'Women Exaggerate Everything'

I’m not gonna lie… this video made me feel pretty damn good. If you’ve ever pushed a human being out of your um body, and then tried to explain to another person (i.e. a man) what that felt like– you know, having a full-blow human being push his/her way into the world, past your organs, and fallopian tubes, and all that good stuff– you’ve probably felt like they just didn’t get it, ultimately. Because there’s really no way to get it, unless you experience it. But science has ways of expressing what some of us can’t, and two men involved with the Kensington Church (a non-denominational organization) recently decided to celebrate Mother’s Day by going through electronically stimulated labor pains as their wives looked on. LMAO, yes. It is awesome (so is this video of a couple of Dutch guys doing it). And even though it compares in no way to the real deal, you can tell their wives really, really had a blast watching this go down. Women, mothers, everyone– enjoy!

Remember over the weekend when we saw (and heard) video footage of Kanye West walking into a metal sign in Beverly Hills, which resulted in an explosion of anger at the paparazzi who dared to photograph the incident? Well, Kanye walked away from that incident will a little reminder of his mishap in for form of a pretty significant dent in his forehead. Ouch! Judging by the size of Kanye‘s new head wound, it’s clear that he bashed his head pretty hard into that sign. It turns out that Kanye‘s head isn’t the only thing that got bashed recently. His $750,000 Lamborghini Aventador got banged up pretty badly this week … which proves that the rich and famous DON’T have all the luck. More »

Yesterday Angelina Jolie shared with the world her brave and bold decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy after she tested positive for the BRCA1 gene that put her at an 87% chance at developing breast cancer. Jolie‘s revelation yesterday sent shockwaves around the world and sparked an important conversation about the BRCA1 gene and the need for testing. Angelina‘s fiancée and father of her children, Brad Pitt, released a statement in support of Angelina‘s brave decision, which you can read below. Additionally, People magazine is now reporting that Angelina has decided to take the next step and will have her ovaries removed, since she has a 50% chance of developing ovarian cancer as well. Wow. Back in April we learned that Sharon Osbourne made the difficult but brave decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy due to her genetic predisposition to breast cancer … today we learn that actress Angelina Jolie has made that difficult and brave decision as well. In an opinion piece written for the New York Times, Angelina reveals to the world that she has decided that due to an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, her only option was to undergo the procedure … and today she shares her story with the world. Watch: Kanye West Walks Into A Sign Then FLIPS OUT On The Paparazzi

OUCH!!!!!

So … Kanye West and his baby-mama-to-be were out and about in Beverly Hills this week trying to make their way into a restaurant when they were met by the paparazzi. Kanye accidentally walked into a large metal sign and banged his head pretty badly … as a result, and probably due to horrible embarrassment, Kanye then proceeded to FLIP OUT on the paps who were taking photos of his mishap. Naturally, his emotive explosion was caught on video (tho, the actual moment he bashed his head was not captured on video) which you can watch in the embed above. After the incident, Kanye and his chick went inside the restaurant to cool off … but the attempt was unsuccessful. Nickelodeon's 26th Annual Kids' Choice Awards - Arrivals

Actress Kristen Stewart has been pretty low-key lately. While she has hit up a red carpet event here or there, she’s mostly been spotted boo’d up with Robert Pattinson. We last saw her at the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, and just before that she was spotted hanging out with Rob at a karaoke bar in LA. The two are expected to show up together for NYC’s upcoming Met Ball, but first K-Stew might have some minor insurance-related issues to take care of. Twilight actress Ashley Greene suffered through a horrible Friday afternoon when a fire erupted in her LA apartment. Ashley was asleep in her home with her boyfriend, and her brother was also in the apartment. They all made it out of the condo without injury, and no other residents in the building were injured, but one of Ashley‘s two dogs was not rescued in time and, sadly, died in the apartment. The other dog is safe and will reportedly be treated for injuries at Animal Control. Click inside to learn more.

Lil’ Wayne Released From The Hospital After Spending Days In ICU

Late Friday afternoon, TMZ reported that rapper Lil’ Wayne was knocking on death’s door, that his mother was flying to be by his side so that she could make medical decisions for him and that he was given his last rites. Today they are reporting that Lil’ Wayne was released from the hospital last night with a clean bill of health. Yeah. I’m going to take a wild stab in the dark and say that TMZ was operating and disseminating really bad information last week. Lil’ Wayne not only lives but he’s well enough to continue his recuperation at home. More »

Morrissey Contracts Double Pneumonia, Cancels US Tour

Sigh. It would seem that Morrissey‘s 2013 US Tour is just not meant to be. After severe illness caused Morrissey to postpone months of shows at the start of the year (including a show I was supposed to see back home in Michigan), he triumphantly performed a string of shows here in SoCal in front of sold out venues of fans (I was lucky enough to attend 3 of those shows — in San Diego, in LA and at Hollywood High School). Unfortunately, Morrissey‘s return to the concert stage was short-lived because earlier this week he had to cancel his performance in San Francisco due to a bout of double pneumonia. Last night, Morrissey released a statement that is sure to break hearts all across the country … due to his continued illness, he has been forced to cancel completely the rest of his US Tour :( More »

Lil’ Wayne May Or May Not Be On His Death Bed

TMZ set off a firestorm of activity on Twitter a few hours ago when they reported that rapper Lil’ Wayne (née Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.) was so near death that last rites were administered as his family awaited his death. It’s unclear what Wayne‘s status is now since TMZ has softened on their reporting of events and in light of Wayne‘s camp categorically denying that Weezy is near death.
