"A real musician is always in creative mode"
Prince, the artist formerly known as O(+>, is featured on the cover of the new issue of Essence magazine. As the headliner of the Essence Fest this year, it was a no brainer to put Prince on the June cover. The coverstory feature chronicles a night at one of Prince‘s legendary marathon concert performances, the one he did here in LA back in March (which I MISSED because I had to run the stupid LA Marathon), and reveals to the world what goes on both before and after one of Prince‘s shows. Click below to check out his coverphoto and get a taste of this coverstory feature. More »

“It’s a never-ending struggle.”
Zac Efron is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter which devotes the feature story to Efron‘s struggle with addiction as well as an overview of his acing career in support of his new movie Neighbors. As you may recall, we learned earlier this year that Zac has been dealing with substance abuse issues and was involved a few weeks ago in a very shady incident in the skid row portion of downtown LA that many claim sounded like a drug deal gone wrong. As always, The Hollywood Reporter gives us a feature story that goes into great detail thanks to a great interview with Efron and his co-stars. Click thru the gallery to see photos from this issue of The Hollywood Reporter then click below to read excerpts from Zac‘s interview where he addresses personally what he says went down on skid row last month. Phucks Need Not Apply
At this point if you haven’t seen Rihanna‘s bare nekkid boobs you either live under a rock or you haven’t been paying very good attention … but just in case you have missed the sight of Ri Ri‘s nekkid breasts, she gives you an eyeful on the cover and in the pages of Lui magazine. As you can see below, the NSFW images show a lot of skin … which, to be honest, is par for the course when it comes to Rihanna photospreads. Just a few days ago, we saw topless photos of Rihanna in Vogue Brazil magazine … but for Lui, Ri Ri pulls out all the stops and gives no phucks in the process. Have a look below. More »

But, hey, what else is new?
Pop star Rihanna is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Vogue Brazil magazine and as you can see in the gallery presented here, Ri Ri decided that she didn’t really need to wear a top for a couple of the photos. To be honest, Rihanna‘s love for NSFW photos isn’t anything new but she sure has a way of managing to make the look work for her. Rihanna definitely knows how to play to her strengths. This issue of Vogue isn’t readily available here in the US but I think you get the picture by checking out this photo gallery. Enjoy.

8-month old Prince George has been garnering a lot of media attention in the past couple of weeks since he participated in his first royal engagement during a visit to New Zealand and Australia with his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton. As a result of the media attention he has been getting, a lot of photos of George have been taken and published. This week, Prince George gets his very first Us Weekly magazine cover which comes complete with airbrushing … because, apparently, a beautiful 8-month old baby isn’t perfect enough to appear on the cover of a tabloid magazine without a bit of digital retouching. But it's not a surprise if you tell us about it first
Mariah Carey is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Billboard magazine and as you can see below, she is lookin’ fine as all get out in the simply black and white photo. The Billboard cover feature story focuses on her much anticipated upcoming new album which they report will be released in a surprise fashion, much like the release of Beyoncé‘s new album last December. For months now, there have been reports that a big music artist was planning a Beyoncé-like surprise album release and there was speculation that the artist might be someone like Madonna or Lana Del Rey … but according to Billboard, Mimi is the one who is hoping to capitalize on sales with the “surprise” release of her album. The message was faked
On Monday we learned that Vogue cut ties with photographer Terry Richardson in the wake of allegations that he solicited model Emma Appelton for sex in exchange for an upcoming Vogue magazine photoshoot. Today we learn that Richardson is innocent of this sex solicitation claim because it has been proven that the message sent to Appleton did not come from Richardson. So, in this circumstance, it looks like Terry Richardson was the victim of someone trying to damage his reputation … as a photographer. More »
