Of the many things that first drew me to the Pitch Perfect trailer, Adam DeVine from Comedy Central‘s Workaholics was one of them. When I realized that he was starring alongside Anna Kendrick in this a capella musical comedy of sorts, I kind of lost my mind. And rightfully so. This week, Taryn introduces us to Adam‘s character in Pitch Perfect (Bumper) and The notorious Treblemakers. Last week we got to meet The Bellas, and the bad ass boy group that they go up against is equally compelling and just as hilarious. Peep the video for more and somebody get me Workaholics seasons 1-3 on DVD. Thank you.
“The statute of limitations has now passed ..."
18 years ago, Kato Kaelin testified in open court in defense of OJ Simpson during Simpson‘s murder trial of his wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman. Partly due to Kaelin‘s testimony, Simpson was found not guilty of murder. In a new interview with Cindy Adams of The New York Post, Kaelin now claims that OJ “did it” (referring to the murders) and is coming forward with this admission now that the statue of limitations has run out and he cannot be prosecuted for this admission. The NY Post story started to pick up steam today when, for some reason, inspired Kaelin to sort of deny the comments he supposedly made to the Post. President Barack Obama paid a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC, NY last night to do a little campaigning on national television just before he attended a celebrity fundraiser for his campaign hosted by Beyoncé and Jay-Z at Jay‘s 40/40 Club. The President took the opportunity on Letterman to address the comments made by Mitt Romney that he doesn’t care about 47% of country, people he considers “free loaders” who “don’t pay taxes”. "I don't even know if it's an album"
Last month, in the wake of a LOT of back and forth discussion about the possible release of a posthumous album from the late singer Aaliyah, Missy Elliott went on the record to confirm that she has no plans to take part in any such project whatsoever, despite others making the claim that both she and Timbaland will be involved. Last night, on Hot 97, both Missy and Tim reiterated their stance that not only are they not involved with the Aaliyah project but they personally believe that a posthumous album release is not what Aaliyah would’ve wanted. Click below to read their latest comments on this Aaliyah project thing to see where they truly stand on the matter once and for all. More »
What the HELL was She On?
Last week we got to preview Dina Lohan‘s interview appearance on the Dr. Phil show which aired in full yesterday. Today we get to see clips from the show and further illustrate the bizarre and possibly intoxicated behavior that Dina exhibited thruout the entire interview. As you may recall, Dina looks like she was under the influence of … something … in the preview trailer we saw for the show last week. In watching the interview in full, it was plainly obvious to me that she was either just out of it or she was under the influence of some substance (alcohol? pills?). Today we get to see clips from Dina‘s appearance on Dr. Phil since the full interview has not been made available online. The video embed above features a collection of Dina‘s wackiest moments on the show. The video embeds below feature longer excerpts from the interview that, in sum, show you pretty much the entire interview. It’s fairly easy to see why Lindsay Lohan has so much personal turmoil in her life … especially when it’s clear how troubled her mother is. More »

Meet This Week's Hot-Person-Who-I-Didn't-Know-I-Was-Into-Until-Recently!
I’m not gonna lie, y’all. After that Joseph Gordon-Levitt post, I had a seriously difficult time finding a new hot person for us to profile. For a minute (and around the time E! kept showing Julie and Julia) I thought I was into Chris Messina, but then that fell apart. And then I was trying to figure out if Paul Dano was hot, but realized it was just that I loved his new movie For Ellen… but that he, himself wasn’t necessarily hot (but his acting totally is). It was a really difficult time for me! I realize now that I’ve been comparing all possible hot guys to JGL and that is not fair. The only way to find a new hot person of the week is to put our last hot person of the week behind me (if only for a moment), so as to properly focus on the the new person’s hotness. Enter Sam Riley. Peep the gallery and join me inside to get to know this week’s Hot-Person-Who-I-Didn’t-Know-I-Was-Into-Until-Recently!

A few days ago we heard that Usher would be giving his first and last interview about his very public, very dramatic family troubles on Oprah’s Next Chapter. We watched Rihanna share some very intimate, serioust stuff a while back and Usher is now, apparently, doing the same. We have the full video and I am so psyched to watch, but have been asked/specifically instructed to wait until the love of my life gets home from work so we can watch together. Aghh! The things you do for lurve. I was excited just to learn more about the custody decision (many of us were surprised when Usher was given primary custody) but then I heard that Usher sort of, kind of, or totally confessed to sleeping with his ex-wife Tameka‘s BRIDESMAID and I just cannot. I’ve only watched the first few minutes and I’m into it. Oprah is really digging (as only she can) and methinks Usher is definitely going to reveal some epic information. Peep the full interview above and tell me if, by the end of it all, you’re lurving, hating, or indifferent-ing Usher Raymond.
