Last week we got to see a pretty sweet look at The Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) filming a scene together on the set of Suicide Squad. Today, we get to see a new video from the set that gives us a very good indication that Batman (Ben Affleck) may appear in some capacity in this new superhero movie. An industrious fan managed to get Instagram video of a scene being filmed where The Joker and Harley Quinn were being chased by the Batmobile. SO, unless Batman‘s whip gets stolen by someone else, it seems pretty likely that Batman will appear in Suicide Squad at least in some capacity. More »
Her last movie as Mystique
Back in March, Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence announced that the forthcoming prequel/sequel superhero movie X-Men: Apocalypse will be her last playing the role of Mystique / Raven Darkholme. Today, courtesy of director Bryan Singer, we get our first look at J. Law on the Apocalypse set. As you can see below, Jennifer is joined by Bryan and her X-Men co-star/ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult in the photo. It’s a bummer that Jennifer has decided that she will not be playing Mystique beyond the next X-Men movie but I am very excited to see her play the role one more time before she’s done for good. Thus far, we’ve seen photos of Jared Leto as The Joker as he will be seen in the upcoming superhero movie Suicide Squad as well as what actress Margot Robbie will look like as Harley Quinn in the film. Today we get to see a neat photo of Leto and Robbie as The Joker and Harley filming a scene together (shared on Instagram by an industrious fan). Jared is looking very Joker-y in the photo below but Margot isn’t quite done up as Harley Quinn … even still, they strike a pose that is very recognizable to comic book fans. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure how this Suicide Squad movie will turn out but I do love these characters so it definitely has my attention. Check out the photo below and see if it grabs your attention, too. More »

Day 2 of filming
Yesterday we got to see photos from the first day of filming the upcoming superhero prequel/sequel film X-Men: Apocalypse in the city of Montreal, Quebec. Today, courtesy of director Bryan Singer, we get to see a great photo from the second day of filming. Bryan posted the photo below of actors Lana Condor and Sophie Turner in character as the young versions of Jubliee and Jean Grey as they will appear in the early ’80s-era X-Men: Apocalypse. As you can see, they both look totally tubular, way rad and so bitchin’. More »
We thank ye gods for these here gifts
Dear sweet lord baby Jebus in heaven, do I have a bunch of really great photos to share with all y’all today. Yesterday we saw photos of actor Zac Efron mostly nekkid, wearing only a pair of nude-colored underpants on the set of his new movie Dirty Grandpa. Today we get to see more photos of Zac on the Dirty Grandpa set, this time with co-star Robert de Niro. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Zac is shirtless again in these photos and BOY, is he ever. Make sure you check out each photo in full size to truly appreciate what we’re seeing here. If Dirty Grandpa doesn’t get nominated for all the eligible Academy Awards possible, there is truly no justice in the world.
A couple of days ago, we got our first look at young actor Kodi Smit-McPhee as he will look as Nightcrawler in the upcoming superhero prequel sequel film X-Men: Apocalypse. Today we learn that filming production of the next X-Men movie has begun in Montreal, Québec courtesy of photos shared by director Bryan Singer and eagle-eyed fans who managed to find the movie set. Singer reveals that X-Men: Apocalypse is set in the early 1980′s — “around 1983″ — and day 1 of filming took place in a shopping mall (fitting). A pair of photos shared by a fan on Twitter give us another look at Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler and gives us our first look at Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops and Lana Condor as Jubilee. There are photos of Zac Efron wearing a fringe cut-off shirt on the Tybee Island, GA et of his new movie Dirty Grandpa that have been getting a lot of attention because of his visible abs. The gallery presented here features newer photos of Zac on the set of Dirty Grandpa of him wearing much less than a fringe cut-off shirt. It’s not entirely clear what exactly is going on other than the fact that Zac appears to be wearing only his underwear (which may be blurred out in the final film) with the words Team Hornet written on his chest and a stuffed animal to hide his naughty bits. As you can see in these photos, there is much more about Zac to enjoy in this gallery … which is yours to ogle at your leisure. Please enjoy.
There will be blood
Earlier this month we saw photos from the Vancouver, British Columbia set of Deadpool and today we get another update from the Deadpool set. Ryan Reynolds shared a photo of himself from the set letting us know that filming production of the movie has reached the midpoint. As you can see below, the fake-bloodied Reynolds is not wearing his Deadpool costume so it looks like he is giving us another look at Wade Wilson (but without his scars). Click below to see this new photo and see how much fun/work is going into the making of Deadpool. More »

The Joker Returns
Thus far, we’ve seen Jared Leto‘s pre-Joker transformation and the early stages of his post-Joker transformation for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. Today we get our first, kinda blurry look at Leto in full costume and make-up on the set of Suicide Squad. The photo hasn’t been officially released … instead, this first look at his version of The Joker is a picture of a picture that Jared was showing off on his iPhone. As you can see below, it looks like the image of Jared as The Joker was taken during filming of the movie. Click below to have a looksee. More »
