C'mon, it'll be fun.
Ah, this brings back memories. While I haven’t been bold enough to get piercings anywhere other than my ears, I once watched my Aunt Grace pierce my bff Karen‘s nose and it was amazing, LOL. The blood, the tears, the ice cubes, the fear—it was all so palpable in that bedroom of teenage dreams. Katy Perry is not so cool as to have my aunt pierce her nose, but she did share the moment on Instagram, for all of our viewing pleasure. Click inside for more!

In the wake of Robin Williams‘s shocking death earlier this week, we have read official statements released by his children but until today, we haven’t received an official statement from his wife Susan Schneider. Just a short time ago, Schneider released a personal statement about the death of her husband that reveals that Williams was diagnosed with early stages of Parkinson’s Disease before his death. Click below to read the full text of Susan Schneider‘s statement about her late husband Robin Williams. More »
Tony Hawk, Jr.
Last week, our dear Britney Spears shared cute video of one of her sons skateboarding at a local skatepark. At the time, I assumed it was her older son Sean Preston but I know how was her younger son Jayden James. A few days ago, Britney posted a photo of Jayden jumping a ramp with his scooter, calling him her little Tony Hawk. Unfortunately, Jayden suffered a fall of some sort because the next day, Jayden‘s step mother Victoria Prince (married to his father Kevin Federline) posted a photo of JJ rocking an arm cast. Ouch! Injured Harrison Ford will reportedly be back on set
Back in June we learned that actor Harrison Ford injured his foot pretty seriously while on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. Ford surfaced publicly wearing a foot cast in July and, as a result, filming production of Episode VII had to go on a short hiatus while Harrison recovered. Today we learn that filming production of the new Star Wars film will begin later this month now that Harrison is reportedly well enough to get back to work. Yay!! More »
'First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them...'
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson had a terrible scare the other night when his mother and cousin were in a serious car accident. TMZ reports that Ata Maivia-Johnson and Lina Fanene were driving home from a fundraiser when they were struck head-on by a drunk driver. Both cars in the crash were completely totaled (Ata and Lina were in a white Escalade The Rock had purchased for his mum back in 2012), and the whole scene looks pretty scary. The Rock posted an honest, heartfelt message on Instagram and I hope many people will take heed. Click inside for more.
This is sick.
Look, I don’t even have pets but this video made my stomach hurt. I try to stay away from Teen Mom 2 and all its derivates because nothing good ever seems to come of me watching this show, but someone pointed me in the direction of this video, and I caved. On a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, a pregnant Jenelle Evans lost her temper with her husband’s dogs. What she did with them was incredibly difficult to watch. Click inside for more.

Peace the Spork Out
Well, I guess it was just a matter of time before this happened. In the wake of the physical assault that went down in the recording studio earlier this week, it is being reported today that the pop group Danity Kane has broken up … again. This past Monday, Aubrey O’Day and Dawn Richards came to blows over some sort of disagreement which resulted in Dawn allegedly punching Aubrey in the head. Police were called, charges were pressed … and Danity Kane fans all around the world (well, all around the block, actually) held their collective breath to find out what would happen next. Today, we know. Danity Kanye have decided to unmake the band … they are dunzo, y’all. UPDATE: An official statement has been released regarding the band’s break up, read it in full below. More »

You don't, I'm telling you
So, um, remember the story we learned earlier today of that guy who got into a physical altercation with another guy and bit off the tip of his finger at Beyoncé and Jay Z‘s On The Run concert in Pasadena, CA on Saturday night? Well, OF COURSE, TMZ got their hands on the gruesome photos of the guy who lost his finger and they are sharing the photos with the world. Against my better judgement, I clicked to see the photos and I’m telling you, they are gnarly and gross. I simply cannot share the photos here but because I had to satisfy my curiosity, I’m guessing there are others out there who have the same morbid curiosity. I have a feeling you’re not gonna wanna see the photos … but I also have a feeling that that warning won’t keep some of you from looking anyway. It’s not a pretty sight, believe me.
Over the weekend, Beyoncé and Jay Z thrilled the folks here in Southern California with a pair of concert performances at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Many people, me included, had the best time ever at these shows. BUT … not everyone had a good time … the LA Times is reporting that an altercation broke out between 3 people during Saturday night’s concert which resulted in one man biting off the tip of another man’s finger. I mean, the tip counts. Read on for deets about this bizarre story. More »
PITNB's Weekly Discussion Forum
“Shannon, one of these guys is gonna f— you up.” Okay, we’ll get to that quote (from one of my friends, circa 2003) shortly. I don’t know how much you all have heard about this story, or whether or not any of you watch First Take (I do, and I love it) but Stephen A. Smith of ESPN got himself in some serious trouble over comments about women and men in domestic violence cases. The specific subject of his discussion with Skip Bayless was Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice (who knocked his wife out and dragged her unconscious body out of an Atlantic City casino elevator… and was suspended from a whole two NFL games as a result), but I want to open things up a bit and talk about some of the greater questions about domestic violence that this raised.
