"I Have No Choice But To Take An Indefinite Break From Live Performing"
Just last week we heard that John Mayer’s new single ‘Shadow Days‘ off his new album, Born and Raised, was to be out soon followed by a spring U.S. tour. We thought he had made a recovery because work on the album commenced and the tour was announced, but sadly today John has come out and said that he will be postponing performing live INDEFINITELY as his vocal chord illness has returned and he needs to undergo more therapy and a significant hiatus from singing.
