positive person and brilliant actress she is at age 77, Judi isn’t stopping or retiring. See what she had to say below. What an inspiration! Whitney Houston’s Daughter Bobbi Kristina Reportedly Rushed To The Hospital

Ugh … very troubling breaking news to pass along. It is being reported that Bobbi Kristina, the only begotten child of the late Whitney Houston and ex-husband Bobby Brown, was rushed to Cedars Sinai Hospital here in LA earlier this morning. As we learned previously, Bobbi Kris tried to gain access to the hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hilton where her mother died yesterday to see the body and she was turned away by police. It was reported that furiously upset Bobbi stormed away. News of today’s reported hospitalization is extremely concerning … because at this point, we cannot be sure why exactly she was rushed to the hospital. Last June we started hearing about Adele‘s throat problems when she was forced to start canceling her concert dates. As the year continued and she tried to reschedule her dates, her throat problems got worse … to the point where she had to cancel her world tour altogether and undergo surgery. Adele has been quietly recuperating for the past few months but is scheduled to make her return to the performance stage this weekend at the Grammy Awards.
