"THE BIEBS IS BACK!"
Justin Bieber made his return to the public eye with the release this week of photos and video of his new spokesmodel campaigns for both Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Jeans. Today we see that the return of The Biebs continues with a featured photospread and interview in the new issue of V magazine. JB was photographed and interviewed for V by fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld and as you can see in the gallery presented here, Justin saw no need to wear a shirt in his spread. If you are so inclined, you can read Bieber‘s interview with Lagerfeld HERE but I’m telling it, it’s far less interesting than the photos you can see right here.
At least 12 people have been killed, 3 gunman still at large
Earlier today, armed gunman stormed the offices of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris in what is very obviously a terrorist attack on the publication. Charlie Hebdo has a storied reputation of publishing scathing and oftentimes offensive satire on religion and political figures, a reputation that has made the magazine the target of threats of violence. The offices of Charlie Hebdo were fire-bombed back in 2011 after the magazine published a cartoon that lambasted Islam. Today’s deadly massacre of a reported 12 people — including the magazine’s editor-in-chief — appears to be a more forceful attack on the publication and what it stands for … freedom of speech. As France reels from this horrific attack, new information about the shooting continues to make its way out of Paris. More »

Woot! Woot! I am a recent Jourdan Dunn convert, and I just can’t help but be excited for her right now. I remember a while back, I resisted her charms… mainly because someone I’d made babies with was, like, obsessed with her and it used to drive me cray. But finally one day he convinced me to watch her cooking show and I was like, Okay yes fine. She’s funny, and kinda quirky so yes. I support her movement. Dunn has been consistently turning out great work, and it’s paying off in some major ways. She just scored her first British Vogue cover, making her the first black model in TWELVE YEARS to grace the cover alone. Click inside for more!
"I thought I was going to die"
Last week we got our first look at Nicki Minaj‘s new Rolling Stone cover and today we learn what’s inside. Nicki gives one of her most personal interviews to RS this month, which you can read excerpted below. Nicki reveals why she has decided, as a celebrity, not to speak out about controversial issues (“Look what happened to Kanye when he spoke out. People told him to apologize to Bush!“) and she opens up a bit about the abortion she had as a teenager (“It was the hardest thing I’d ever gone through“). Instead of shocking us with her usually sexy image, Nicki is showing us a different side of her by giving us a look within. More »
"There are times when I feel as big and tall as Will!"
Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith is happy to show off her absolutely sick body on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Shape magazine. In her cover story interview, Jada talks about her motivation to keep in shape (it’s not just about looking good for her husband Will Smith) and she reveals a secret to her almost 20-year long happy marriage. But, really, the draw here is the photos … Jada looks absolutely flawless. I have to say, she is probably my favorite actor on the Fox TV series Gotham so I have a renewed love for the actress. Click below to see how great Jada looks on the cover and inside the new issue of Shape and try not to seethe with jealousy. More »

It's not what you think
Nicki Minaj is featured on the cover of the upcoming new issue of Rolling Stone magazine, scheduled for a January release, and as you can see below in this early look at the coverphoto, Nicki is stripped down to her bare essentials on the cover. That’s not to mean that she’s naked or anything. Her make-up is minimal, her hair is simple and so is the clothing she wearing. For this RS cover, Nicki isn’t wearing couture or high fashion, she is stripped down to just a plain white tank top t-shirt … which she wears very well. More »
“People don’t write songs anymore ... There’s nothing innovative.”
Oh man … Joni Mitchell has got some thangs to say about the state of the music industry today and the so-called artists making new music. In an interview with Vogue magazine, where Mitchell was asked about her new box set, Joni went OFF on the “talentless” musicians making music these days and even sounded offended when she was asked if she had influenced andy of today’s young musicians. To be honest, I don’t get the sense that Joni intended to share her opinions on today’s artists but the questions asked of her seemed to trigger her very blunt and honest response. Read on to learn what Joni Mitchell really thinks about today’s musicians. More »
