WHILE they decorate the Xmas tree
It’s beginning to look a lot like Xmas everywhere you go and that includes going inside the homes of some of our fave celebrities … like Neil Patrick Harris. NPH shared the most adorable video of his twin children Harper Grace and Gideon Scott on his official Instagram profile that is sure to warm even the Grinch‘s cold heart and get anyone who watches it into the holiday spirit. In the video below, you will see Harper and Gideon decorate the family Xmas tree while they sing Jingle Bells together. Naturally, they make some mistakes with the lyrics … which makes the video all the cuter. Seriously, I’m not sure you’re ready to handle the cuteness below so … brace yourselves and proceed with an abundance of caution. More »
"Do not try this at home"
Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow is currently hard at work in the editing room, making sure that the much-anticipated sequel is edited to perfection before the film opens in theaters next summer. But, as a holiday gift to fans, Trevorrow is sharing today a fun photo with the world. Last night, Trevorrow shared a photo on his official Twitter profile that features Jurassic World star Chris Pratt posing with a velociraptor — which you can see in full below. I don’t know about you but I can’t think of a cooler holiday photo than one that features one of the deadliest creatures to ever roam the planet … and a velociraptor. More »
"Little lights flash in your eyes / Glowing by the fireside"
We are just about a week away from Xmas 2014 and everywhere you go, there is Xmas music everywhere. Some people love it, others don’t … but I’m a fan of Xmas music. I don’t really go for the traditional type of Xmas music but I do like creative versions of the classic carols or poppy, upbeat original songs. Owl City has released a new Xmas single titled Kiss Me Babe, It’s Christmas Time which you can hear in full above. Owl City is usually hit or miss for me but there is something I like about this song. Have a listen, see what you think.
The First of 6 Xmas Concerts
Earlier this month, Mariah Carey gave a questionable live performance on live television when she sang at the Xmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center in NYC. Last night, Mimi more than redeemed herself with a stunning Xmas concert performance at the Beacon Theater in NYC. Mariah is performing 6 sold out shows at the Beacon Theater over the coming days as an Xmas gift to her fans and last night was the first show. Click through the gallery to see some photos from her performance last night then click below to watch video of Mimi performing the Xmas classic songs O Holy Night and Joy to the World. More »

After my race yesterday morning, I got some work done (and some rest accomplished) before I made my way over to my friends Jessika and Jesse’s home for the Sons of Anakin holiday party. A couple of weeks ago, we club members drew names for a gift exchange and Jessika and Jesse graciously offered to host the party in their home. It was the first time since I joined that all of the members were able to spend time together outside of Disneyland. I always have a great time with these folks so it should come as zero surprise that last night was a lot of fun. More »

Complete with Outtakes
Last month, Ariana Grande released her holiday single Santa Tell Me and today we get to see the just-released music video for the track. As you can see above, Ari gathered together some of her friends for this fun video and it looks like they had the best time ever! The shoot was so fun that so much extra footage was shot that the best outtakes are featured at the end of this clip. Click above to watch the video and outtakes from Grande‘s Santa Tell Me music video and see all the fun Ariana and her friends got up to in the making.
You will seriously LOL
An industrious fan has assembled a neat lip dub video that features characters from Marvel Studios‘ movies singing Xmas carols for our listening pleasure. As with all lip dub videos, the clip is fairly entertaining … but when Groot pops up to sing Jingle Bells, well, it is at that point that you will seriously LOL. This is a fun video, please enjoy.

Last night, the series finale episode of Sons of Anarchy aired on FX bringing to a close the 7 season series that loosely told the tale of Shakespeare‘s Hamlet through the lives of a California motorcycle club. I made sure to be in front of my TV set last night to watch the series finale episode Papa’s Goods live as it aired so that the finale wouldn’t be spoiled in any way. I will recap the episode below with commentary and animated gifs so if you have yet to watch last night’s episode, you might want to come back after you do. Altho Sons of Anarchy was far from a perfect show, it definitely ended in a way that left many fans very satisfied and other fans very unsatisfied … which is exactly what one should expect from a series finale episode of any TV show. "I don't think Christmas Day is quite the time to be trading slaps"
British TV network Channel 4 approached Morrissey with an offer to broadcast an Alternative Christmas Message opposite Queen Elizabeth, II‘s annual Christmas Message to subjects. Channel 4, I think, was hoping Moz would jump at the chance to skewer the British Monarchy with a scathing message that might generate ratings for their network. They were wrong. Morrissey has decided to decline Channel 4‘s offer and posted an official message online explaining why he decided not to broadcast his very own Alternative Christmas Message on British television. Sam Smith is having a really great week this week. Yesterday he garnered 6 Grammy Award nominations, tying Beyoncé for the most noms this year. Today, we learn that he is coming to take over Xmas with the release of his new Xmas single Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Altho a holiday classic, Have Yourself is probably one of the saddest songs I’ve ever heard ever. The song often sung in a mournful way that kinda makes you want to cry your eyes out … which is exactly what Sam Smith does very, very well. Click the embed above to hear Sam‘s take on this holiday classic and see if it makes you want to have yourself a merry little Xmas now.
