Our beloved Taryn Rider is back with the best interview ever! Okay… I’m exaggerating a teeny bit. But she is sitting down with Rebel Wilson who is my absolute favorite, favorite, favorite anything in the world, lol! So far we’ve gotten to meet Adam DeVine and the Treblemakers of Pitch Perfect, along with Anna Kendrick and the Bellas. It’s been a a good time… and now Rebel is here!!! Rebel was one of the highlights of the MTV VMAs, recently/hilariously guest-hosted Chelsea Lately (and talked about her fave show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo), and she’s cracked us up every time we’ve watched the Pitch Perfect trailer. And for that, we thank her. Peep the video for more!
Oh, and pleeease tell me you saw Rebel‘s knuckle rings at the beginning of the interview! She is perfection.
"I don’t think people know the character well enough."
We are still a long way away from the theatrical release of the new Superman film Man of Steel but today we get to read excerpts from a new interview with star Henry Cavill about the film. Honestly, it doesn’t sound like Hank really wants to talk in too much detail about the role or the movie but the persistant interviewer manages to get him to talk about the role and the film a bit (the interview was conducted back when Cavill was promoting his role in Immortals and prolly just didn’t want to focus to be shifted to a film he hadn’t filmed yet to a film he was promoting at the time). Click below to read the relevant parts of this new interview to get a small Superman fix. More »
"I am in an immensely intense phase of my life"
Kristen Stewart is looking pretty damn hot on the cover of Glamour Magazine’s Germany October issue. The young actress (now rumored to be rekindling the flame with Robert Pattinson) is rocking a white tee, a lace mini skirt, and a pair of shoes that I want… badly. I’m also loving the black mani/pedi she has going on; it all looks very Kristen, but with a little glam, which is nice. The magazine also published a series of photographs inspired by On The Road (the film and the movie). These photos do not feature Kristen, but the models they used and photographer Paul Jasmin did a brilliant job recreating some familiar scene so those are in the gallery as well. Checkie out! And click inside for an excerpt from K-Stew‘s interview.
PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN!
Last Monday, Dina Lohan (mother of the still very troubled Lindsay Lohan) made a terribly embarrassing appearance on the Dr. Phil show in an attempt to “tell her side of the story” when it comes to the mess that is her own troubled life. Because she came off looking so bad and because her appearance was so talked about the day after, Dina wants another interview with Dr. Phil. She is claiming she wants a chance at redemption but something tells me that she is enjoying the 15 seconds of fame that her first appearance brought her … and she wants more. More »

The Single Drops Next Week!
Yes! I’m sooo excited to be reporting about Rihanna in a completely musical (as in drama/ex-boyfriend-free) capacity!!! The pop superstar– who’s new look I’m still loving all up and down– has officially announced her forthcoming single, titled Diamonds. Diamonds will appear on Rihanna‘s seventh studio album and will premiere next week!!! She must really be putting in that work because earlier this month she released that Cockiness single (with A$AP Rocky), which is off her last album Talk That Talk. Nuts. And I’m kind of more excited than I thought I would be, lol. Earlier today we saw pics of Rihanna at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and now we have the video of her there, announcing the new song. She describes it as ‘happy and hippie’ (or ‘hip-py’?) and she sounds quite pleased with the finished product. Also, she apparently ‘only knows how to be number one.’ Which makes sense. Checkie out!
UPDATE: There was some confusion and, since first posting this, we’ve learned that Diamonds is Rihanna‘s new single, not the new album. We still don’t know the name of the album but the cover art for the first single has been released.

'There's Enough Room For Everybody!'
It really looks like Missy Elliot is coming back into a music world that desperately needs her. This is good news, to say the least! Earlier this week we got to hear her two new singles 9th Inning and Triple Threat (currently on repeat), and many of us are celebrating the return of the great one. Recently she stopped by MTV‘s RapFix Live with Sway to chat about women in hip-hop and the awesomeness that it would be if we could all just get along, lol. It’s so good to hear an artist come out and, hopefully, encourage some of the newer artists (like Nicki Minaj and Azealia Banks) to squash whatever beefs are out there and just make good music together. Peep the video for more and celebrate the return of Miss E.!
Of the many things that first drew me to the Pitch Perfect trailer, Adam DeVine from Comedy Central‘s Workaholics was one of them. When I realized that he was starring alongside Anna Kendrick in this a capella musical comedy of sorts, I kind of lost my mind. And rightfully so. This week, Taryn introduces us to Adam‘s character in Pitch Perfect (Bumper) and The notorious Treblemakers. Last week we got to meet The Bellas, and the bad ass boy group that they go up against is equally compelling and just as hilarious. Peep the video for more and somebody get me Workaholics seasons 1-3 on DVD. Thank you.
“The statute of limitations has now passed ..."
18 years ago, Kato Kaelin testified in open court in defense of OJ Simpson during Simpson‘s murder trial of his wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman. Partly due to Kaelin‘s testimony, Simpson was found not guilty of murder. In a new interview with Cindy Adams of The New York Post, Kaelin now claims that OJ “did it” (referring to the murders) and is coming forward with this admission now that the statue of limitations has run out and he cannot be prosecuted for this admission. The NY Post story started to pick up steam today when, for some reason, inspired Kaelin to sort of deny the comments he supposedly made to the Post. President Barack Obama paid a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC, NY last night to do a little campaigning on national television just before he attended a celebrity fundraiser for his campaign hosted by Beyoncé and Jay-Z at Jay‘s 40/40 Club. The President took the opportunity on Letterman to address the comments made by Mitt Romney that he doesn’t care about 47% of country, people he considers “free loaders” who “don’t pay taxes”.
