Yesterday we learned that Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey welcomed their third child into the world on Friday. Sources claimed that Camila gave birth to a girl, but Matthew says otherwise! I’m kind of inclined to believe the guy who was there, so congrats on the new baby boy! A few of us were wondering what name Camila and Matthew would come up with; their older children are named Vida and Levi (great names, I think). Last week we heard the sad rumor that former Real Housewives of NYC star Bethenny Frankel and husband Jason Hoppy were splitting up … today we learn officially that the couple are, in fact, dunzo. Bethenny released an official statement confirming the split yesterday, just 2 days before Xmas :( Reports of discord in the couple’s relationship have been going around for a while now so, sadly, it’s not a huge surprise to learn that the couple have decided to call it quits. Halle Berry, Olivier Martinez, And Gabriel Aubry Have Settled Their Beef In Court

Halle Berry and her daughter Nahla Aubry are all prepared for the rainy day, as they head to Nahla's school in Los Angeles

The Halle Berry/Olivier Martinez/Gabriel Aubry beef has been so intense, I really did think things wouldn’t get settled until Trent and I faced off in our much-anticipated water pistols/balloon fight. But it’s looking like our friendship (and my hair) will no longer need to be sacrificed in the name of justice, because somehow the three parties have come to some agreement in court, following a Thanksgiving Day brawl like no other. Just days ago, Olivier (Halle‘s fiancé) and Gabe (Halle‘s ex and babydaddy) were fighting like a couple of seventh grade boys after Gabe showed up at Halle‘s home to drop off their daughter Nahla. Gabe was arrested and restraining orders were being thrown every which way; PITNBRS debated  about the possible cause of the fight– and where to place the blame. Now, all seems to be well-ish. There have been so many new developments in the Kevin Clash sexual abuse scandal, and none of them have been good for the voice of Elmo. After the second young man came forward and accused the now-disgraced puppeteer of sexual abuse, Kevin resigned as the voice of Sesame Street‘s favorite character. Shortly thereafter, a third anonymous man came forward making similar claims of abuse. Today, we are hearing a very different tune being sung by one of Kevin‘s former boyfriends. Kevin Clash’s Accuser Recants Allegations Of Sexual Abuse Against The Voice Of ‘Elmo’

Okay, here’s my problem. Now that Kevin Clash‘s accuser has recanted his previous allegations of sexual abuse, we should all be relieved right? Because it, potentially means that Clash was innocent of the charges and we can all go back to loving Elmo with little-to-no awkwardness in our souls. However, it also means that we have one more person in the world who made up a sexual abuse story (for whatever reason), making it that much harder for actual cases of sexual abuse to be taken seriously. And then again– as PITNBR Lynne pointed out– “Elmo” might have written someone a big fat check. So yeah, I’m kinda pissed about this whole movement. Ugh. This is bad, ya’ll. If you have children or if you’ve ever been in the presence of any child anywhere, you know that Elmo from Sesame Street is a beloved, near-sacred being. Emmy Award-winning Kevin Clash (who voices the character) has become almost as well-known as the face of Elmo himself (well, maybe not ‘almost,’ but he’s recognizable to some of us). It saddens and sickens me to report that he has been accused of having sex with a minor. The two admittedly entered into a relationship when the boy was 16 and Kevin was 45, though Kevin claims the relationship never got sexual until after the boy was of age. Yeah. No. Deets inside.

Back in February of 2010 we learned that longtime couple Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard got themselves engaged to be married. Altho the couple has yet to say their I Dos, we learn today that the couple are expecting the birth of their first child! That’s right, in the case of these lovebirds … first comes love, then comes baby … then, I’m assuming, will come the wedding … at some point.
