The first single from 'Bush'
Last month we learned that Snoop Dogg is coming at us with a new album, executive produced by Pharrell, titled Bush with a first single titled Peaches N Cream. Today we get to hear Peaches N Cream in full with the release of the lyric video embedded above. As you can hear, Peaches is an ode the ladies with a thicker posterior and it features guest vocals by Charlie Wilson. The song deffo has a Pharrell flavor to it so, yeah, it’s pretty smooth. Do you like?
Remember the new Rihanna song that we heard a couple of days ago, titled Towards The Sun from the upcoming Dreamworks animated film Home? Well, it turns out that fellow pop star Jennifer Lopez also has a song on the Home motion picture soundtrack. J. Lo‘s song is titled Feel The Light and you can hear it in full in the lyric video embedded above. The song is pretty good and, as you can hear, J. Lo sings the Hell out of it. With new music by Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez on the soundtrack, it sounds like Home might turn out to be a pretty decent movie. Does this movie look like something you’d like to see? As for this J. Lo song, do you like?

"You're a copycat, get back / I'm always on your mind"
Last August, lyrics from an alleged Madonna diss track titled Two Steps Behind Me about Lady Gaga were released online. Because no audio ever surfaced to corroborate the authenticity of the lyrics, the story kinda went nowhere … until yesterday. In the wake of an initial 13 leaked demo songs from the recording sessions for Madonna‘s as-yet unreleased album Rebel Heart and after another 17 unfinished demo songs were subsequently leaked, 3 more demo songs leaked yesterday … including the so-called Lady Gaga diss track Two Steps Behind Me. It turns out that the lyrics that were released in August were 100% correct (“You’re a copycat, Where is my royalty? You’re a pretty girl, I’ll give you that. But stealing my recipe, it’s an ugly look“). In response to the demo leak, Lady Gaga posted a nasty message on her official Instagram profile seemingly directed at Madonna even as Madonna and her manager Guy Oseary tried to convince us that the diss track isn’t directed at Gaga (yeah right). The leaking of Madonna‘s demos continues to get messier … and we are still more than 2 months away from the release of Madonna‘s album. OY! A few hours ago, a Thanksgiving miracle happened when a low quality snippet of new MADONNA music leaked its way to the Internets, giving us our first listen of Maddy‘s new song Rebel Heart. Mariah Carey is responsible for the single greatest Xmas song written in the past two decades (her massive hit All I Want For Christmas Is You) but there is a NEW Xmas song out this week that just may give Mimi a run for her money. Straight No Chaser teamed up with Kristen Bell for a new song titled Text Me Merry Christmas and as you can hear above in the just-released lyric video, it’s a carol that is very appros for today’s technology-obsessed culture. Have a listen and see what you think, is this new track an Xmas carol for the new era?
