Thus far we saw official(ly kinda boring) photos HERE and HERE from the set of the upcoming sequel film Jurassic World but today, courtesy of Scified, we get our first look at the thing that we all really want to see from the movie set … the dinosaurs! Thankfully, Jurassic World will feature both animatronic and CGI dinosaurs (very much like the original Jurassic Park movie did) and, as such, we get to check out a neat leaked photo that shows us what the Velociraptor dinosaurs will look like in Jurassic World. Have a look below, won’t you? More »

In the Can
A few days ago, we got to see a set of neat promo photos in support of the upcoming sequel film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which is due to hit theaters later this year. Today we learn that the final film in the Hunger Games franchise, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, has officially wrapped filming production. Altho there are things like editing, scoring, etc. left to complete the final film, all of the acting parts of production are officially finished … which, it turns out, is hugely emotional for the cast and crew of the movies. "Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates."
71-year old Harrison Ford suffered an accident on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII that sent him to the hospital with an injured ankle. Ford, as you should be well aware, is reprising his role as Han Solo in the film and it sounds like he was injured while he was doing something Han Solo-ish. "I wish people would stop ..."
A couple of days ago photos that were taken on the closed set of Star Wars: Episode VII were leaked to the Internets and a day later, more photos purported to be from the Star Wars set came to light as well. Just a short time ago, director JJ Abrams posted on Twitter a note that he wrote to the cast and crew of Episode VII asking them to “stop leaking photos” from the movie set. JJ‘s note also “clears up” rumors that the Millennium Falcon will appear in the movie. Click below to read JJ‘s note and see what he has to say about the photo leaks from the Star Wars set. More »
Not a long time ago, On a movie set far away
A couple of weeks ago we got to see the handwritten note that director JJ Abrams penned for the cast and crew of Star Wars: Episode VII which is now filming in Europe. You may also recall that we got to see a tiny portion of the Episode VII set in that charity video announcement that was released around the same time. Considering how HUGE the new Star Wars film will be, I assumed that security would be air tight and these small glimpses at the set would be few and very far between. Yeah, I was completely wrong about that. TMZ managed to get their hands on over 40 photos that were snapped on the Star Wars set that show creatures, characters and locations that appear on set. It’s unknown how they got their hands on the photos but as you can see in the gallery presented here, the photos appear to have been taken by someone who was allowed to take photos on set. I don’t, personally, find the photos to be spoilery at all but they do give us an early, unauthorized look at the characters that we will see in the movie as well as one big creature. I’m glad to see that there will be less CGI in this movie and more creature puppetry … just like the original trilogy of Star Wars films. Check out the gallery and enjoy a mini-tour of the set of Star Wars: Episode VII.
Jessie & Benji
Last month, Rebel Wilson shared the FIRST PHOTO from the set of the upcoming sequel film Pitch Perfect 2 and just last week, she shared a second photo that features the new and old faces of the Barton Bellas a capella singing group. Today we learn that two of our fave male characters from Pitch Perfect are also back for Pitch Perfect 2. Ben Platt (Benji) posted a photo on his official Twitter profile with co-star and on-screen roommate Skylar Astin (Jessie) on their first day of filming this week. It looks like the gang is all coming back for another round of Pitch Perfect fun. More »
A $10 donation to UNICEF is all that is needed
Star Wars: Episode VII director JJ Abrams is announcing today a new opportunity for fans to appear in the upcoming film with a simple donation to a new charity initiative called Star Wars: Force for Change which benefits UNICEF‘s Innovation Labs and its innovative projects benefitting children in need. A $10 dollar donation HERE will not only help fund this charity initiative but it will also enter you for a chance to be flown to London to appear IN Episode VII (larger donations offer other prizes). The video above features Abrams making this announcement from the Star Wars set in Abu Dabi and, as you can see, also features the introduction of a new alien that will be featured in the movie. Watch the video above and see if you are inspired to make a donation to this charity in order to have a chance to appear in Star Wars: Episode VII.
