And, therefore, so does Spider-Man
Filming continued this weekend on the NYC set of the forthcoming sequel film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and as you can see below, the principal stars (Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy respectively) filmed a very important scene for the film. As you may know, the Spider-Man character featured in this new film franchise is still high school-aged and, as a result, must go thru all of the teenage rights of passage that other kids do … erm, while being a big time superhero. In Amazing 2, Peter and Gwen will graduate high school at some point and that scene was filmed yesterday. Check out the fun photos below. More »
Behind the Scenes
The Ryan Gosling movie The Place Beyond the Pines may have come out last month but it remains the film that just keeps on giving. W magazine published a series of behind the scenes photos that were snapped on the set of Pines and one photo in particular caught my eye. In the film, Gosling plays a guy from the wrong side of the tracks who sports a set of seriously serious tattoos. Quite a few of these fake tattoos are seen in the film but many of them were not seen because they were “inked” onto parts of his body that were not on display in the film. But, if you click below, you’ll see a behind the scenes photo of a very shirtless Ryan Gosling showing off a massive fake tattoo on his back. Trust me, you’re gonna wanna see it. More »
So Freaking Cool
OMG … are you ready to see the coolest thing ever? As you may know, Andrew Garfield has been bizzy filming scenes for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in NYC, NY in recent weeks. In between takes, he’s been finding the time to make-out with his co-star and real life girlfriend Emma Stone. He’s also been finding the time to play a little basketball with local kids … while still dressed in his Spider-Man costume. Seriously, the video above is the coolest thing ever. EVER. I just love Andrew Garfield so much right now. What a guy, what a hero.
Something's Tingling in these Photos
Back in March we saw photos of actress Emma Stone on the NYC set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shooting scenes with co-star Shailene Woodley (the new Mary Jane Watson). As you may recall, Emma‘s real life boyfriend and Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield was nowhere to be seen on that day. Today we get to see new photos of Emma on the Amazing set and this time she is filming scenes with Andrew … and the couple are still so much in love that they couldn’t help but steal a few kisses in between filming takes. It’s really cute … to the point of near nausea. Check out the photos below! More »
These Afros Are Sooo Appropriate
Yaaasssss! Last week we heard the awesome news that Kanye West (AKA Young Yeezus) had joined the cast of Anchorman: The Legend Continues. But wait– there are more rappers! Drizzy Drake was recently photographed on set, and now I really, really can’t wait for this movie! I mean, the thought of him being in a film like this isn’t quite as shocking as Kanye‘s casting; many of us still refer to Drake as ‘Jimmy from Degrassi.’ But this is still hilarious. "Welcome to 1973"
Thus far this year, director Bryan Singer has shown us exclusive photos from the set of the upcoming prequel sequel film X-Men: Days of Future Past. First, he showed us a pair of wheelchairs to be used by Professor Charles Xavier (both young and old played by Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy respectively) and then he showed us what Halle Berry looks like in her reprised role of Storm. Today we get to see a photo of actors Hugh Jackman and Nicholas Hoult as they film new scenes for Days of Future Past. As you may know, those of you who saw X-Men: First Class, Hoult plays the young Beast in the film. Jackman cameoed in First Class as Wolverine but he was not really featured in the film at all. This time around, it looks like he will play a more significant role. Check out the photo below and speculate along, will you? More »
The Reboot Reboots
Back in March of 2012 we learned that the planned remake of the 1987 film RoboCop found it’s lead actor … then we saw the first photos of star Joel Kinnaman on set in costume as RoboCop as filming production on the movie got underway. Then, seemingly out of the blue, we learned that production on the reboot was halted because the film’s release date was pushed back from 2013 to 2014. Honestly, I thought for sure the pushed back release date was just a way for the studio to scrap the movie altogether … but today we get to see new photos from the set of RoboCop, proving that the reboot plans are back in action. In case you forgot what Kinnaman looks like as the new RoboCop (or just want a fresh look), check out new photos from the set below. More »

That-Ish-Cray Of The Day
As we all know, the Anchorman sequel is officially going down, and everyone’s expecting big things. A little while back we heard reports about Kristen Wiig joining the movie and now we’ve got some really fun casting news. Kanye West (who’s somewhere nursing his wounds and his pride after running into a pole headfirst) was recently spotted on the set of Anchorman: The Legend Continues. I cannot even explain how happy this makes me, lol! Click inside for more!
Motion-Capture Suits in Action
Yesterday we saw the first photos of actress Megan Fox in character as reporter April O’Neil on the NYC set of the upcoming film adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Today we get to see photos of the actual turtle actors on set filming new scenes and as you can see below, they were “in character” … sorta. Actors Jeremy Howard (Donatello), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo) and Pete Ploszek (Leonardo) were spotted on set in full motion-capture suits that will allow digital animators to turn the into CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in post production. Reporting for Duty
Back in February we learned that Megan Fox kissed and made up with director Michael Bay and was cast as female lead April O’Neil in the forthcoming film adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Today we learn that filming on TMNT has begun in NYC and we get our first look at Megan as April. Now, don’t go getting all crazy over this news … Megan Fox looks amazingly like Megan Fox in the photos below … but because we know she’s playing intrepid reporter April O’Neil in the film, she magically becomes April O’Neil in the photos. Have a look, will you? More »
