Archie Comics Features Its First Same-Sex Marriage

Back in April of 2010, the long running Archie Comics introduced a new gay character named Kevin Keller. In March of 2011, Kevin Keller got his own spin-off comic book series alongside the various other Archie Comics offerings. Today we learn that Archie Comics is celebrating this month its first same-sex marriage in Life With Archie No. 16. The Life With Archie title takes place in a future comic book universe and in Issue No. 16, Kevin Keller — an army veteran — marries his partner Dr. Clay Walker. This is deffo not your father’s Archie Comics storyline … but it is a very important, timely and effing awesome storyline nonetheless. More »

Last month Sinead O’Connor told the world that her and her hubby, Barry Herridge, had broken things off. The marriage at that time was just 16 days old and already plagued with drug use rumors. Ricky Martin & Carlos Gonzalez Are NOT Married

Over the past few days, rumors have been going around that Ricky Martin and his longtime partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella got married or are planning to marry in NYC soon. As you may recall, marriage rumors concerning this two started up in April of last year. Back then, the reports were that Ricky and Carlos were planning to be married in Gonzalez‘s home country of Spain (the marriage rumors intensified in November when it was rumors swirled that Ricky applied for Spanish citizenship). People in Español is confirming today that Ricky and Carlos have NOT gotten married and have no plans to marry in the near future … certainly not in NYC. More »

Earlier this month we learned the somewhat surprising news that singer Sinéad O’Connor got married to an addiction counselor named Barry Herridge after only knowing him for 3 months. Today we learn that the couple’s marriage of a little over 2 weeks is dunzo. That’s right folks, it turns out that Sinéad and Barry‘s Las Vegas, NV wedding vows couldn’t stand the test of time … and the couple decided to split and end their marriage. On Wednesday we saw photos of tween popstar lovebirds Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez making their arrival in Los Cabos, Mexico ahead of a friend’s wedding. Yesterday we saw photos of Justena relaxing by the pool together in the hours leading up to the big wedding. Today we get to see photos of the pair at said wedding. Irish musician turned priest Sinéad O’Connor got herself married yesterday (for the 4th time, mind you) to her addiction counselor boyfriend turned fiancée (of only 3 months) Barry Herridge … in Las Vegas, NV. Sinéad and Barry didn’t get married in any ol’ LV wedding chapel, they got married at THE infamous Little Wedding Chapel … using their drive-thru ceremony option … complete with a pink Cadillac and an Elvis Presley impersonator. Altho Beyoncé Knowles is a HUGELY popular public figure, she has managed to keep significantly important private parts of her life, well, private. Beyoncé managed to keep pretty much all of the deets about her wedding to Jay-Z completely secret … she even managed to keep photos of her nuptials completely out of the public eye. The eagle-eyed folks at Celebuzz managed to notice that Bey has finally decided the time is right to share some parts of her wedding day with the world … and has offered up a glimpse of her wedding dress. During Beyoncé‘s performance of I Was Here at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC, NY a couple of months ago, a quick look at Beyoncé‘s dress flashed on screen … and now that that performance is being released on DVD, those of us not in attendance at the show can see her dress too.
