Mariah Carey, who is still mourning the death of her dear friend Whitney Houston, shared a Valentine’s Day message with all of her fans on her official Twitter profile yesterday. Altho Mimi felt it was a “bittersweet” Valentine’s Day this year, she still wanted to let all of her Lambs know how much she loves and cares for them. Awww. Over the weekend, we learned that Nick Cannon made his first post-surgery public appearance at The BET Honors in Washington DC (with wife Mariah Carey and son Moroccan Scott by his side). Earlier this month we learned that Nick Cannon was hospitalized with minor kidney failure while he was vacationing in Aspen, CO with his wife Mariah Carey and their twin children Monroe and Moroccan Scott. A couple of weeks later, we learned the happy news that Nick was released from the hospital after undergoing successful surgery so that he could recuperate at home. Today we learn that Nick made his first public appearance since his release from the hospital at the BET Honors in Washington DC last night. Last week, Pink is the new Blog writer Melissa blogged about Nick Cannon‘s hospitalization for minor kidney failure and a few days later she updated us with good news about his recovery. Today we learn from wife Mariah Carey herself that Nick has been discharged from the hospital and is now back home to recover with his family. Kidney failure is no joke, y’all so it’s a very good sign that doctors think he is well enough to leave the hospital … great news all around. Every year, Mariah Carey makes her way to Aspen, CO to celebrate the Xmas/New Year holidays. When she started dating then eventually married Nick Cannon, he joined in on her annual pilgrimage to Aspen. Last year, Mimi and Nick gave birth to their twin babies Monroe and Moroccan Scott so, naturally, they too get to spend their holidays in Colorado. Over the weekend, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were finally able to bring their twin children Monroe and Moroccan Scott home from the hospital and today we get our FIRST LOOK at the new parents as they made their way home from the hospital with their little babies. New daddy Nick Cannon picked up his family in his snazzy Rolls Royce and the babies were securely fastened in the back seat under their baby blankets. New daddy Nick Cannon was a guest on the OWN network talk show The Gayle King Show this week and talked at some length about the birth of his twin children Monroe and Moroccan Scott and the “production” that was put into place as the babies emerged from Mariah Carey‘s womb. According to Nick, Mimi insisted that a live version of her music was playing when the babies were born “they came out to a round of applause”. Uh huh. He also refers to the interesting names of his children as a product of Mimi and Nick‘s “celebrity weirdness”.
