These two are the oddest celeb couple … back in February we heard that the couple got engaged in December of last year and then they fell off the face of the planet. They were out of sight for so long I had forgotten that they even existed (seriously). It wasn’t until R. Bils was walking around with a phat diamond on her ringfinger in July that I remembered that she and Hayden were engaged. I’m not used to celebs keeping out of sight for so long. The skeptic in me can’t help but have serious doubts about this relationship but, then again, just because they don’t flaunt themselves every chance they get doesn’t mean they’re not really in love. I suppose we won’t be seeing them for another few months now … I wonder where they’ll pop up next.

As you may recall, last week we saw photos of Tommy boy doing some fairly impressive stuntwork on the Boston, MA set of his new film Wichita and just earlier this week we saw even more impressive stuntwork from the man. It looks like these photos were snapped on one of his lighter days since he’s not flinging himself on to fast-moving vehicles this time around. I can’t help but think that Erik Estrada looks better in the highway patrolman getup but, hey, Tom’s gotta make a living to take care of his loving wife and robot child.

Jenny’s life is about to get a lot more complicated. Kevin Zegers has joined the cast of the CW’s “Gossip Girl” for a multi-episode arc. He will play Damien, an international bad-boy love interest of Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen). Zegers, who starred opposite Felicity Huffman in “TransAmerica,” was recently seen in “50 Dead Men Walking” and “The Narrows.” He will soon begin production on “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.”

I *love* Kevin Zegers … he was really fantastic in TransAmerica. I’m sure he’ll add a lot to GG considering he has the acting chops to actually act. Mebbe Momsen will learn a thing or two from her new co-star. So … what do ya’ll think about this new addition to the show? Do we like?

While she insists she’s not ready for motherhood yet, Beyonce Knowles got into practice by spending the day caring for her four-year-old nephew. The singer was spotted teaching Daniel Julez about designer sunglasses as the pair and Beyonce’s mother Tina shopped on Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive. Despite Beyonce’s fashionable outfit, she was upstaged by her young nephew, who was wearing a black T-shirt with the logo ‘my auntie rocks’. Already adapting to the celebrity lifestyle at a tender age, Daniel wore a blue pair of Oakley sunglasses. After perusing the racks of shades in the Ilori boutique in Beverly Hills’ most expensive shopping venue, Beyonce was happy to let Daniel take the lead as he dragged her out of the store. Matching her high fashion environment, the 27-year-old singer was bang on trend in a pair of PVC knee-high gladiator heels and strapless brown playsuit. Notably absent was Daniel’s mother Solange Knowles – Beyonce’s younger sister – so presumably auntie Beyonce had been left in charge for the day … While Beyonce has frequently spoken of her love for little Daniel, she admitted she is reluctant to go through childbirth herself. Although happily married to rapper/producer Jay-Z, Beyonce is in no rush to start a family. She said: “I’m terrified of delivering a child because I saw my nephew being born. That traumatised me. I’m only 27. I’ve got time.”

Okay, I realize that the clues were a dead giveaway but with an artist as accomplished as Beyoncé is, it’s hard to be subtle. People, I can absolutely confirm that little Daniel’s auntie does, indeed, rock. Beyoncé made an absolute believer out of me. Her show last night was nothing less than spectacular. I’ve never seen a pop performer put that much talent and energy into a live performance before. For over 2 hours, Beyoncé KILLED vocally, acrobatically and, yes, fiercely. I’ll have my full review of her concert last night (with a bunch of photos) a little later on today but, again, Beyoncé honestly and truly made a bigger fan out of me last night. Beyoncé does rock!!

OMG … I love that he used to be called Patty. It sounds like Rob was able to enjoy a very normal childhood and has deffo stayed grounded in the hoopla of all of his new found fame. Honestly, I don’t know that I would’ve been able to guess that it is R. Pattz in his kiddie photos … I think I can only see the resemblance now that I know it’s him. In any event, he was a cutie.
