On Set, In Detroit
Henry Cavill and Amy Adams are among the latest celebrities to accept The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and today, we get to see the video that they did while on the Detroit, MI set of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The neat thing about this video is that Henry and Amy accepted the challenge in costume as Superman and Lois Lane. Make sure you watch to the very end … this is one challenge that keeps on giving and giving. Hahaha. Enjoy.
Earlier this week, photos of Henry Cavill wearing his new Superman suit on the Detroit, MI set of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice started making the rounds but in those photos, Henry was wearing a robe covering most of the suit. Today we get to see a photo of Henry with his robe WIDE OPEN, showing us the super duds that he will be wearing in the film. We’ve already saw him in character as mild-mannered Clark Kent. Click below to see him as Superman … again. More »
Plus, check out Han Solo's duds and the new Stormtrooper helmet
Earlier this week we learned that filming production will resume on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII now that Harrison Ford is well enough to film again since he injured his foot earlier this year. Today we get a SLEW of updates about the new Star Wars movie. First, we learn that Mark Hamill will be rockin’ a hot silver beard when he reprises his role as Luke Skywalker: Aged Jedi. Second, we get to see the fancy clothes that Ford‘s Han Solo will be wearing in the movie. Third, we get our first look at the alleged new helmets worn by the villainous Stormtroopers. So much Star Wars goodness in one post, I can hardly contain myself. More »
Early last week we got to see arial footage of the set of the superhero movie Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice which is currently filming in Detroit, MI. Today we get another look from the set of Dawn of Justice, this time in photo form. Last month, we got to see a new photo of actor Ben Affleck in costume as Batman as he will appear in this upcoming movie. Today we get to see him on set in costume as billionaire Bruce Wayne. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Bruce Wayne is merely Ben Affleck wearing a shirt, vest, tie and sneakers (???) … so the photos aren’t really all that exciting. It appears that Ben‘s Bruce is surveying the wreckage of Wayne Enterprises, which we saw arial footage of last week. THE MOVIE IS ALL COMING TOGETHER, FOLKS. You excited? Honestly, I wish I were excited but I’m mostly really worried so … yeah.

In the Can
A few days ago, we got to see a set of neat promo photos in support of the upcoming sequel film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which is due to hit theaters later this year. Today we learn that the final film in the Hunger Games franchise, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, has officially wrapped filming production. Altho there are things like editing, scoring, etc. left to complete the final film, all of the acting parts of production are officially finished … which, it turns out, is hugely emotional for the cast and crew of the movies. "Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates."
71-year old Harrison Ford suffered an accident on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII that sent him to the hospital with an injured ankle. Ford, as you should be well aware, is reprising his role as Han Solo in the film and it sounds like he was injured while he was doing something Han Solo-ish. "I wish people would stop ..."
A couple of days ago photos that were taken on the closed set of Star Wars: Episode VII were leaked to the Internets and a day later, more photos purported to be from the Star Wars set came to light as well. Just a short time ago, director JJ Abrams posted on Twitter a note that he wrote to the cast and crew of Episode VII asking them to “stop leaking photos” from the movie set. JJ‘s note also “clears up” rumors that the Millennium Falcon will appear in the movie. Click below to read JJ‘s note and see what he has to say about the photo leaks from the Star Wars set. More »
