"I guess it was one of those meant-to-be things."
We are mere WEEKS away from the premiere of the all new season of The X Factor and that means, of course, the start of weekly doses of Britney Spears ON TV!!!! Of course The X Factor is more than just Britney but … I can’t lie, she’s 1000% the draw for me. Britney and her fellow X Factor judges — Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid — are featured on the cover of this week’s issue of TV Guide magazine and all 4 of them are interviewed for the coverstory feature. Click below to see the X Factor crew on the cover of TV Guide and read excerpts from their collective interview. More »
The Sweet Life
Get ready to gush. Miranda Kerr looks completely amazing in these photographs taken by her husband, actor Orlando Bloom, during their family’s stay in Wellington, New Zealand. Orlando is the kind of guy who– in between shooting for Peter Jackson‘s The Hobbit (The Lord of the Rings prequel)– makes breakfast for his wife and son and takes photos like you wouldn’t believe. It all kind of makes sense, Orlando being cousin to famed photographer and documentary filmmaker Sebastian Copeland. Orlando also took a photography and sculpture course back in the day, and it’s totally paying off. Peep the gallery for more Miranda (and an especially beautiful photo of her with the couple’s son Flynn) and check out the New York Times article (Kerr Goes Kiwi) to learn more about Miranda‘s adventures in New Zealand. I’ve got an excerpt inside!
"It's not about me"
On Tuesday we got our first listen of Taylor Swift‘s new single and latest break-up song We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and almost immediately, folks began to wonder who Taylor is singing about in the lyrics of the song. I wondered if the song might be about Jake Gyllenhaal (one of Taylor‘s more famous exes) but there are a lot of ex-boyfriends in Taylor‘s past that could’ve been the inspiration. Another of Taylor‘s more famous exes is Joe Jonas … but according to him, the song is not about their relationship. Click below to read what he has to say about Taylor‘s new song. More »
Prepare For The Sexy
A little while back we got to hear JoJo‘s new single Demonstrate, and it was pretty hot! I’ll always associate this singer with PITNBR Miguel, but a lot of you were excited to hear new music from her (shouts-out to Janaegal, Bradywantsmoore, Rome, Whit, Sarah, nicole, Mela, and Dee), so you’ll be happy to know that she’s got a new video in the works for this freaky lil track. Check out the sneak peek from MTV and relive and re-lurve the song, inside!
Personally? I’m hella excited to see those dancers puttin’ in work in the dining room, lol. And JoJo looks like she’s puttin in work herself… all over lil man. Nice!

The 'Single Ladies' Get Glam
A little while back we got to see the first trailer for Kirsten Dunst‘s next film Bachelorette, which also stars Rebel Wilson (!!!), Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan. While the trailer was fun, I heard that the NSFW one (wherever it is) does better justice to the film everyone was raving about at Sundance; here’s hoping we get to check that one out soon! In the meantime, the lovely ladies of Bachelorette (minus Rebel Wilson, wahhh!) have a new feature in Elle magazine. Check out the gallery to see how amazing the girls look (rocking Miu Miu, Derek Lam, DKNY, and more), and you can read an excerpt from the interview with the director, inside. Among other things, she talks about how the female version of a Judd Apatow movie is totally depressing… unless it’s done right.
But Says He Luuurves Chris Nolan's 'Memento'
Christopher Nolan is probably best known for his Dark Knight trilogy and maybe Inception as well, but did you know he made one of the coolest, most intense films in the history of film, ever– Memento?! My brain nearly exploded when I read that David Cronenberg (director of Robert Pattinson‘s next flick Cosmopolis) mentioned that Memento is Nolan‘s best film; for me, Nolan just got that much cooler. But Cronenberg also called The Dark Knight movies ‘boring,’ which kind of makes sense (coming from him)… and then kind of, totally doesn’t! Far be it for me to dispute the guy who made Eastern Promises and A History of Violence (and A Dangerous Method!), but whaaaattt?! Deets inside.
'GMA' Tries To Be 'The Daily Show', Fails
Yesterday we watched video of actor Robert Pattinson chatting charmingly with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show about his break-up with Kristen Stewart in such a way that he didn’t really have to say a thing and, yet, still convey to the audience that he is doing OK. Today, Pattinson was interviewed on Good Morning America and as you can see above, the interview was not really charming … it was kind of uncomfortable to watch. Jon Stewart gave R. Pattz some ice cream in order to break the ice and ease into the discussion. George Stephanopoulos, on GMA earlier today, awkwardly gave Rob a box of his favorite cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch) and then awkwardly launched into questions about his personal life. Rob responded in fine Rob fashion making it clear that he is not interested in “selling his private life” … which, of course, inspired Stephanopoulos to ask more probing questions about his private life. If you cannot watch the video above, click below to read how the GMA interview went down. More »
A Long Time Ago, While Filming A Cheesy-Ass Movie
Way back in 1994 actor Jean-Claude Van Damme was a fairly popular action star and Kylie Minogue was pretty much unknown here in the US. The pair starred in a live action film version of the video game Street Fighter. These days, Van Damme is all but forgotten as an actor and Minogue is one of the biggest pop stars in the world … so naturally, Van Damme is now dishing about how he bedded Minogue back in ’94 while the pair filmed Street Fighter together. It’s really weird the way he talks about this alleged affair. At first, he doesn’t seem willing to talk about it … then seconds later, he’s bragging like a 15 year old. Could it be true? Did Kylie really fall under the romantic sway of the Muscles from Brussels? More »
