Like, REALLY Sorry
Morrissey is no stranger to having to cancel and/or postpone concert dates so he should be used to it already but by the sound of the apology he released on his official website in the wake of the cancelation of his scheduled concert dates in Peru and Chile, it appears that he is really broken up at having to cancel … again. Moz got his South American tour off to a promising start by, you know, actually performing a show or two but after he and his touring band/staff came down with a nasty bout of food poisoning well … the tour had to be postponed to later in the year and quite a few dates had to be canceled altogether. Click below to read the full text of Morrissey‘s poetic and misery-laded apology letter to his fans and see just how upset he is at having to cancel … again. More »

"YUP, I'M DOING 'THE VIEW'!"
Last week it was announced that Elizabeth Hasselbeck quit the daytime talk show The View to go work for Fox News (good riddance, IMHO) and today we learn who will be replacing her on the show. Funny lady and sometimes talk show host Jenny McCarthy has been added as the newest co-host on The View … and she couldn’t be more thrilled by the prospect. ABC made the official announcement today and Jenny did as well on her official blog. Click below to read what ABC has to say about McCarthy‘s casting on The View and find out just how excited Jenny is about her new job. More »
"With all the negativity... I'm sad to say twitter is no longer for me."
Early last month we learned that actress Jennifer Love Hewitt was expecting her first child with boyfriend and Client List co-star Brian Hallisay. Shortly thereafter, it was confirmed that the two were actually engaged to be married, and we even got a peek at the bling. One can assume that this is a totally exciting time in her life, and at the same time it’s a lot to take on at once for any person. As a celebrity, Jennifer is obviously subject to a different kind of criticism and/or public scrutiny, and it sounds like she’s had enough. The pregnant actress just announced that she is OV-AH Twitter for now, as the spirit of the social media site has just gotten too negative for her. Click inside for more.

During her concert stop here in LA on Friday night, Beyoncé gave a shout out in support of marriage equality right before she launched her performance of Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). Right before she performed the song she said, “If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it“. Her comment was met with thunderous applause in the wake of the Ninth Circuit Court‘s decision to immediately life the stay on California’s Proposition 8 which immediately allowed same-sex marriages to return to the state. Apparently, Bey wanted her message to reach a wider audience so she shared a handwritten message of support for marriage equality with all of her followers on her various social media networks. See the message below. More »

The Food Network Is NOT Impressed, Is NOT Renewing Her Contract!
It’s here y’all! (Even though it was removed from YouTube 12 minutes after it went live because it is so ridiculous and awkward, her people clearly wanted it erased from the history of the internet– they lose). I knew it would only be a matter of time before Paula Deen‘s I’m sorry for using the ‘n-word’ video dropped, and here it is! After we learned that the celebrity chef had been practicing her own particular brand of racism, we also found out that she was a no-show at what was supposed to be her no-holds-barred interview with Today‘s Matt Lauer. Looks like she took that time to, instead, record this ridiculous faux-apology video. Brace yourselves y’all– there’s a helluva lotta pink here (not that I… uh… have a problem with pink; I have, like, three pink shirts and I always treat them with kindness and respect) and it’s more distracing than the hair, the awkward pauses where they edited god knows what, and the fact that she seems more concerned with being forgiven than actually apologizing for the crazy, Jim Crow-esque ish she had popping off in her restaurant. Peep the video for more! UPDATE: Paula Deen has seen fit to release another apology video. Click inside to watch her try and get it right the second time around. Lordy.

"It just was not working"
In the wake of the exciting release this week of the new Nine Inch Nails single Came Back Haunted, we learn today that new NIN guitarist Adrian Belew (of King Crimson) has decided to leave the band. Belew posted a message on his official Facebook profile that announced his departure from NIN but that message has since been deleted from the page. He posted a follow-up message that is much shorter but still announces his departure from the band. As you may recall, we learned last month that bassist Eric Avery (of Jane’s Addiction) decided to leave the band due to the time commitment required from touring and has since been replaced with former NIN band member Robin Finck. Click below to read Adrian Belew‘s statements regarding his decision to quit NIN. More »
