"It's out there in the ether."
Extra! TV caught up with True Blood star Joe Manganiello this week and asked him point blank about the rumors that he may be playing Clark Kent/Superman in the Zack Snyder-directed reboot of Superman. Truth be told, I hadn’t heard the rumor that Joe was up for the role but I am intrigued by the idea. I’m also intrigued by the way that Joe responded to the questions about the possibility of playing The Man of Steel. More »

"He's fabulous. But he became gay later."
Back in February of 2009, Kyle Wilker outed New Kids on the Block singer Jonathan Knight in The National Enquirer by selling photos of the pair when they were a couple back in the day. This week, former popstar Tiffany outed Jonathan on national television when she appeared on the late night TV show Watch What Happens Live on Bravo TV. Tiffany dished to host Andy Cohen about how she used to date “shy” and “quiet” Jonathan before he “became gay”. Unfortch for Jonathan, he hasn’t actually come out of the closet publicly so … clearly Tiffany can’t keep a secret! More »

"['The Rachel' haircut] is ugliest haircut I've ever seen"
Jennifer Aniston is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Allure magazine and homegirl is gettin’ a lot of attention today due to her comments in her Allure interview about her famous haircut called The Rachel from her days on Friends. In new comments making the Internet rounds today, Jen confesses that she believes the The Rachel haircut to be the “ugliest haircut” she’s ever seen.
There was a time in the mid-1990s when women besieged salons with photos of the US actress to copy her style. The layered cut was given the name “The Rachel” after Aniston’s character in the hit US TV comedy series, Rachel Green. She wore the style in the show’s first and second seasons. One person who was not a fan of the haircut, however, was Jennifer herself. Aniston, now 41, told the February issue of US magazine Allure it was not her best look. Aniston’s long-time hairstylist Chris McMillan came up with the cut. He still works with her today. “I love Chris but he’s the bane of my existence because he started that damn ‘Rachel’, which was not my best look,” she said. “How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen,” she says. “What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs?”
LOL!! It’s quite possible that Jennifer Aniston would never have reached the heights of 90′s celebrity had it not been for that “ugly” haircut. In truth, all of the Friends actors were riding high on the success of the show … but Jennifer Aniston really stood apart in her own realm of celebrity due to The Rachel haircut. I mean, she prolly nabbed hubby Brad Pitt because of it … er, and now I think I understand why she prolly hates the damn thing. Ah well. Check out some photos below from Jen‘s Allure photoshoot … they are … interesting. While it’s Jen‘s comments about The Rachel that are getting all the attention, I think the photos below are worth discussing as well. What do y’all think?
