Oprah tasted, tested, sniffed, snuggled, brewed, steeped, read, shared and dared
Each year, Oprah Winfrey selects a long list of her Favorite Things as a way to promote various products for sale right before the holiday shopping season because everyone knows that when Oprah speaks, people listen. Back in the day, when she still hosted The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah used to give each member of the audience in attendance all of the favorite things she selected for that year. Now, all we get is Oprah‘s list published in her O magazine. This year, Oprah selected 72 Favorite Things (of which at least two of them are her own products — a book that she wrote and a DVD of a movie that she produced). Click through the gallery to see a small sample of Oprah‘s Favorite Things and then head over to her official website HERE to see the full list. How many of Oprah‘s 72 Favorite Things are YOU coveting this year?

"It's October 3rd" all over again
2014 marks the 10 year anniversary of the release of the movie Mean Girls and back in August we learned that Mean co-stars Lindsay Lohan and Tina Fey staged a bit of a reunion together. It looks like that mini-reunion was actually a photoshoot for Entertainment Weekly‘s annual Reunions Issue which includes a reunion of all of the Mean Girls stars … Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried included. Click below to see a couple photos of the Mean Girls girls together again and let’s celebrate the movie’s anniversary again with EW magazine. More »
"When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered"
Angelina Jolie is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine where she talks about her new album, Unbroken, and other entertainment-related things … but the portion of her interview that is getting the most attention is the part where she reveals to VF that she is “open” to running for political office. Angelina is very well aware that her fame comes from being an actress — a celebrity — so that alone could be a huge hinderance should she ever decide to actually run for office but … it’s an option that she is, apparently, considering. Click below to read exactly what she has to say about a possible future in politics in the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine. More »
Britney Spears, Miranda Kerr, Mariah Carey & more!
For a minute there, it felt like everyone was popping up pregnant, am I right? As of right now we have a bunch of celebrity Bump Watches going on, with Zoe Saldana, Blake Lively, and Kelly Rowland all expecting—along with Kate Middleton and a host of others. Now, I’m one of those people who thinks the pregnant body is totally weird—something I’m allowed to say, having experienced it thrice. But, with the right lighting and professional photography (and, let’s be real, some airbrushing over the stretch marks), it can totally be beautiful! Here are some of my favorite Baby Bump photoshoots from over the years.
"After the lights came up, a nurse wiped a tear from Hawking’s eye."
I’m not kidding when I say that the first trailer and the second trailer for the upcoming biopic film The Theory of Everything, based on the life of Stephen Hawking which stars Eddie Redmayne, both made me cry when I watched them … yes, tears from mere movie trailers. So I’m not surprised in the least to learn that watching the movie in full made Stephen Hawking cry … which is remarkable considering the movie is retelling of his life story. Redmayne is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Variety magazine and the cover story is all about the brilliance of The Theory of Everything … which you can preview below. "I don't have any fear now"
It has been two years since Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise got divorced and in that time, Katie has kept herself busy with modeling gigs and lots of quality time with her daughter Suri. Today we learn that Katie is featured on the cover of this week’s issue of People magazine which includes a rare interview with the actress. Katie talks about her return to acting in one of the first interviews she’s given to anyone since she and Tom split up back in 2012. More »
Mariqueen, the lead singer for the group How to Destroy Angels, is featured in the pages of the new issue of Style Zeigeist magazine modeling some of the coolest looks for Fall/Winter ’14 and as you can see in the gallery presented here, she looks utterly amazing. Mariqueen was photographed by Emilie Elizabeth who, you may recall, shot album artwork for Skinny Puppy‘s new album back in April ’13. While the world waits for new music from HTDA hopefully sometime soon, it’s nice to see Mariqueen in a fashion editorial spread like this. I love!
"It's been fun to change my physicality."
Earlier this month we saw a heap of super hot photos of Nick Jonas showing off his sick body in the pages of Flaunt magazine. Today we get to see more photos of Nick‘s body in the new issue of Details magazine. In his interview, Nick explains how he bulked up for his role in his new TV series Kingdom, which you can read below, but the real draw here (always) is the pretty photos … which you can check out in the gallery. You know you wanna lick … er, look … so have at it. More »
