Grumpy Cat Cannot Be Stopped
Not content to OWN the holiday made-for-TV game with just a movie starring En Vogue, Lifetime will air Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever on November 29 because, well, this is where our society has taken us. We’ve seen the trailer, now check out a collection of promo photos because, again, this is where our civilization is right now. Enjoy.
"What if En Vogue got back together ...?"
OMG OMG OMG!!! After the fiasco that was the failed Aaliyah biopic movie that aired on Lifetime last weekend, I was pretty certain that the only thing that could get me to tune in and watch their channel again would be the forthcoming Whitney Houston biopic movie (due out next year, surely to piss off the world again) … but I *JUST* found out that Lifetime will air on Saturday night a TV movie titled An En Vogue Christmas which tells the fictional take of the members of En Vogue reuniting to perform an Xmas concert to save a concert theater. As I understand it, former En Vogue member Dawn Robinson is planning to sue the network because she has been excluded from the movie … SO YOU KNOW IT’S GOING TO BE GOOD/TERRRRRRRIBLE! OMG. An En Vogue Xmas movie with most of the members of En Vogue playing En Vogue. My head just exploded. I will deff be tuning in to watch this movie when it airs on Lifetime on Saturday night … WILL YOU JOIN ME?
"Though you're far from me, say you'll BRB"
Mariah Carey is responsible for the single greatest Xmas song written in the past two decades (her massive hit All I Want For Christmas Is You) but there is a NEW Xmas song out this week that just may give Mimi a run for her money. Straight No Chaser teamed up with Kristen Bell for a new song titled Text Me Merry Christmas and as you can hear above in the just-released lyric video, it’s a carol that is very appros for today’s technology-obsessed culture. Have a listen and see what you think, is this new track an Xmas carol for the new era?

After a 3 week hiatus (which seemed like a 3 year exile), I was able to get back to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure to spend the day with my friends in our Sons of Anakin social club. The parks were really busy because ABC was filming holiday specials in both parks so the craziness that usually comes from Sundays was heightened by the filming crews all over the place … but lots of fun was had, nonetheless. Happy, Happy Day
Yesterday, as you should be well aware, was Britney Day in the city of Las Vegas, NV and as such, our dear Britney Spears was honored with the pomp and circumstance that she deserves. In front of a sea of fans, some of them also named Britney, Spears was honored with a key to the city of Las Vegas in a lavish ceremony. Britney also used the opportunity to announce a new business venture and a new set of Britney: Piece of Me performances set to take place next year. Britney Day was a day that will go down in history as the most Britney Spears Day EVER! More »

Hallowe’en in NYC was so much fun yesterday, I don’t even know where to begin. I guess I’ll just rattle off all of the fun stuff that my friends and I got up to in an effort to adequately describe how fun my day was. Before any of the Hallowe’en fun got started, I made my way to the NYC Marathon Expo to pick up my race bib and shirt for the big race tomorrow morning. Then I met up with Sarah and Mark in the city so that we could do a bit of shopping in SoHo before we returned home to get ready for the Hallowe’en fun ahead. We had PLANNED on meeting up with Shannon and our NEW PITNB intern Iris but the damn West Village Hallowe’en Parade LITERALLY got in our way. We ended out the night at a party with my friend Michael and his friends … OH and then late night eats after midnight at a great little greasy spoon in Brooklyn. Ah, the life. More »
This Is Hallowe'en
Welp, another Hallowe’en has come and gone and here we are on November 1 again. While I’m certain that many of you had great fun last night celebrating All Hallows Eve, it should come as no surprise that many of our fave celebs also got up to lots of fun playing dress up. Our dear Britney Spears dressed as a nerd (female Urkle?) while her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James dressed up as ninja executioners, I think. Neil Patrick Harris and his family dressed up as Batman characters from Gotham City and Heidi Klum killed the costume game AGAIN as a creepy-looking yet beautiful butterfly. Click through the gallery to see Rihanna as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Nick Jonas as a gangster, Katy Perry as a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto, Iggy Azalea as white chick from White Chicks and more!

Actually, this is awesome
If little babies dressed in Hallowe’en costumes does not give you a thrill beyond belief, we are on two. Different. Wavelengths. Because, OMG, this photo of North West as a skunk (first off, is way cuter than it sounds) totally slayed me, but then I saw that she also dressed up as Vogue editor André Leon Talley and I lost it. SO CUTE. Now Trent has already declared Beyoncé and Blue Ivy the winners of all things Hallowe’en 2014, but these pics of Nori are still pretty cute! Click inside for more!
Game Over, THEY WIN EVERYTHING
Hallowe’en is *just* getting started here on the East Coast (6PM ET) but I’m ready to call it game over because Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy have already won the night. Bey posted a photo of her Hallowe’en costume on her official Instagram profile showing her dressed as Janet Jackson, from the Rhythm Nation era. But as amazing as Beyoncé looks as Janet, she is upstaged by her daughter Blue Ivy who is dressed for Hallowe’en this year as Michael Jackson, from the Beat It era. Folks, their costumes are E-V-E-R-Y-D-A-M-N-T-H-I-N-G. Have a look below. More »
